Yesterday was one of those days I’ll never forget. We hosted a sold-out Pavilion Women’s Summit with 170 executive women in B2B tech - and the amount of brainpower, generosity, and real talk in the room was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. We talked about wealth-building, comp transparency, executive presence, and decision making in times of uncertainty. We laughed. We got vulnerable. We learned from each other. And we left stronger - individually and collectively. I’m especially grateful to Anne Pao and Lindsay Tjepkema, who’ve stepped in as the driving force behind our Women of Pavilion community. These two women are absolute powerhouses and we're so lucky to have them at the helm. When I led our first Women’s Summit last year, it was an all-volunteer side project. This year, we had a true organizing team for the event AND a steering committee for the community - and it made all the difference. Today, we roll right into GTM2025, Pavilion’s flagship event. And if yesterday was any indication, it’s going to be 🔥 #womenssummit #gtm2025 #kathleenhq

What are you doing in Washington DC? I’m loving seeing friends and meeting new people in the GTM world. It started with the Women’s Summit which was full of connection and learning thanks to Kathleen Booth, Anne Pao, Lindsay Tjepkema and all of the participants. Seeing Lori Richardson, Kristie K. Jones and Michelle Ji-Yeun Kim on the first evening at the reception was extra special. The day was full of panels, speakers and table talk. I saw so many friends I’d never met in person before. What have I learned? Pavilion is providing an exceptional space for female GTM professionals to learn and grow. Amazing camaraderie! I confirmed that women are craving the in person connection provided by events like these. Looking forward to more learning and connecting today.

Last night reminded me just how powerful the events around the event can be. The Women In B2B Marketing LIVE: Behind the Mic gathering, hosted by Jane Serra and sponsored by Sendoso and UserGems 💎 , was an incredible kickoff to the CMO Summit energy in Atlanta. From long-overdue IRL hugs with people I’ve known online, to reconnecting with familiar faces, to making new introductions that might spark something meaningful for others—it was exactly the kind of connection-rich night that energizes me. The room was full of smart, inspiring women (shoutout to Women of Pavilion) and I’m grateful for the intentional space that was created for us to connect before the big event today. Photos below—and if you were there, I hope we got a chance to chat. If not, let’s fix that at the Summit!

I'm still riding the high from the AMAZING panel discussion at Pavilion Women's Summit today. Kimberly Storin, Amanda Goetz and I along side Lindsay Tjepkema tackled "Crafting Your Executive Narrative" I kicked us off with my definition of executive narrative "The stories we have, that we share, that have meaning to drive impact and influence." Kim grounded us in her 3-part framework for defining your narrative: 1️⃣ Identify Your Purpose 2️⃣ Connect it to your unique superpower/strength 3️⃣ Define it in connection to how it benefits your company. And Amanda showed us what's possible when we feet it right brought it home with encouragement. The way our insights and experience blended on stage was such a joy. Definitely the best panel I've been on. And thanks Leah Russo for capturing the great photos during the discussion. You rock! #GTMSummit #Pavilion #GTM2025

Late to the posting party with my fellow speakers and co-organizers, but it's certainly not for lack of enthusiasm! Grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Kathleen Booth, Anne Pao, Lindsay Tjepkema and a host of awesome others to help line up a bang-up second annual Pavilion's Women Summit in DC this September! 🗓 September 22–23 📍 The Mayflower Hotel | Washington, D.C. 💬 For executive-level women attending Pavilion's GTM2025 🎟️ Only 200 seats. This WILL sell out. Last year's event was one to remember. The second I walked into an optional SUNDAY evening dinner and realized 100 rockstar women had volunteered part of their weekend to spend time together, I knew this was going to be an epic affair, and I am equally confident this year's program will only take the bar a level higher! This year's program is truly multi-dimensional and will cover everything from the critical skills you need to master in the C-Suite (my "Core Four" ... shocker!!) to nailing annual planning, crafting your executive narrative, understanding comp and equity and even building your personal wealth. If you are a woman GTM exec, this is one you won't want to miss! lnkd.in/ebQMgXRg

