Is it just me, or is the real March madness this month the # of events going on? 🤣 Love to see it!
In one of his most recent posts, Jason Lemkin mentions events as one of 4 key sources for B2B marketing pipeline.
(Speaking of the marketing realm, I always send the deepest of respect for those in field and event marketing making these events happen).
Between Zendesk relate, HumanX, Enterprise Connect in Orlando this week, Support Driven Leadership Summit (where I’m headed tomorrow), Forrester B2B Summit here in Phoenix plus TheLoops own fireside chat with Mohan Achar this Thursday, it feels like pre-sales, post sales, marketing, you name the dept, and they are everywhere, tackling AI, automation, and the future of work!
What else are you attending/following/having FOMO about event wise this month?
Chili Piper’s Chilipalooza was the big one for me that I was bummed to miss!!
Will drop the link to the Fireside chat with Mohan Achar in the comments if you’re in Support/CX and want something to attend with no airport travel required or FOMO 😉

At Chili Piper's ChiliPalooza I heard lots of ways marketers use AI (repurposing, research, standardizing content). Anything that used to be a blank state → now they use AI to have a draft to work from.
It got me thinking about how at Navattic we can make a “blank state” moment that used to be frustrating, now delightful (of course with AI)
The #1 thing I hear from customers that is frustrating about building a demo is storyboarding their demo beforehand.
It’s the same as writing an outline for a paper. We all know it’s important for a good end product, but nothing is more frustrating than staring at a blank page trying to come up with something.
(Before I started the product marketing role I was so guilty of not storyboarding)
We heard most marketers were often reusing copy from their homepage or product landing pages when building demos. So why not just make it easier for them to reuse that?
I previously teased our AI Storyboard Generator in beta when showing off how I build demos. It is now live on the website for anyone to try out.
The prompt is also based on best practices from 28k+ demos analyzed in our State of the Interactive Product demo report.
If you want to see what an interactive demo script would look like for your website, head over to: lnkd.in/eE93TZFe
It’s 100% free and ungated.
Would love to hear what you think :)

Remember when marketing was just about branding and lead gen? Yeah, those days are long gone.
I’m attending Chilipalooza in the Arizona desert (an absolutely lovely event hosted by Chili Piper), and the conversations happening between marketing and sales leaders is making one thing abundantly clear—marketing is evolving fast.
It’s not just about technical skills, data fluency, creativity, storytelling, or even an obsessive customer focus anymore.
In the age of AI, we need a new kind of marketer—one who can architect, automate, and optimize the entire customer journey.
Enter the ✨GTM Engineer.✨
This isn’t just another buzzword. A GTM Engineer is a marketer who:
• Understands and uses AI to analyze data at a deep level—not just tracking performance but predicting behavior.
• Builds AI agents that optimize every touchpoint across marketing, sales, and customer success.
• Uses AI to learn what actually converts a customer? What prevents churn?
• Defines the total RELEVANT market (TRM)—not just the biggest accounts in your ICP, but the ones that are showing intent to buy and grow with you.
This role isn’t about replacing human intuition—it’s about augmenting it with AI-driven execution.
Think about it...
What if your campaigns could dynamically adapt in real-time based on live customer intent?
What if AI could continuously refine your ICP, surfacing prospects who are primed to buy?
What if your lead scoring wasn't static, but a living thing continually optimized by your customer profiles and signals?
So what does this mean for marketers today? We need to start thinking like engineers.
Learn data science fundamentals.
Learn how to build an AI agent.
Master signal-based modeling and predictive analytics.
Build systems, not just campaigns.
This shift isn’t coming—it’s already here. The best marketers won’t just execute strategies. They’ll engineer them.
What do you think? Are we ready for the era of the GTM Engineer?

Thanks to Chili Piper & the whole
#Chilipalooza crew for a tremendous time in Arizona. Gathering with some of the smartest GTM minds in the business, paired with sunshine, natural beauty and intentional relaxation—I couldn’t ask for a better, more thoughtful event.
Y’all nailed it.
Lorena Morales & Brianna Doe — you two are brilliant. Thanks for bringing humanness, humor & your best authentic selves to the desert & hanging out with me!

What happens when the one and only Alina Vandenberghe 🌶️ decides to host a GTM Summit for leaders to talk about it growing in the age of AI, including challenges, leadership, PLG, marketing, branding, and so much more.
Well, magic happens 🔥
Thank you for a wonderful event full of insights, sharing, fun, and laughter with literally the best of the best.
My takeaways:
1. Speaking to other leaders eased my AI FOMO. Sometimes it seems like myself and my company is behind when it comes to using AI but the reality is most are still figuring it out and doing various scattered things with it, but no huge groundbreaking moments yet… though early signs are there 😝
2. Figuring out where humans come in and where the machine takes over is probably the number one question on everyone’s mind. Use AI too early in the sales process and you might lose the customer, you might lose trust. Use it too late and you are not as efficient or productive as you need to be. So where’s the line 🤓
3. Got lots of ideas for new platforms I should potentially be using. Lots to experiment with 💪
4. Real events are better than virtual ones. The ability to look each other in the eyes and open up for real is unparalleled and heartwarming 💙
See you next time 🙏

The events landscape is evolving. While in-person conferences are making a comeback, there's a powerful shift toward something more meaningful.
Tired: events at hotel conference rooms, keynote focused, red carpet, 500-20000 attendees, lots and lots of sponsor booths.
Wired: small, on-purpose intimate events, non-traditional venues, no sponsor booths, a few or no keynotes, focus on attendee interactions.
My own Spryng conference is designed like this (next one coming up Mar 24-26 in Austin) but there are now others!
I'm a huge believer in this format. The connections I have made and the fun I have had are on another level.
Which is why I decided to go right away when Alina told me that Chili Piper putting on their version of the event called ChiliPalooza.
It's a GTM B2B retreat for executives in the Sonoran desert March 3-5, held at a luxury wellness resort.
I'm stoked about the small group discussions (and I'm moderating some).
It's an invite-only event, 130 people max. You can sign up for the waitlist here

Hope to run into you there.

Returning to in-person connections is effortless when brands like Chili Piper create events like Chilipalooza, which I had the opportunity to attend alongside my partner in ops, 🌱 Andre Proulx
What made this event stand out?
It wasn’t just about consuming content, I can do that from my phone anytime.
Instead, it prioritized real discussion, meaningful connection, and peer-driven learning.
- No presentations. No pitches. Just small breakouts with facilitated topics of our choice.
- Peers from across the GTM engine, suppliers, and partners, people we work with daily but rarely get to know as humans.
- A space where you couldn’t (and wouldn’t want to) slip away to other distractions, making every conversation more intentional.
I’ve attended so many conferences where connecting feels like an afterthought—where urban settings and packed agendas make it easy to drift in and out. But at Chilipalooza, the controlled invite size, curated moments, and immersive setting made it possible to meet more people than ever before.
I have deep respect for communities and event producers who break the mold, prioritize purpose over tradition, and create spaces where connection thrives.
Hats off to the entire ChiliPiper team and everyone I had the privilege of meeting, learning from, and truly connecting with.
This was time well spent.

Very excited to head to Arizona, thanks to the incredible Chili Piper team. I'll be moderating the session on Selling into Enterprise. Chili Piper and Twilio are two companies that recognize the value of bringing Marketing and Sales organizations together in order to build true messaging cohesion, and I'm thrilled to be a representative of the latter. If you're going to be there, please reach out.
