As an aged geek, I spend hours playing with the tech but never quite get around to doing anything useful with it. After creating a channel for each of my projects, I immediately saw that some of the projects were undoable, so I've trimmed them down to something realistic. I’ve been looking for an ultimate productivity app/ template to achieve organization in my personal, studies, and work life. I love using Calendar to remind me with everything that will happen in a day, but I also like to take notes, write daily journals, research stuffs for work, and write reviews or insights on a book I am reading currently. I think Thomas Frank has created a new software out of Notion! Seriously Thomas is a genius, he has thought of the system at a very micro level. I think that the principles of Notion that he has used are brilliant.

I had a decent work space using the PARA concept, Objectives, Master Data bases, relations, roll ups, etc. I neglected to build out templates though. And the Resource / Area was a mess. I like staying physically organized and neat, I don’t like messes. But I always had a hard time staying digitally organized. I have been a GTD user for 2 decades, and have been through a long list of online systems to try to implement it in a meaningful way. They all have limitation and I always had to tweak each system and find different work arounds. I have downloaded and sometimes purchased a few templates for Notion since I recently got it, but I have to say that Thomas Frank's "Ultimate Brain" is the most comprehensive and creative. I don't know how to use a lot of it, but his tutorials have been extremely helpful. A great deal of thought and work went into the creation of this template, Thank you, Thomas!

As a college student, it can get really easy to forget assignments, loose class notes, and overall get overwhelmed by school. But by using Ultimate Brain, I have been able to stay ahead of assignments and keep all my class notes together in one place! I definitely would be lost and swamped, without this incredible tool! If you are like me and wish to be more organized in life, definitely consider picking up what Thomas Frank has spent so much time developing and watch your life change around!

I have been using various note taking and task management apps over the years but never consolidated everything into one place. The Ultimate Brain is helping me to consolidate and structure all my notes and interests into one place. I am also able to mix personal and professional to-do actions to really manage my day.

Ultimate Brain has decreased my stress levels by about a hundred percent. I'm juggling a full-time data science/statistics degree, parenting, research projects and community development projects, as well as the very early stages of a start-up, and until I started using Ultimate Brain I always carried that awful feeling that something was slipping through the cracks. Never again! Now, I always know exactly what's on my plate, when its due, and what the next steps are, so I can balance productivity and leisure time without a shadow looming over me. Ultimate Brain is perfect for managing my university workload, and it's task manager makes staying on track easy. But its benefits go far beyond task management. I've slightly tweaked the Notes database to create a custom Note type called "References", making Notion/Ultimate Brain my bibliography management tool. I've made templates for assignments that pull in relevant resources, default tasks, and a Kanban board for ideation and planning (which works much better than the wall full of post-it notes I used to use!). I can share Task pages to collaborate for group tasks. The relations between Projects, Tasks, and Notes mean that my class notes are always where I need them, and Notion's code snippet and LaTeX blocks have allowed me to build a repository of useful formulas, R and Python scripts. I'm not sure how I functioned before I started using Ultimate Brain. It's shaping up to be the best investment I've made in years.

I’ve been looking for an ultimate productivity app/ template to achieve organization in my personal, studies, and work life. I love using Calendar to remind me with everything that will happen in a day, but I also like to take notes, write daily journals, research stuffs for work, and write reviews or insights on a book I am reading currently. I can do all these with the Ultimate Brain and I am absolutely getting a lot of things done! I really like the recurring tasks and the subtasks feature! As a nurse leader and a student, I tend to get overloaded with informations, meetings, and deadlines! Ultimate brain have really helped me a lot!

While I'm confident I could have pieced together a workable system at some point, I'm glad I made the decision to purchase Ultimate Brain. It has everything I need, plus more. I've added the P.A.R.A. method into my workflow, and I've used the My Day view more than I anticipated. The book tracker is a fun bonus, particularly for my non-fiction reading. I am grateful for this well-thought-out and expertly crafted comprehensive tool.

I think Thomas Frank has created a new software out of Notion! Seriously Thomas is a genius, he has thought of the system at a very micro level. I think that the principles of Notion that he has used are brilliant.

I had a decent work space using the PARA concept, Objectives, Master Data bases, relations, roll ups, etc. I neglected to build out templates though. And the Resource / Area was a mess. I've watched Thomas Frank videos in the past and he always impresses with the detail and thoroughness. I figured why not give Ultimate Brain a try to see if I can get to the next level. The system is solid. For me, it seems about right. I've invested time going through the system (which is needed to learn it). Thumbs up!

Of all the "Second Brain" templates I've heard of, Thomas J Frank's is the best and most comprehensive. It not only incorporates Tiago Forte's tools, but also GTD and other possibilities. He gives you a solved job that would take you at least months to build by yourself. Also, nowhere are you going to find so much support to put this tool at your service.

I like staying physically organized and neat, I don’t like messes. But I always had a hard time staying digitally organized. My projects, to do lists, and notes always ended up in different places and it KINDA worked. But it always bugged me that my digital life was less organized than my home. Once I saw Thomas’s big Ultimate Brain explanation video I realized this could finally be the answer I was looking for! And it is! So far it’s been very easy to implement after watching his videos. Now all of my copious random notes, bookmarks, to do lists, and projects are all organized and in the same location for the first time ever. And it feels Devine. I've known for years that Notion was probably the tool that I'd always wanted to manage my life, but as for figuring it out? As much experience as I have picking up tech tools and productivity hacks, I just couldn't seem to trounce the learning curve. Having a pre-built OS was exactly what I needed. And more than that, it really was the explanations that came with it. Understanding the why behind the design has me beginning to think about how to customize the template for my own needs.

I discovered notion years when I was looking a tool where I could manage my tasks, my notes at the same place. The freedom notion gives you is also terrifying when you start from scratch. The template ultimate brain was just the template I was looking for. You have a ton of tutorial to learn how to use it and after that your experience is so satisfying. Now this is a great set of templates! Huge fan of life optimization and always looking for improvements, this template set is worth its price ten-fold. Good investment if you value your time, your potential and progress as a successful human being :)

I have been a GTD user for 2 decades, and have been through a long list of online systems to try to implement it in a meaningful way. They all have limitation and I always had to tweak each system and find different work arounds. With Notions vast flexibility I finally feel I have found a home and finding Frank's template has been a game changer. I can do everything I want and I can even tweak it in any way I want, should I have the need. I trust this will be the last system I will need. Have found my home.

I just got UB, and have been importing my notes, projects, tasks into it ever since. This thing is definitely the most powerful template I've come across and the flexibility of it is top notch. I'm definitely more of the PARA design for my personal and work life, but I plan to incorporate the GTD portion of it more into my workflow.