How much thought and care and prep do *you* put into your event agenda? (Be honest.) Because the Pavilion Women's Summit is coming to DC this fall and it's blowing my socks off... 🧦 It's an agenda rooted in what real women in GTM say they care most about. 🧦 It’s not performative, but rather built from real conversations and ideas from the 1,200 women in Pavilion’s community. 🧦 It's hitting hard, with 25+ CEOs, CCOs, CMOs, CROs, VC Partners, Founders and VPs who will take the stage as speakers at this event. 🧦 (That's a lot of socks.) And here's the fun thing... there is still an opportunity for values-aligned brands to step in and sponsor the travel & expenses for those amazing speakers. Interested? Drop a note here or shoot Lindsay Tjepkema a note to learn all about what's included and the massive impact your support can have. And ... I hope to see some of you at the event itself! (Including for early morning yoga with the incomparable Anne Pao! 🧘‍♀️ )

What happens when world-class GTM leaders finally meet in person? In this #GTM2025 clip, Lara Cherem shares how her first six months in Pavilion came full circle at Women’s Summit and GTM. For her, it wasn’t just about the sessions — it was about connection. Meeting peers she’d only known online. Having real conversations that turned into friendships. Walking away with new insights and a stronger network of women who get it. “The Women’s Summit has been the most impactful. I met so many women that I knew but hadn’t met in real life… I’ve definitely expanded my network.” That’s what Pavilion does best: it gives you proximity — to people, to learning, and to opportunity. Last year at Pavilion's first ever Women’s Summit, I walked into the room expecting great content. I left feeling completely changed. There’s something powerful about being in a space where every single person around you gets it. Where the conversation isn’t filtered. Where women in senior go-to-market roles are telling the truth - about leadership, about pressure, about bias, about ambition, and about what it really takes to rise. I remember sitting in a small circle with a group of women I’d never met, sharing stories about getting offered what looked like big titles and great opportunity only to realize they were being set up for failure. Under-resourced, inheriting the "problem child" of the business, and being expected to pull off a miracle. Essentially, experiencing "the glass cliff". I’ve thought about those conversations all year. So yes - I’m counting down to this year’s Women’s Summit on September 23 in Washington, D.C. And now, the agenda and speaker lineup are live. What makes this year even better? Under the leadership of our newly-appointed Women of Pavilion community leaders Anne Pao and Lindsay Tjepkema, we’ve developed a truly community-driven program that doubles down on real talk. And, we’re bringing in speakers like: Kimberly Storin, CMO of Zoom Cassie Young, General Partner at Primary Gianna Scorsone, Co-founder at Champion HQ Christina Brady, CEO of Luster Deidre Hudson, CMO of YELL This event isn’t a sidebar. It’s a summit designed to help women in GTM lead with confidence and courage in a world that isn’t always built for us. 🎟️ Only 200 seats. It will DEFINITELY sell out. Get your ticket here > hubs.ly/Q03tCYMg0 If you’re ready to level up - and bring other women with you - I’ll see you there! What happens when 800+ GTM leaders take over DC? Magic. ✨ GTM has its own energy each year, and I loved this year's. It's a lil' battle-weary out here — marketing has been freakin' ROUGH — but being in rooms with my people, talking to some of the smartest minds in the biz about how they’re coping or even thriving, felt like real healing. Sooo I did a thing and moderated a panel! Even better: I got to do it alongside Amanda McGuckin Hager, Colby Proffitt, and Jane Serra. The conversation was validating, cathartic, illuminating — and fun. They showed up candidly about something we’re all still figuring out: how marketing should adapt to AI search visibility. Also: must call out the WW Ripple Toast! It started small back in 2023; this year, it needed its own ballroom. Huge love and admiration to Melissa Moody & Leslie Greenwood for building this inspiring #community. 💜 I skipped the Women’s Summit (hear me now: FOMO was real). Grabbed a PTO day to wander the city — ALL THE MUSEUMS IN DC ARE FREE, and I am lowkey (highkey?) nerdy AF. But I saw the spaces filling with fierce women I admire, heard amazing things, and I regret nothing. Huge shout to Sam Jacobs, Kathleen Booth, and the Pavilion team for running this event like a Swiss watch. The warmth, accessibility, and brainpower of the PVLN community are big reasons #GTM remains a must-attend for me. Other highlights: 🚘 Chuck Berry’s Cadillac at the African American History Museum (I’d write songs about that car) 🍩 Breakfast and real talk with Sharon Harrison and Beth Griesbauer — finally meeting IRL after being longtime clients + friends = totally worth the wait! 💟 Dinner with the Cybersecurity Marketing Society crew (Gianna Whitver, Maria Velasquez, Manny Ataebi💡, Michelle Eatherton, and more) — cannot WAIT to hang with these folks again at CyberMarketing Con in December 🧩 Solving all the world’s marketing problems in a CMO breakout with Gordon Knapp, William Chia, and Tyler Calder — consensus: marketing sometimes needs to be more selfish 🎸A bar built from cassette tapes at GTM After Dark — I can't overstate how cool that was 🏀 Arcade Night, where yes, I definitely beat everyone at Super Shot, and don't believe any witnesses who tell you otherwise. Can we do all after parties at arcades, plz? 🍽️ Dinner at Old Ebbitt, surrounded by Teddy Roosevelt’s weird hunting trophies, with ☁️ Cliff Simon, Larysa Zakirova, Eric Doucet, and a ton of folks I didn’t get to fully talk to but who were still a blast 🫶 Hanging with old friends and meeting new ones: Randi-Sue Deckard 🔬 Junior Lartey 🎁 Josh Norris 🐦‍🔥 Kate DiLeo Patricia DuChene 🐰 Jen Igartua Jordan Benjamin 🧘 Emma Lo 🧩 Brandon Redlinger Rita Jhaveri and more folks LI won't let me tag. Next year, GTM goes back to NYC, where it all started — and you know I’ll be there. And yes, there was also killer content! We share our faves in the Kickstand blog; take a look if you wanna skip the FOMO and just get to the good parts.

