Eli’s resume review (and transformation) “express coaching” service is the best $149 I’ve spent this year. He reviewed my entire resume (top to tail, right there in Google Docs) and left me with dozens of actionable improvements. A lot of the improvements were as simple as “accept change”, and I had the whole set of changes applied to my resume in under one hour. I wouldn’t have been able to fix these problems given DAYS of my time, as my expertise is in software (not resumes). Before I met Eli, job hunting was a confusing and fruitless endeavour. I knew I had potential, but struggled to get my foot in the door. I felt like I tried everything, but nothing was sticking. I had applied to 30 roles, which took 10 hours. I had received a single reply - and nothing past that. I figured I needed real, professional guidance. So, I took a chance on Eli. His portfolio was impressive - he was good at selling himself. I figured that’s exactly what I needed. And I was right. Eli has his finger on the pulse of the recruiter’s mindset. His approach is structured, clear and effective. We overhauled my portfolio: resume and LinkedIn. The difference was quite shocking, truthfully. It exceeded my expectations. People were interested. I heard of Eli through a friend while searching for a job in tech in Melbourne and ended up buying his Resume Writing Handbook while preparing my CV. Coming from academia, I had no idea what tech recruiters in industry were looking for in a resumé.
