The Great Investments program is a true example of knowledge is power. I can’t put a value on this because Alpesh and his team quite literately give students the most potent professional tools for becoming independent and successful investors, and enable people to be in control of their financial future. I have been very conservative, slow and cautious with my investments but my ISA and SIPP are up by 46% in two years! I work in public services and have no background in finance, but the way that Alpesh explains everything makes it really easy to understand, and apply in practice. I know that I have a long way to go before I am able to do this without Alpesh’s guidance but I am confident that this is possible! I am also in awe of Alpesh’s commitment, amount of effort that he and his team put in, and his passion for enabling people to become financially independent. I joined Alpesh Patel's Great Investment Programme (GIP) in April 2023 after experiencing significant losses in 2022. The market turned against me, and I found myself selling at the worst possible time, missing the subsequent rebound. This led me to sit on the side-lines, uncertain and hesitant about re-entering the market. In 2023, I started following Alpesh on social media, and his content gradually built my confidence to dip my toes back into the market. Initially, I was sceptical about joining GIP due to the cost and my lack of experience in purchasing individual stocks—I had primarily invested in funds and ETFs up to that point. Despite my reservations, I decided to join GIP. Alpesh's monthly spreadsheet shortlist gave me a structured approach to purchasing individual shares. Since joining, my knowledge and understanding of investments have grown substantially. Alpesh provides a wealth of content, catering to all types of investors, which has been incredibly beneficial. One of the toughest parts for me has been identifying my risk profile and selecting investments that suit it. The plethora of options sometimes makes it challenging to narrow down the choices. While not all my investments have been winners, the experiences have been invaluable in understanding my reactions and refining my risk profile. The rules-based approach recommended by Alpesh offers clear guidelines on when to sell and when to hold, which has been instrumental. Alpesh's mentorship is exceptional. He has an uncanny ability to calm nerves, especially during market turbulence. His straightforward approach—matching investments to one's risk profile and providing rules for when to sell—is priceless. I must admit, I would have seen better profits in 2024 had I adhered strictly to the rules instead of letting emotions dictate my decisions. Holding onto losses too long or selling prematurely out of fear has been a learning curve for me. Overall, I am pleased with the returns since joining GIP. This journey has highlighted my biggest challenge: managing emotions. I tend to worry about losing profits when in the green and am reluctant to sell at a loss, fearing it will crystallize the loss. However, this experience has taught me valuable lessons about emotional discipline in investing. I also want to emphasize that this isn't a get-rich-quick programme. Alpesh has done most of the work in identifying potential stocks based on the GIP stock selection criteria, but you still need to identify the stocks that fit your risk profile. There’s no silver bullet, but the programme provides a selection of investments, ongoing support, and one-to-one mentoring when required. Alpesh also offers a list of ETFs, which I find helpful. My portfolio is now balanced with 50% in ETFs and 50% in individual stocks. My main objective in joining GIP was to gain experience in picking individual stocks, and I feel I am gradually developing a better understanding of the types of stocks that align with my investment style. In summary, Alpesh Patel's GIP has been an educational and transformative experience for me. It has equipped me with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to navigate the market more effectively.

I started to follow Alpesh approximately 18 months ago on YouTube. This was a completely new direction for me as I had always been too busy working and earning money to worry about my pension and what was happening to it, and always trusted my pension providers from my workplace pensions scheme to do this for me. How wrong was I! I am a complete novice in regards to stocks and shares. 18 months ago I started to invest very small amounts of money into company's I knew and could follow on Alpesh's weekly webinar. Over the next few months the gains were small but consistent and the information I received from the webinars regarding pension performance and what it could or should be making was a shock. This got me thinking about my own works provided pension with Legal & General and statements showed me I had achieved a 20% rise in my pension over a 10 year period. To say the results were appalling was an understatement. In the first 6 months following Alpesh I had gained somewhere around 8% with very small amounts of money. The interest alone on my account was paying 5.1% so even transferring my money into a savings account I could out perform L&G. So after many days of should I /shouldn't I, I decided it was time to take control myself and follow Alpesh as best as I could on his weekly webinars. I arranged for my pension to be transfered and purchased stocks. This was the scariest thing I have ever had to do with my life. The next few months we're interesting, some good and some not so, but I was learning and still am. I follow Alpesh every week trying to make sure I am still heading in the right direction and haven't missed anything vital. The information he provides is clear and easy to understand even for a complete novice like myself. I am writing this as it's just been 1 year since I invested my pension lump sum and I am amazed how it gone. In 12 months I have seen a 30% increase in my portfolio. This is amazing for me and my family and I cannot thank Alpesh enough for providing all the information you need to sack your pension provider and open accounts to manage your own funds. I have other family members who were also in the same position with poor performing pensions who have taken steps to control there own pensions. I also I have 2 sons who have started to invest themselves. I've been receiving Alpesh's emails for a while but only started viewing the content recently after procrastinating on doing a portfolio review for a long time. The content has blown me away and opened my eyes to the poor returns I have been experiencing over a numbers of years in my pension and ISA. I wish I had known this 20 years ago! No more head in the sand and hoping things will be fine. Time to sort my finances out!

I joined the Great Investment Program in 2020 and on Alpesh’s teachings I completely transformed my portfolio from holding UK stocks to higher growth US stocks. From January 2021 to date my portfolio has risen by 70% which is amazing as previously my portfolio was growing by 5% on average a year. My only regret is that I didn’t completely listen to Alpesh and didn’t sell investments when they dropped a certain amount in the ‘2022 downfall’. If I had done that my growth figure would be a lot larger. His weekly updates have been revolutionary and I have learned to look at stocks on a technical basis too. Alpesh, I like to think I’m beginning to become a ‘better investor’ and that’s a lot to do with what I’ve learnt from you over the last few months. 3 months ago I had no idea what an ‘MACD’ was, got prices 15 mins after everyone else, invested in companies that I felt familiar with and was holding on to under performing stocks that had done well for me three years ago thinking ‘they will come back one day!’ Looking at the performance of my pension fund I can see why you have such a sceptical view of fund managers because whoever is running mine is ‘stealing a living’. I have asked for a pension forcast as I turn 55 in October. I receive a military pension already and it goes up at 55. I have 13 years in the NHS with Ambulance Service where I understand I can take it early and have asked for a pension forcast for when I turn 55. I have the forcast from the RAF (Military) and I am waiting for an update from those who deal with my NHS pension. I am unsure as to what in the way of files I can share to back this up.