Packing the blazer, the MAKE WAVES tshirt, and the purple converse—DC, here I come ✈️ This will be my 3rd time attending #GTM2025 with Pavilion and my 2nd Women's Summit (2 for 2!) —and I keep coming back for a reason. Yes, the sessions are 🔥. Yes, the speakers are in-the-trenches leaders sharing things you can actually use the next day. But the real magic? 🪄 Executive-only conversations that go deeper—peer-to-peer support, zero posturing. In the past, I've had the joy of chatting with amazing folks on a real world level such as Derek E. Weeks Alina Vandenberghe Ashley Faus and even Kim Scott #inthewild ✨ Real talk, real learning—from CROs, CMOs, RevOps leaders .... I know that experts like Kathleen Booth Anne Pao Ellie Wu Liza Adams and more are going to light up the stages with their knowledge. 🫶 Casual meetups that lead to unexpected collaborations - and close friendships that last a lifetime - like with wonderful folks such as Jane Serra Lindsay Tjepkema Antonio Caridad Jessie Shipman Steph Reck Pete Vomocil 💛 among many others 💜 And of course time with Wednesday Women friends and allies - some above and too many to name but from toast-time (looking at you Molly George and Nycole Walsh 📈 and Emilie Totten and Emily Harper, CFP®) to coffee chats and dinner experiences... there's always purple around when I'm walking any event floor. Over the years, this event has opened doors I didn’t even know I was knocking on—from my last CEO role to finding guests for The Joy of Connecting to behind-the-scenes advisory roles or even discovering folks who are desperate for a supportive women's membership. I’ll be sharing snapshots and stories all week long—so follow along if you’re curious (or just want to see what serendipitous connections I make!) 👇 If you’re going—drop a note below! I want to be sure to meet up or walk + talk between sessions. (Or tag along to whatever fun party you're going to!) #GTM25 #JoyOfConnecting #WomenInLeadership
