From a cost effectiveness perspective it has no equal. Where else are you getting a 15” HMI with remote access and VPN for less than $2000?

I've been a 25+ year MapleSystems user for HMIs which is basically Weintek hardware under the hood. But recently I've been super impressed with the cMT-FHDX-820 headless HMI unit.
I've installed about 18 of them in the last two years and there is really nothing that you can think of connectivity wise that this unit can not handle. The most impressive was one unit connecting to 11 PLCs with about a couple thousand tags and booting up in less than 10 seconds...to my last project of needing to dump logging data into an SQL database that was so super easy.
These cMT-FHDX-820 are "MrPLC" approved for the price point. Very well done Weintek!

I've been using these products for years. Many that I've worked on were in place since the '90s or even '80s. No issues and great customer service!

The experience with Weintek's customer service team is extremely excellent. Their response time is super fast, always providing a quick and reliable solution. We provide up-to-date information on working with the different software and hardware components of the products they offer. It's truly one of the best services you'll receive from suppliers and manufacturers of HMIs and other components.

Few screen shots of a Weintek cmtx HMI I have just done to replace an old schneider HMI that had lost its touch. also went from Modbus RS485 to TCP/IP. A much cleaner layout then before and even put together a small user manual, which I will put on the HMI using the bult-in pdf viewer. #Weintek

Today we've been tinkering with something that I find especially useful in an industrial environment: user access in a Weintek HMI using RFID tags. Nothing particularly "futuristic", but very well resolved. Instead of relying on usernames and passwords (which we all know how they end up in the plant...), each operator identifies themselves by bringing their RFID key fob close to the reader. The HMI recognizes the tag and directly applies its permission level. Simple, fast and, above all, practical. On a technical level, the interesting thing is how it integrates with the user management of the system itself. You can map each tag ID to a user, define roles and limit critical actions (recipes, parameters, maintenance...) without the need for external development. On a day-to-day basis, this translates into: – Fewer steps for the operator – More real control over who accesses what – Better traceability of actions – And fewer "shared passwords" circulating around the plant I have recorded a short video where you can see the real operation, without filters. So you can see how simple it is to implement and how well it can fit into a real application. If you work with HMIs or are thinking of improving access control in your equipment, I think it can give you some ideas.

Two HMIs Somatic and WeinTek connected to one PLC via OPC UA and S7 Protocol. This can be implemented with many UI/HMI throughout the facility.

Today was the day to review and make the last software and hardware adjustments in another project that will soon be delivered to the customer. The system was developed with integration between Siemens S7-1500 PLC (CPU 1515-2 PN), Weintek HMI and Danfoss FC 300 frequency inverters, ensuring robustness and reliability in operation. For development and commissioning, the following were used: • TIA Portal V20 (Siemens) • EasyBuilder Pro (Weintek) • MCT10 (Danfoss) Another completed project with a focus on performance, integration and quality.

Proud to share my recent project at Riaz Industries Ltd, where I led the commissioning and synchronization of a PV Diesel plant. This complex project involved blending automation and energy management to optimize power generation from solar, generator, and grid sources. Key Achievements: - Installed Weintek HMI to control and synchronize 550kW solar inverters (Inverex 110kW x 5=550KW), 500kW generator, and grid with 149kW net metering load, ensuring seamless transitions. - Integrated energy analyzer for real-time data capture and display on HMI, enabling comprehensive monitoring and load management. - Successfully synchronized power inputs, maximizing efficiency across the PV diesel plant. Gratified to have advanced my programming and technical skills in industrial automation and energy management.

Stepping into the world of HMI for the first time! 🛠️ This week, I took on a new challenge: integrating a Weintek HMI touch screen into my control system. Despite it being my first time working with this hardware, I managed to get it fully operational in just 2 days. Key Progress: • Seamless Communication: Established Modbus TCP connectivity through a network switch. • Data Visualization: Successfully mapped 22 sensor values and 8 actuator settings for real-time monitoring. • Mobile Integration: Topped it off this afternoon by implementing Bluetooth on the controller board, enabling full system access via smartphones and tablets. I'm excited about how quickly this interface came together. It’s amazing to see how modern HMI tools can streamline industrial workflows when you dive right in!

🔧 From Semi-Automatic to Fully Automated – Feed Production System Upgrade
Proud to share a recent project delivered by our team in an animal feed production facility (poultry, cattle, and goat nutrition lines). The objective was clear: Replace an unstable and faulty control system with a reliable, precise, and fully automated solution. The existing process was running in semi-automatic mode with recurring dosing inaccuracies from multiple silos and limited diagnostic visibility. This was directly impacting efficiency and maintenance response time. Our approach focused on: ▪ Rebuilding the entire control logic on a Siemens S7-1200 PLC ▪ Developing a structured and intuitive interface using a Weintek HMI ▪ Converting the system from semi-automatic to fully automatic operation ▪ Improving dosing precision to near-optimal accuracy ▪ Implementing clear alarm handling and diagnostic feedback for faster troubleshooting The result: ✔ Smoother production cycles ✔ Significantly improved dosing precision ✔ Better operator visibility ✔ Faster maintenance intervention ✔ A more reliable and scalable system Projects like this highlight how structured automation and well-designed control philosophy can transform performance Proud to be part of a team that focuses on reliability, precision, and continuous improvement.
