When ever I had to work out of my truck it was frustrating to dig through all the tool bags and loose items in my truck’s back seat or bed toolbox. Decided to dedicate an area with some mounted Packout drawers and wanted to organize all the tools I use the most. A big issue was finding a solution for all my wrenches that took up a lot of time to find or keep track of. Was looking at other products I’ve used before and at first didn’t like the design of the Alien Space Savers until I weighed the pros and cons and found that they were the best choice for me. I'm no professional - more of a dedicated amateur. I've got this assortment of 1/4" and smaller sockets that belonged to both dad and brother - dating back into the 50's. I got the Alien socket rig to give them a place in a toolbox drawer rather than just scattered about. It's just what I needed.

My name, John Angle, I recently had a problem in my phone booth sized workshop, “Running out of Floor Space” No, I don’t work for Alien Space Saver, I’m not a professional product reviewer, I’m a retired, 73 year old guy who lives in my workshop every day. My rant here is long, so the short version, I am totally impressed with the 150 Alien Space savers I purchased, They literally made my task complete, easy, configurable, and hold a lot more than just wrenches. I had the same toolbox setup for ten years. Used it every day. And when I say every day, I mean it got more use than most marriages. But eventually I needed more storage and less floor space. Which sounds like a great plan until you think about it. “I need a smaller toolbox, so I can fit more tools.” Yeah. That’s not a sentence that should make sense. It’s like saying, “I need a smaller refrigerator because I want to store more food.” My shop floor was disappearing faster than beer at a frat party. Every square foot had something sitting on it. Tools, cabinets, boxes, bags, organizers, at some point I was going to need a zoning permit just to walk to the workbench. So I started looking for a smaller footprint that would somehow hold more. I looked at tool boxes, organizers, trays, containers for weeks. My existing tool containers and organizers wouldn’t fit most. That’s the kind of measurement that sounds insignificant until you’re standing there with a $40 organizer in your hand thinking, “Well, congratulations. You’re now a decorative tray.” I bought a 72-inch cabinet with a 42-inch top chest. I moved everything from the old box into the new one and still had enough room to dump several tool bags into it. I’ve only had it for a few month, so I’m not going to pretend I’ve conducted a ten-year scientific study on it. But so far? Extremely satisfied. I also paired it with Alien Space Savers in my wrench, socket and pliers drawers, and for the way I organize my tools, they’ve turned out to be an excellent choice and I tried other similar type and sent them back. But when I needed to shrink the footprint while somehow storing more tools, my Alien Space savers helped make it happen Don’t get me wrong, I have a complaint, no a suggestion, First, I wish they were a 1/4” taller, wish the top was flat instead of tapered so a label could be added, and lastly I wish I had ability to request the length of the base they connect to, that way 1 set would stretch full length of my drawers with out using the available connectors And if Alien Space Savers wants to send me another 100 Blue ones I wouldn’t complain, I could sure use them. Just kidding.

Amazing product! I shopped everywhere to find an orange wrench dividers and Alien Space Saver didn’t disappoint. By far the best at “SAVING SPACE”!

Great product. I was able to organize and compact 3 drawers of sockets into 1 drawer. The colors are really nice too. I got orange and green.

Lead mechanic in a fleet maintenance facility. Class 7 and 8 trucks. My wrenches took up 3 drawers in my box and now occupy 1. Screwdrivers occupied 2 drawers and only 1. It's nice to be able to see if something is missing at a glance. Makes it very easy to grab the wrench I want.

I love alien space savers. I bought the ones designed for a 3 drawer Packout and they work in my four drawer! I use these tools for doing on job site repairs to small and midsize engines and was tired of digging thru the pile to find the wrench I needed. These were quickly shipped and easy to install. A must have for anybody’s toolbox

I’m a mobile exercise, equipment technician. I’m constantly going for my truck to different locations to do repairs. Being organized is a huge benefit when I’m looking for a tool. Before this, I had my sockets in a bag.

Organizers seem to be of a sturdy material and assemble easily. Being a mobile mechanic I prefer to have something I can carry a rack of wrenches or a rail of sockets from the truck to the unit being worked on.

I have been recommending these for years. The best organizers for wrenches hands down. This drawer is in a 56” Lista that was maxed out before these. Now there is room to spare. Slowly transitioning to all alien space savers. Highly recommend!

I am a German car tech and my box had no room. I didn't really want to buy an new box so I order some Alien Space Savers. I was able to make enough room where I have 2 empty drawers. Awesome product. Will definitely be buying more.

I am a 30yr mechanic who has tried many different storage devices in the past. Alien space saver allows me to see what tools are still out of my box before a vehicle leaves my bay. My favorite thing is how changeable they are with the simple addition or subtraction of a modular piece. I would like to see a selection of space savers for the larger tools. I need storage for my larger wrenches above 1 1/4” and larger sockets being 3/4” and 1” drive.

I’m a mobile exercise equipment technician and being organized helps a lot with time management on the job. I am still growing my load out for jobs and plan to exclusively use these going forward. When I get around to organizing my home tool chests I will use them as well

Hi all my name is Mark ! I like working on trucks, 4 wheelers, dirt bikes , and farm & ranch equipment. Back when i was looking for tool box organizers for wrenches and sockets for my tool box's .. I ran across Alien Space Savers I think they just getting started as you can tell from there older organizer's in the pic's. These are a must for any tool box if your tools are just thrown in the drawers.. they just work for saving space and make it easy to manage tools.
