Went in for 1-1 sessions with Daniel to help me get back into shape for rock climbing. I stopped fitness training during COVID and was looking to get back into fitness better than before. Daniel helped me to focus on my movement patterns, specific exercises that would help me with climbing, and general fitness advice overall. He’s very attentive and certainly knowledgable and would recommend to anyone looking for a personal trainer or fitness coach.

Overall I’m very satisfied. I feel so much healthier. My family and friends were giving me a good comment. Because it’s only been a year since my labor, I worried a lot. But it’s good that I can control the level and challenge myself. One little concern I have is sometimes I don’t know if my exercise posture is correct, I bet my coach will tell me if I’m doing wrong.

For the past 6 weeks I’ve lost 10lbs with Daniel. My main goal was to lost belly fat and get lean in general. having irregular meals and eating junk foods at night had me lose my diet and felt no focus and energy during the day. My goal was to get lean so Daniel helped me rethink about nutritions And better choices of foods and habits. His workout program has been much of variety of moves every time, never the same and could not get bored (unlike you working out at the gym lifting the same move over and over). As a result my pants size went from 36 to 32inches in 6weeks! So happy with the result . It’s not just the weight I lost but feel more energy and get to play with my daughter after work :)

Dare Strength has helped me shift my perspective on fitness. I’m proud of what my body can do and not just what it looks like. It hasn’t been a drag to attend classes because I enjoy the people I get to work out with. Coach Daniel provides great structure and genuinely cares about our progress. I have developed more strength and endurance. I’m grateful I stumbled upon this gym and will continue to stick with it.

I came back to DARE almost a year ago. This time it was for different reasons. Of course I wanted to lose the pounds, but I also needed to get healthy. I had no energy and my body ached. I needed to start moving. I have never enjoyed working out and did not understand how people actually enjoyed it. Well guess what? I really enjoy working out now. I have so much more energy and can sleep much better! I actually stopped making excuses not to go and now it's just a part of my life. I need this! We have so much going on sometimes and just that hour of exercise makes such a huge difference on how we proceed with the day. What I love about DARE is the atmosphere. Everyone is just there to work out and Coach is right there making sure that if your knees hurt, he's ready to modify your workout and make sure we don't hurt ourselves. Thank you Coach Daniel!

I have been on and off with Coach Daniel since 2016, but I always find myself coming back here. Throughout those years, I have seen Dare Strength go through changes, but the gym has consistently been a supportive, judgment-free, and friendly place. Coach Daniel works to maintain this safe and comfortable environment. Although some people have come and gone, there is always a sense of community. I have seen my best results and reached my peak fitness at this gym. Even though I am not in the program with regular check-ins, Coach keeps me accountable, especially with my propensity to eat bad foods. Coach doesn't feel like a personal trainer; he teaches you so you have the knowledge of not only good workout programs and proper movements, but also a well-balanced lifestyle with good habits. I like working out here, and it makes me feel good about myself.

I started Dare Strength back in August of 2022 (AGAIN). I gained a lot of weight since Covid happened. So I decided to go back. It wasn't a tough decision for me because I know for sure going back to working out will make me feel better again about myself. It wasn't easy at first but things got a lot better each day. I started prepping again last month, I started fasting which I have never done before. With this combo I am able to lose the weight that I want and still going :). My energy level is way better. Also, what I like about going to Dare is having a small class, so Coach Daniel can focus on each individual. And while doing the workout Coach Daniel is able to let you know if you are doing a certain movement wrong and let you know how to fix them. Safety first :) I didn't have any objections or worries since I have been with Dare since 2014 when it was called Crossfit Dare. I have been going back to this place because I love the environment, the coaching and the members. Each individual has different level which doesn't matter. You can be vigorous, moderate or beginner. You will be treated the same :) I like the program at Dare because it challenges me. The workout is posted in Wodify each day and I get to set my mind ready for the workout. I personally don't like "GYM's" because too many people, most of the time not enough machine's/equipment's. Taking care of yourself is the best thing you can do for yourself and your family! “He who has health has hope and he who has hope has everything.”

I finally took the chance and joined Dare Strength. It took me a year to finally sign up and I wish I would have done it sooner. I haven’t been taking care of myself for years and I let myself go. The small group workouts was a good start for me and I actually prefer them than the big corporate gyms I’ve been to. I have lost weight, changed my eating habits, and my body feels stronger. Daniel works with you on your goals and he gave me the accountability that I needed. I’m not going back to my old ways and I know Dare Strength is going to help me be a healthier and stronger person. Thank you Daniel for not giving up on me when I wanted to!

This is the perfect place for anyone who appreciates a truly non-judgmental workout environment with a coach who is not only certified knowledgeable of all things health but who is super kind and genuinely interested in using his skills to support you through your workout journey. Welcoming to all levels, the workouts are diverse and very engaging. This is the only gym I have ever joined and consistently returned to. It has been a little over a year for me now and I have gotten healthier and stronger both physically and mentally all thanks to the coach and his gym. And it's only the beginning! Coach Daniel takes his time to get to know his members, hear our concerns and help us formulate goals and plans to achieve them. Whether you are looking to reinvent your health regimen with personalized workouts and advice or are just looking for a place to get your blood pumping a few times a week I would 100/10 recommend! There are people of all ages and levels and we are just all there to learn how to enjoy becoming the healthier, stronger versions of ourselves :)
