Lucy’s training is really super encouraging. It brings a lot of positivity and, above all, strengthens self-confidence. She suggests different steps, like starting by drawing areolas, which helps you understand that there are different textures and that each areola is unique. Then there is 1 to 1 training, where we work directly with her. We are lucky to be able to come back after the first session to see the result once the healing is complete, before starting the second session. It's really great. In addition, Lucy offers a mini-book with 7 tips on how to approach this profession, emphasizing the importance of creating a climate of trust for people who need this breast areola reconstruction service. , so that they feel fully reassured by the results. It offers a truly comprehensive range of training. Lucie is also always available to answer doubts and questions, and she always gives good advice. I can only recommend it, it is THE training to follow for all those who want to specialize in the reconstruction of breast areolas.

Had an amazing Zoom class, for an introduction to Areola reconstruction and I'm so excited, I'm a pmu artist, and this method is not Pmu, Its big needle groupings and way different angle 45 instead of 90 !. I'm hoping to get to get to Brighton in the new year and have some hands on training (if she'll have me) but she's an inspiring young woman, and I feel I could learn a lot from her.

I had my nipple removed as part of a mastectomy and implant reconstruction a few years ago.  I spoke to my surgeon about nipple tattoos at the time and she said they were a great idea but that she was unable to recommend anyone local. This summer, I saw a post on a local Facebook group sharing Lucy’s call out for models. I was nervous about contacting someone through Facebook but I looked at Lucy's tattoo and Areola Academy websites and the final results looked amazing. From the first contact Lucy was warm, encouraging and answered my (many) questions about the process and what to expect.  As a Black woman I was particularly concerned about getting a tattoo that matched my skin tone but was reassured that she had expertise in a range of skin tones and cancer treatments.  My skin was quite delicate due to radiotherapy so the initial consultation was very in-depth and Lucy and the trainee Kirsty C were mindful of any skin reaction during the initial session.  My trainee Kirsty was clearly a skilled and talented tattooist who did an amazing job.  I was nervous about how much input Lucy would have in the training session but she was v hands on, providing advice, guidance and reassurance to us both. The tattoo looked amazing after the first session and healed really well and the second session added details which have made it look really life-like. I was ok with my post-surgery body but the day after my first session I caught sight of the tattoo and it really made me feel whole. I hadn’t fully processed how much the surgery had changed me until then and it’s been a real gift to have such a wonderful reconstruction. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Lucy and her trainees to anyone.

Following a mastectomy 9 years ago I was left with no nipple until I had a reconstruction last year. The final piece was to get it tattooed. I had seen Lucy’s work previously and noticed she was requiring a model. I jumped at the chance. Throughout each stage Lucy put me at ease and the process was very smooth. Two sessions with very little discomfort during or afterwards. The students were very considerate and I felt totally at ease. The results are absolutely amazing and the tattoo is so realistic. I can’t thank Lucy enough and I finally feel normal again 😀

After having nipples for 49yrs and then going to non due to double mastectomy was hard for me, all I saw was scars. Meeting Lucy for the 1st time she made me feel at total ease, talked me through everything and answered any questions I asked, from get go she made sure I was ok. I can't thank this wonderfully talented woman enough for tattooing my nipples back on and giving me back my confidence, now I don't see scars I see nipples, I will definitely be going topless on my next holiday, I'm overwhelmed with how real they look and don't mind showing everyone them lol Seriously give this lady a message men and women if yr wanting your nipples tattooing back on Thank you again Lucy this means so much to me xxx ❤️

Wow!! I am ten years post double mastectomy. I decided that after ten years of denial that I did want my nipples tattooing. I saw my surgeon who said she could do it BUT she knew someone way better. She showed me her work in comparison and gave me Lucy's details. The communication was exceptional and I chose to be a model to help other artists, all under Lucy's guidance. I was nervous but was soon put at ease by her professional and calm nature, as well as that of the tattoo artist I was modelling for. I was talked through every detail, every step and it was the easiest appointment ever. I was involved every step of the way and I can not beleive the results. They were way beyond my expectations. I was speechless and emotional with the results and I cannot thank them both enough. To model and help others has been a privilege and I can not recommend them enough!!
