Site Engineer - Eastern Freeway BTA

I liked that the course enabled us to take the content away to learn in our own time, then go through it in the meetings.

The course content was well structured and easy to understand despite the how in depth the content went.

The most valuable part of this course is bring taught the steps of how to make a lift study and where to find the information.

I would recommend this to other engineers to enhance their understanding of cranes when they come across them on site.

Site Engineer at EBTA

I thoroughly enjoyed the approach of the course. Liam did an excellent job of blending theory with real-world applications, which made the learning process both engaging and relevant.

The interactive demonstrations and clear explanations helped reinforce key concepts effectively. Before taking this course, my understanding of cranes was fairly basic.

I now have a much deeper appreciation of how different crane types function, the importance of load charts, and the critical safety measures that need to be followed.

The course really opened my eyes to the complexities involved in crane operation and planning. I gained several valuable skills from the training, including how to properly read and interpret crane load charts, assess site conditions, and understand the mechanics behind crane stability and lifting capacity. The emphasis on safety protocols and risk management was particularly impactful.

The most important takeaway for me was how crucial it is to plan every lift carefully and to always prioritize safety. The course emphasized that even minor oversights can lead to serious consequences, and it gave me the tools to be much more proactive and confident in my decision-making on-site.

I would absolutely recommend Crane Class to others in my position. Whether you're new to the field or looking to refresh your knowledge, the course delivers practical, essential training that can help elevate both safety and performance in the workplace.

Very relevant content that helps instantly day to day. The course structure is very flexible allowing the content to be worked through around the busy site schedule.

Great course! Liam has put together a well structured course that closes many gaps and myths regarding cranes. Coming from the developer/client side of renewables, the content and discussions were just what I needed to make better informed decisions on my projects.

This course is definitely worth it. The self-paced study helps to get it done while not impacting your workload and helps to process the Information in your own time.

Understanding of safety in lifting and rigging was a really good refresher. Thorough knowledge of rigging and cranes functionality helps to counter the on-site difficulties to start with and makes the job smooth to execute on the grounds.

I would certainly recommend the course to people involved in delivery of the works and emphasize on practicing the knowledge in your role as much as you can.

I believe working with crane only gets more and more exciting as you know more.
