Jameson Pelkey
Athletic Director at St. John's Prep
Here at St. John’s, we are intentional about educating the whole person. We want well-rounded student-athletes who excel in the classroom and represent themselves well on and off the playing field. One of the biggest areas we emphasize is leadership, and Jay came in and worked with our fall captains to deliver a powerful workshop. He spoke on humility, when to challenge a teammate, when to pull back, and shared great personal stories that really connected with our student-athletes. They were actively engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and took ownership of the conversation. It was a huge win for our program to have Jay with us this season. He also had meaningful conversations with our coaches, which made a real difference. We’re looking forward to having Jay back this winter and spring.

Jay Urich with Banner Player Development has been a HUGE part of helping our athletic department thrive. His intentional approach to developing student-athletes — especially in leadership, discipline, and accountability — has made a measurable impact on our program. The platform he’s built to invest in young people is truly incredible.
Eric Gambrell
Athletic Director at Batesburg Leesville HS
The people in the room have no clue the amount of wealth that was received today. Thank you, every last one of our athletes, coaches, and parents needed to be here today. I fumbled the ball by not getting them here.

Head Football Coach at TL Hanna
I support Banner Player Development because young people today need guidance on where to place their identity and value. It's easy for athletes to define themselves by their sport, but Banner helps them understand that their worth goes far beyond their performance. They're helping athletes build character, lead with confidence, and prepare for life long after the game is over.”
Kier Meredith
Former Clemson Baseball Player
When my playing career ended, I had to start from ground zero. Without baseball, I didn't know who I was. Planning for your future matters more than most athletes realize — everyone has to hang up the jersey someday. Doing this work on the front end will save you lots of time. Banner helps make this happen!

Athletic Director, Lexington District 1
Banner is creating something special, where leadership, character, and personal growth are just as important as performance on the field. Developing champions means more than wins and losses; it means preparing young people for life, and Banner is helping make that possible.
Rashard Hall
Former Clemson All-American and NFL Player
What Jay Urich and his team have built is nothing short of elite. It wasn't just about preparing for college athletics, it was about preparing for life. Every moment served as a blueprint — not only for what it takes to succeed at the next level of sport, but how to use character, work ethic, and vision to lead in the locker room, in the community, and beyond.
