To say that working with Jenny has been a game-changer is an understatement. My biggest financial goal was to sell an investment property and take time off from my job to start a business doing something I’m passionate about. It has been almost 2 years since I started working with Jenny. I sold the property within the first 4 months. During that time Jenny walked me thru the entire investment process explaining everything along the way. I graduated from my training program this past June and, while I’m still building it, my small business is now established. I still have enough money remaining to take additional time off, invest in my business, and/or use as a down payment for another property. My biggest surprise working with Jenny is that, after everything I’ve achieved, all the time I’ve been able to take off, and the unexpected expenses that have come up, I still have an impressive amount of funds left.

After interviewing several planners, I chose Chisholm because Jenny seemed the most capable of helping me with a sound financial plan from a financial and legal point of view. Jenny has been fantastic. She took the time to understand my current situation (which involved divorce and real estate and college costs) and needs for the future and built a complete plan for me and quickly updated it with changes I had. She is also incredibly responsive and gets back to me whenever I have any question. She is also a licensed broker and I decided to have her manage part of my portfolio (which she does through Woodbury and which includes free ongoing financial planning). I feel like my money is actively managed and I like the quarterly check-ins as they help to keep me on task - and she reaches out to schedule them, it's not just a notice on my dashboard like I have with Fidelity. My wife and I were pondering retirement in the next year and although we are fairly financially savvy, we realized that we needed some professional advise as there are so many factors to consider. During the time that she was preparing our investment plan we were in the process of making some important financial decisions. Jenny advised us on the sale of real estate and stock, reducing our tax liability and saving us a substantial amount.The financial plan Jenny prepared for us is extremely comprehensive. She utilizes very sophisticated, but easy to understand, analytics and metrics. She assessed my defined compensation pension, our 401Ks and 457, investment accounts and real estate holdings. Jenny's plan addressed our current retirement projections, including a year-by-year strategy of which assets we will access during retirement and a recommendation of when to file for Social Security.
