Another successful project with our partner, Weis Markets, delivered in Middletown, Delaware! This 65,000 square foot building is Weis' first ground-up construction in Delaware, serving as the anchor for the Bayberry Town Center commercial development. Unique features include a stained, wooden canopy system, expansive ceiling space and clerestory window to capture natural lighting throughout the store. 💡Large projects make headlines, small projects make communities. 💡West Valley residents have strong buying power - but it looks a little different that East Valley spending ($90k Jaguar vs $90k F350). 💡There is a major need for high-end retail and hospitality in the West Valley, and in the city of Surprise specifically. They need about 4 million MORE square feet of retail to meet current demand. 💡 Glendale has one of the highest average household incomes in the state at ~$195k/year...and they want to spend it! Did you know that the Goodyear Harkins is #1 in attendance nationally for the Harkins brand? Or that the Goodyear BJ's Brewhouse smashed national opening weekend attendance records? These were a few of many insights that stuck with me from yesterday's West Valley Growth Summit, hosted by the Phoenix Business Journal at the Tuscany Falls Golf Course. The panel consisted of economic development leaders from all of the major West Valley cities: Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, Buckeye, Glendale, and Avondale. All eyes are on the West Valley for development in the coming years as it's quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with! As 2024 comes to an end I wanted to take a moment to reminisce over some of the construction accomplishments achieved over this past year in our DMV and Southeast US markets. - We opened our 3rd location in Washington, DC in the Cathedral Heights neighborhood. 🏛️ - We opened our latest Atlanta area store in Cumming, GA. 🍑 - We began construction of our Flagship West Midtown Atlanta location as anchor retail tenant for Interlock Tower. 🍑 These projects wouldn’t be successful without the many external and internal parties we work with to design, build, and open our stores enabling us to offer the best quality products for the lowest prices to our customers.
