We are impressed by the service we have received from Augusta in Blaine. We enjoyed meeting Liz on our first visit, who took a lot of time with us and explained the differences and applications of their products. Their office displays show representative samples of their products so you don't have to walk over acres of dusty grounds to examine them. Liz has a delightful personality and got our order to us promptly. We recently had some issues with soil we had delivered, and Liz quickly took the initiative to offer us a generous credit toward a future order of any product they have. Just in time, as we now have ordered rock! Augusta can also make same day deliveries. In addition, their delivery rate is the best we've found in the area.

This company is awesome. I originally learned about them with their sign ads around Whatcom county and decided to call. They were so prompt with getting someone out to my property after some of these winter wind storms brought down huge branches. They guy that came out was a delight and so friendly and answered all my (many) questions. The quote came that afternoon, and I really appreciate the use of videos they send with their emails. It's super engaging especially for people like me who's primary method of communication is through email. Really unique way to have outreach to the customers and make a valuable touch point. The two folks that came out to do the job were really personable and they did an absolutely beautiful job. They didn't miss a thing and they worked so hard to get our property looking so good. I had forgotten how nice it could look with how terrible this winter has been! It was a quick process, and I couldn't recommend this company enough. Augusta has mowed our family's vacation home in Birch Bay for over 16 months now. Today, I spoke with one of the crew members and was so pleased with his professionalism I decided to write this review. When we needed lawn care services I contacted 5 local companies and asked for bids. 2 of them never contacted us back. 2 of the other companies came by and got estimates back to us in about one weeks time. By then, we had already accepted Augusta's estimate and received our first mowing service. Within 2 hours of calling them for a quote their estimator showed up and was very knowledgeable and professional. He also advised us concerning our broken fence and gave us contact information for the fence companies he recommended. I got an email with a very nice video from the office ladies, explaining my estimates and giving me options for our lawn care package. I simply clicked "Accept" on their online proposal and 2 days later they mowed our lawn! Each month we receive our invoice online and can pay via credit card... which is so nice when we are out-of-town. Last Winter, after a storm, Augusta also did a complimentary property checkup while we were on vacation and notified us that the gutters were full and a couple branches were touching the roof, which they promptly gave us a quote for and took care of. Very impressed by this local business!

The workers seem nice and professional, but I had very poor customer service when I called and the quality of work was very poor. It seems clear to me that this business overworks and undervalues their employees to the point where work is haphazard. I heard from an employee that the payment system is unethical and verging on illegal. I discourage hiring this business and strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a job in lawn maintenance. These guys are great. My almost 1/3 acre yard was a total mess, having been neglected for about 3 years due to health. Overgrown grass, ivy, weeds, tree saplings, and brush was overwhelming. A two-person crew from Augusta Lawn Care cleared it all in 2-1/2 days. They went right to work each day as soon as they arrived and kept working until the time they left. They did an awesome job! I was so impressed that they will now be maintaining my yard year round. You won't go wrong choosing this company for your yard cleanup or yard maintenance.

Kirk was friendly, professional, and helpful when he came to assess our yard for an estimate. The landscaper worked hard for five hours and transformed our neglected front landscape into an attractive, manageable state. I appreciate it so much! One thing that could be improved upon is communication. I accepted the work proposal via email and it said that I would be contacted to schedule service. I was not contacted, but thankfully when I called I found out I had been scheduled. Next, I called at 4:00PM on our day of service to report no one had come yet and was told not to worry and he would come. He did not come that day and did not call or email to say so. He came the next day. Lastly, the link to pay does not show up in email properly and I have yet to get a reply back with the correct one. 💛Augusta does recurring maintenance on my Air BnBs. The team on this particular visit were Mitchell and Camo. It was THE BEST service property has had on the recurring maintenance. I made a colored coated map for Mowing/Weedwhacking, Spraying Weeds, and also the area to be blown. I was so excited to come and prepare for my next guest yesterday and see ALL of it completed according to the job notes and map. Mitchel and Camo took the time to look at the map, and take the time to do it right. I would love to have the Camo/Mitchell team back. Our guests bring their pets. Mitchell and Camo trimmed and got the pet area all cleaned up so the next little pets wouldn't get lost in the high grass. These touches are what makes a great guest experience. We had several services performed such as thatch (many cuts with grass pickup), massive amounts of weeds extracted from front of the house including around the pool in the rear, building a stone surround around the mailbox, rock installed to stop erosion, 3" of mulch in all landscape front/rear, bushes and trees shaped, mow and weed eating. They were prompt and reasonable for the amount of time spent. Also, to our surprise they blew off the debris several times during the process that took two days to complete. Due to the previous homeowner's lack of gutters, there was significant soil erosion along one side of the house and fence line. Kyle, our technician single handedly moved 1 ton of fill dirt then 1 ton of rock from the front of the house to the back yard to fill in the areas along the fence line. LEON IS THE MAN!!! He did a fantastic job mowing my lawn, edging, and weed eating. On top of it my side yard and back yard are in dire need of a French drain and both were completely soaked or underwater so instead of leaving tire marks from his lawnmower which most employees from other companies would do, he took the extra initiative and time to cut the whole back and side yard with his weed eater. And here’s the kicker, when I first met him he was cutting my next door neighbors yard. I approached him and asked him if I could pay him in cash directly and under the table without his company knowing so he could make the extra money. He did not hesitate for a split second to shoot my offer down! This is the type of professional with morals, character, and honesty any company would be beyond lucky to have. To be 100% honest whatever they’re paying this guy should be doubled or tripled and his company is lucky I don’t own a business right now because I would steal him in a heart beat! The world would truly be a better place if more people were like LEON! I hope you end up seeing this one day LEON because you should be commended for your work and Character. I will 1000% have repeat business with this company and possibly never cut my lawn again as long as this company keeps sending LEON back to my home! Great Service!! We ordered material at 4:00 pm in the afternoon and the material was delivered and we had it placed before dinner time at 6:00 pm.
