I really enjoyed the Innovation Academy and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to upskill and gain practical tools and resources for ensuring you are innovating whilst putting your target audience and their needs at the heart of your work. It was great to met, learn from and work alongside others in similar roles from across and the sector and fantastic to work on a live fundraising brief. My highlights definitely include coming together for the final workshop to delve into all things AI and pitch our winning idea!

I was hugely impressed by the way Flying Cars built up to the proposition through a well-constructed, well-argued and evidence-based approach. It gave me confidence that our creative will have much more resonance and traction with our target audience

Over the past few weeks I have had the pleasure of joining an amazing group of fundraisers from across the charity sector to dive into creative thinking, problem-solving, and new approaches to fundraising at the Innovation Academy with Flying Cars. The sessions were engaging, interactive, and packed with practical insights -plus, the friendly competition kept us all on our toes. Speaking of competition… I’m thrilled to say that the Green Team took home the WIN! 🏆 ! This week the British Heart Foundation have launched our new fundraising pilot...Strong Woman Challenge! This 31-day, home-based strength challenge is designed to get you moving, pumping, and feeling powerful from the comfort of your living room. No expensive gym equipment needed. This pilot is rooted in insight and was co-created with the audience of women aged 45+ from across the UK and we're so excited to see it live. We wanted to provide women with a tangible way to improve their heart health, build long term healthy habits and raise valuable funds for the BHF. I really enjoyed the Innovation Academy. It was a well thought out course covering lots of theory and technique, and working on a live brief meant we got to put what we were learning into practise as we went along. The team had also taken the time to hear about our main challenges with innovation and product development, and shared some top tips for overcoming these. It was a great opportunity to meet, work with and learn from other fundraisers across the sector and the in person day was a fab way to end the course.

The Innovation Academy was a fantastic experience. It deepened my theoretical understanding of innovation and product development, as well as introducing practical tools and tips that can be used within my current role. The final in-person masterclass was a great opportunity to bring everything together. Henry, Anne, Tanvi, Rachael and Amy are kind, supportive and encouraging - would highly recommend them and the Academy.

As Public Engagement Manager at the Children's Society our challenge was developing a new product that would attract passionate new supporters to the charity. Flying Cars helped us develop our own ideas using qualitative and quantitative supporter research to produce a winning idea that not only meets our audience's needs but will also help us meet our organisations goals. Flying Cars immediately understood our challenges and strengths as an organisation. The sessions were really engaging and it felt like they were structured well so we avoided group-think. We've all come away from the sessions feeling more confident and upskilled in innovation. My favourite part about working with Flying Cars is that the idea and product feel authentic to the charity and feel like we have created them ourselves.

The team at Flying Cars are so professional. The session was fun and interesting and ran incredibly smoothly. I felt really connected to the purpose of the day throughout, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the amount of research that went into the session, as that helped immensely with our idea generation. They run a tight ship, everything ran to schedule, and the team are incredibly engaging. Thank you for a fabulous session!

As a confirmed fundraising nerd, I was unbelievably excited in the lead-up to our first ever fundraising innovation workshop, and Flying Cars didn't disappoint! I have just heard that we generated 450+ insight-based ideas from our ideation day with Flying Cars. That's a lot of brain power and new, diverse perspectives coming from all corners of the International Rescue Committee UK; be it from staff in our programmes, analytics, digital, comms and of course our fundraisers. I am so excited to be one step closer to supercharging our fundraising in preparation for the future! I thoroughly recommend working with the team at Flying Cars - Henry Rowling, Anne Race and Tanvi Yardi. Can't wait to see what we learn in our testing and prototyping stage!

Flying Cars have a great approach to both innovation and to development, combining live work from our teams with original insight to teach fundamentals of product innovation while generating, usable new ideas for fundraising. It's been a joy to work with them - I've found the team so supportive and professional, and i'm sure we'll go on to do excellent work together in the future.

We worked with Anne and Henry to develop a new fundraising product at the charity where I work. We ended up with one idea that we’re confident will be a winner, two ideas to explore further, and lots of audience insight that will be useful across the charity. We also wanted to upskill staff in innovation – throughout the process, Anne and Henry worked with a core team to give us the confidence, knowledge and tools we need for the future. I would highly recommend working with Flying Cars.

I found the innovation training so helpful. It was well-rounded and gave me lots to think about. The Flying Cars team are supportive, asking you questions to help bring out answers you wouldn't have got on your own. Would highly recommend.
