Not coming from the power station environment, I needed to gain an overlook of what this topic is about. Thanks for providing it. I would suggest to add a list with the acronyms and if possible a reference list.

Really basic introduction of IEC 61850 protocol and digital substation. I am ok with the course. It's excellent If you are looking for a basic knowledge for automation of substation.

Very well organized, top-down explanation of Digital Substations. I have only been a part of one Digital Substation implementation and I was amazed that there were no control cables - only ethernet and fiber. It made for a very clean installation. Thank you for this clear presentation.
