Before I started the program I struggled with knowing exactly how to manage my protein and macro intake and was stuck in a phase of not out of shape but not in as good of shape as I wanted to be. The program helped educate me a ton on what to eat, how to eat, and when to eat it. I noticed some pretty big differences in how I felt and looked. The best thing for me about the program was how much knowledge I gained. I felt like I didn’t have to think as much about the decisions I was making with my diet because I had so much more information from this. I started working with Chris as a one on one client at the end of January 2024. Struggled for years with stubborn extra weight and bad eating habits. Tried multiple diets over the years and managed to lose weight following them, but ultimately would put it back on after growing tired of the restrictive eating and reverting back to my old ways. I reached out to Chris after I went to the ER and ultimately had my gallbladder removed. The operating doctor said my diet needed to change asap and especially needed to remove processed foods. I was struggling with finding ways to automate my diet and stick to a plan. I often found myself ordering out because I didn't have anything prepared to eat and dint have a plan. I also had specific goals I wanted to reach and lose body fat / weight while maintaining muscle. Before working with Chris, I had tried everything to lose weight, incorporate “healthy” choices & stay consistent while doing so… Sadly, nothing ever stuck. Working with Chris was one of the best decisions I ever made for my health. Here's why: In 2022, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis - a chronic inflammation of the gut. I heard people had managed their symptoms with a carnivore diet. But I didn't want to go carnivore - I live in the Mediterranean and love life and food. So I signed up with Chris to help me design a nutrition plan that would heal my gut. After 3 months, every single symptom was gone. My digestion was normal again, with zero blood or mucus. My blood test results were excellent. And a colonoscopy confirmed that my colon ulcerations had healed. Chris has fundamentally altered my relationship with food and helped me understand how to eat and live well. To this day, nearly two years later, whenever I sense myself getting off balance, I return to Chris' meal plan and guidance. I've learned so much from Chris. Consistency has been one of my biggest struggles. I had a tendency to look ahead and be like well I have this event or this trip or whatever and use that as an excuse to not take care of myself or workout. It was always I’ll start after this or that. Chris’ program helped to shift my mindset to take it day by day and mostly to be prepared. So if I have a work trip, vacation, friend outing I know how to plan my day, still enjoy myself, and stay on track. So much so that I was gone for 9 days on a vacation/work trip and still managed to lose 1.5 lbs. That was while having a couple drinks each day and not eating perfectly. But that’s the beauty, you can live life and still be healthy. This program, or should I say way of life, did not take a lot of extra time at all. I love doing at least some lunch and a couple dinner preps for the week on Sundays and most of the time it’s crockpot or quick sautéing or grilling. It’s nice, easy, and efficient to have meals planned for the week. My favorite part was the ease of it. Once Chris provided my custom plan I found it very adaptable. Also the information is so unbelievably helpful. From understanding my target protein, to knowing which order to eat my food on my plate, to discovering carbs aren’t bad after all, it was all so informative. I chose Chris as my coach because I wanted a new way of eating that would help me not only lose weight, but keep it off. Previously, I had lost 50 pounds, but had put 30 of it back on because I was on a “program” that ended when I achieved my goal. What I so appreciate about Chris is that he teaches a simple, but sustainable way of eating that is easy to prepare and enjoyable to eat. I looked forward to the encouraging check-in calls where we collaborated on a workable plan and shared successes. I never felt deprived, and the program was easy to implement, despite being in a demanding health care career. Now, with a new way of approaching food, I am able to maintain my weight and to build muscle while keeping off the fat. An added bonus that I never expected is being able to enjoy a healthy gut and no longer using any medications for eczema. Highest possible recommendation!

I started working with Chris as a one on one client at the end of January 2024. Struggled for years with stubborn extra weight and bad eating habits. Tried multiple diets over the years and managed to lose weight following them, but ultimately would put it back on after growing tired of the restrictive eating and reverting back to my old ways. I wanted a permanent fix-a lifestyle change. Chris helped me through that process. During our weekly check ins, he taught me about my food and nutrients. Sourcing high quality ingredients and how to turn those into delicious/satiating meals. At the end of our three months working together I was down 26 pounds. 6 months in now and I have maintained that weight loss and added an extra 2 lbs on top of that. I’m seeing the physique changes I’ve wanted and added muscle, but more importantly I’m feeling better than I’ve ever felt in my adult life. More energy, better sleep, better mood, better workouts, better health markers (high blood pressure has resolved, improved fasting glucose). This process has really driven home the notion that food is medicine. Of course there are times when I eat out or go off plan, but working with Chris has taught me how to navigate those times and not completely go off the rails and lose all my progress. This is now my lifestyle-the permanent change I’ve been looking for. Im excited to see where I’ll be in a year, two years, etc. by maintaining this lifestyle. I found Chris on Twitter at a point when I was at a standstill with my weight and felt frustrated with calorie counting apps. I hoped that working with Chris would give me not only a meal plan, but the education I needed to really make a difference. This turned out to be exactly what happened--Chris has rewired my brain to look for the most protein-dense and nutrient-rich options. But furthermore, I *like* eating this way, and I like being able to cook delicious and nutritious meals for my family. I came to Chris trying to lose weight, but after I became pregnant a few weeks into our coaching together, he switched gears with me to accommodate my new needs and new goals. As a result, I gained the tools I needed for a healthy pregnancy and now a healthy postpartum period. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone feeling stuck and frustrated with their weight--Chris' recipes and meal plan made a healthy lifestyle feel possible again for me.

I thought I had a pretty good grasp on health before I met Chris, but after working with him I realized there were so many holes in the education I thought I had. Chris helped me bridge those gaps and continued to educate me on what true health looks like. I think that’s what makes him and his program so valuable. Not only does he give you everything you need in terms of meal preparation, planning, and simple, easy to follow recipes, he’s also an unbelievable teacher. He takes the time to give you the information you need to succeed and sets you up for a complete lifestyle change. The recipes and meal plans he provides are incredibly good, simple to follow, and very versatile. Working with Chris was one of the best investment I’ve ever made. I would recommend him to anyone!

I reached out to Chris after I went to the ER and ultimately had my gallbladder removed. The operating doctor said my diet needed to change asap and especially needed to remove processed foods. Found Chris on Twitter. He was a delight to work with and was accommodating to my dietary restrictions. The program was easy to follow and full of food and ideas. I’ve gotten more into cooking as a result. Definitely a lifestyle change for the better. It provides a baseline that you can build off of. I will definitely eat like this for the rest of my life. I’ve lost 40 lbs since working with Chris and have maintained that for close to a year. I would (and have) recommend working with Chris to anyone who’s interested in making sustainable changes to their lifestyle.
