Jessie has always been a passionate driver of Software Development Manager excellence and community building at Aamazon. Her relentless pursuit of knowledge sharing and process improvement in order to help and upskill SDMs such as myself was greatly apprecaited and made Amazon a better place to work. Jessie was always involved with the right kind of initiatives, always focused, always engaged, always getting things done. Interacting with her was always a pleasure. I would welcome working with Jessie any time in the future, I would also recommend her to any potential employers - she is a superstar.

Jessie and I worked together for almost 6 years in Engineering Excellence at Amazon. In that time, she showed ongoing passion for developing technical leadership and created learning experiences for new and developing technical managers that they embraced whole heartedly. Jessie is passionate about helping people realize their potential, and the impact she had was felt across the company.

I had the pleasure of working with Jessie to launch Amazon’s LXDCon in 2019, a first-of-its-kind at Amazon – a conference to help raise the bar for learning experience design at Amazon. Jessie was, by far, the driving force behind the success of this conference and an invaluable leader throughout. She exhibited strong ownership—taking on multiple roles and responsibilities—and doing a lot of this without any of the support structure required of such a mammoth undertaking. She’s a force! She excelled at bringing new people and voices to the table, being inclusive, and ultimately, delivering major results for the learning community at large. In addition, Jessie always maintains a proactive, professional, and positive attitude. I now sit on the LXDCon 2021 board with Jessie and continue to value and admire her perspective, leadership, and drive to help others.

I hung these up in each of my classrooms and had really good conversations with my classes about how they see them happening in each class (and at home). Great.

Jessie is a big thinker with a big heart, always exploring new ways to improve well-being, accessibility and psychological safety, to make work and life more fulfilling for the thousands of tech managers that she supports at Amazon through her learning and community experiences. Jessie is an excellent coach, and I have personally benefited from her approach and perspectives as I navigated challenging times. I am excited to see what new initiatives Jessie will continue to spearhead as her ideas seed and bloom. It was a pleasure to manage Jessie at Amazon, and I recommend her as a great partner to work with.

Jessie is absolutely amazing. I got the opportunity to get to know her during pilots of new manager onboarding at Amazon. She not only deeply cares about the engineering community during the development of training programs but actively seeks out feedback on ways to improve.
