It is providing a strong basics of knowledge and vocabulary that will help a lot any professional to better understand and work with other web professionals. But also and above all to better understand and satisfy user's expectations regarding the websites and applications we're building for them in the first place, whatever we're a developper, a designer, a content writer, a project manager… This certification provides the keys to build better web products for and with everyone!

Over the years, programming has been democratised: It's much easier to build things, but, how about building the legal thing, the honest thing, the not-confusing thing, or the accessible thing? I wonder how much of my day is spent wrestling with ill-thought-through IT systems that don't care enough about the end-user? Opquasts’ certification for web quality is all about de-risking the user experience and building user trust in your digital products and your brand.

The course itself is well structured and easy to follow, you aren’t required to have previous knowledge of the topics to understand all the valuable information you are learning about. And, the multiple-choice quizzes and mock exams are a great way to reenforce your learning of each module as you go. I am recommending this training to my technology, business development, and strategic teams because I believe the web quality assurance standards need to be embedded in our foundational approach.

This course really makes you think about how to be more inclusive to people with different requirements who browse the internet regularly. There are some things included in this course which aren’t normalised enough in society to be common sense yet. I look forward to fully completing the exam for Opquast and improving my knowledge and strongly believe in their mission, as well as appreciate their ethic. One thing that struck out to me from the start was how much they insist in their course on prioritising the user experience and building long term trust vs prioritising quick profits, an insight that many businesses lack these days! All in all, the course was easy to understand, pleasant, and I feel like I’ve learned a lot from it.

As a marketing professional, it’s important for me that everyone can access and understand the message I’m trying to convey. Opquast really helped me develop that pragmatic mindset of trying to be as inclusive as possible. The topics taught in the certification are so diverse that I started referring to Opquast rules on an almost everyday basis.
