Unreal University has been one of the best purchases of my career. I’ve been a 3D artist for just over 8 years now but have started taking the steps to make my own game. I’m a 3d modeler that has been wanting to break into unreal engine for a very long time. When I heard about unreal university I thought I’d give it a shot. After taking the course, I was able to add unreal engine to my workflow and even have plans to start my own project.

Unreal Engine can be a complex software to master. I feel that when you are first starting out, if you are trying to learn it on your own, you will run into a bit of trouble and possibly become discouraged. I feel that when it comes to courses I like to choose a course that corresponds to a game idea that I have. The course Learn How To Make A Top Down Shooter Game In Unreal Engine helped me to understand the basics of level design and game play that I was missing out on when trying to complete the project by myself. I was able to learn from the course and had a complete project that I could then modify to my liking. The course ultimately gave me the confidence I needed to continue.

Its very hard to find good, complete and updated tutorials on UE online. The Unreal University has all this and more. The tutorials are straightforward a well explained. Worth the time and money invested.

Amazing course and the instructor covers a lot of the important parts of the course very well. He is also reachable from the Q&A area and seems to answer most questions fast within 24-48 hours at the longest. think you will not be disappointed and may learn a few things here and there. Especially if you are a new game developer learning like myself.
