Jess Werner came to our school to help, with a focus on teacher well-being. She was able to sit down with our team multiple times and talk to us about the issues we have been having. It was so nice to have someone confirm the work we were already doing, and provide suggestions for new things to try. Jess gave us access to some resources on executive functioning that have been very helpful. We look forward to working with her more in the future!

This professional development served as a helpful reminder of how small, intentional practices can make a significant difference for students with ADHD. The session reaffirmed the importance of viewing ADHD through each individual student's strengths. The presenter presented the information in a clear and concise manner that made it simple to walk away with many reminders and strategies to implement almost immediately. I am definitely looking forward to utilizing Northshore Learning as a resource for future professional developments.

I recently sat in on the webinar Brains in Motion: Understanding and Supporting Learners with ADHD. I found the presenter to be clear and concise. She defined strengths of our ADHD learners and addressed real challenges. She offered practical and useful tips for the Tier I setting. Our school chose to host a parent session with Dr. Sherryse Corrow on the topic of "productive stress vs. toxic stress" and it was a real eye opener. The advice used was entirely research-based, well explained and thorough. I was impressed with the fact that Sherryse used plenty of research pertaining to our South Korean environment; we had had a couple of chats before the parent session and it was clear that the talk was specifically designed for our context. Parents were very engaged, impressed and still talk about the session.

We hired Northshore to work with a few teachers who needed coaching for different reasons. Their instructional coaches were consistent and tailored their coaching to what each individual needed. I have seen tremendous growth this year in both of the teachers who were mentored. I thank Northshore for helping these teachers grow in their profession and confidence.

I first connected with Dr. Jess from Northshore Learning through LinkedIn, and from the very beginning, I admired her collaborative spirit and openness to share ideas. Recently, she delivered an online professional development session at Footprints on the Zones of Regulation, and it was truly outstanding. Our school is in Cambodia, so the PD was online and it was incredible. Dr. Jess made the session highly interactive and engaging, with our teachers actively participating from start to finish. I moved into the role of principal with only a year of assistant principal under my belt, and I was grateful for this coaching opportunity to support my transition. Katie Clarke was the perfect person to work with. We had contact the previous year, as she had worked with teachers at the school. It felt comfortable and easy to work with her. Dr. Clarke assisted our high school department chairs in performing classroom observations of their department members. She first did a workshop with them to teach and explain observation purpose and best practices. She then co-observed teachers with the department chair and did follow up conversations with the teacher and the department chair. The experience was rich and informative. The faculty involved felt it to be a very rewarding and important professional development experience.
