There just aren't enough good things to say about DJ Mojoe! He was very attentive to our requests and hopes for our wedding, exceeding them in every way possible. Our guests, weeks after the wedding, still, rave about how much they loved DJ Mojoe! From the very first meeting, it was clear he was far more organized than any other DJ we'd spoken with and even gave us some fantastic advice without knowing whether or not we'd even sign him for our wedding. He goes out of his way time and time again to make the day memorable, including making several suggestions on wedding coordination that we could consider trying out. He also customized our MC experience by having us (from groom to bride and vice versa) record special messages to be played before the first dance which made our day that much more personalized and unique. He also had us record messages to our parents right before our father/daughter dance and son/mother dance which brought tears. We were able to use his uplights to create a mood during the entire evening that matched the tempo of the music. Another amazing point was that he created a slideshow of our photos from all of our adventures that just played throughout the wedding and it added yet another personalized touch. Lastly, DJ Mojoe stood out exceptionally because he’s always working on honing his craft by attending workshops and making content to teach others how to improve as a DJ. We absolutely loved that he is a lifelong learner and our wedding day was a testament to how awesome and professional DJ Mojoe is!

Three Words: BEST DJ EVER!!!!!!!!! A couple of things define a Successful Wedding Reception – Food, Open Bar, Flowers/Décor, and MUSIC. I am a very particular and extremely picky person – so picky that I opted not to have a Wedding Planner and planned the entire Wedding by myself (“if you want something done well, do it yourself” type-of-mentality). I went through a whole vetting process before booking any of my Vendors and I am so glad that I picked Joe as our Wedding DJ! Out of everything that I had to plan, Music was by far the EASIEST portion! The entire process was seamless from beginning to end. Joe’s Planning App is super easy to use and convenient, as you can make all of your Wedding Song Selections in one place (Processional, Grand Entrance, First Dance, etc…). You can even add Song Requests (as many as you want) for the Dancing portion of the Reception, as well as add any Special Instructions or Notes. DJ MOJOE also has Spotify Playlists for every portion of the Wedding (Recessional, Cake Cutting, Garter Removal, etc..), which were super helpful when it came down to song selections. Once you’re done selecting everything, he goes over every detail with you and makes sure that all of your (and his) questions are answered. Communication-wise, Joe was very responsive and easy to reach. Anytime I had a question, I would text him and get an immediate response. DJ MOJOE also offers Lighting “services” and did our Uplights – those totally set the mood to our Reception Ballroom and tied in very well with our Wedding Theme and Décor. You can see for yourself in the pictures! Now on to the actual Wedding Day… The Vibes were IMMACULATE. The song choices played during the Dinner portion of the Reception were perfectly selected. I remember just writing “Chill Vibes” in his Planning App because I didn’t know what else to put and DJ MOJOE UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! My entire Wedding Party (myself included) were grooving and vibin’ to the music while enjoying our dinner. Joe was also a great MC! He had a very calming voice and made sure to highlight all of the extra little things we offered to our guests throughout the evening, such as our Photobooth, Boba Bar, Dessert Table, and Late-Night Bites. A talented DJ is a DJ that can read the crowd and play songs that everybody dances to – and DJ MOJOE is definitely one of those… My guest list was made of both young and old folks; and Joe made sure there was something for everyone. He changed the genre of music based on the vibe of the crowd and even included Mashups of old classic songs mixed with today’s top hits – everyone loved those! When I tell you that my dance floor was NEVER empty from the moment Dancing started till the VERY END of the night, I am in no way exaggerating… DJ MOJOE ROCKED MY DANCE FLOOR and my guests LOVED him! So much so that they asked for an “Encore” and wanted to keep the party going even after the reception was over! Loool! A few of my guests even went as far as tipping him themselves because that’s how much they loved his work! Overall, Joe did an AMAZING job! I would 1000% recommend him to anyone planning a Wedding and I will recommend him over and over again to all of my friends and family that need a DJ for an event! We don’t know where to begin... Our experience with DJ Mojoe was excellent from beginning to end. To start off, we had an introduction meeting where we got to learn about him and his services, and he took the time to get to know my husband and I and our expectations for our wedding. After the meeting, we instantly knew he was the perfect DJ and MC for our wedding. He is extremely friendly and truly a professional at what he does. During our wedding planning process, it was easy to communicate with DJ Mojoe especially with his VIBO app. This app was helpful and extremely easy to use. We were able to add our song choices catered to our liking, but we also trusted him to play songs during our reception. At the wedding, DJ Mojoe was there from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception. His energy and playlist kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. The dance floor was packed and our guests had a blast. We’ve received many compliments for picking DJ Mojoe because he truly knows how engage with the crowd! In addition to his DJ/MC services, he went out of his way to document the dance floor by recording videos and even creating short edits for instagram. Lastly, the overall setup of the reception area was flawless and really set the vibe for the entire event. He made sure that speakers were set in optimal locations so that all guests would be able to hear the music and the lighting was great all around! 2. We knew DJ Mojoe was a true professional from the start when we booked him, but the experience he created for us on our wedding day was above and beyond anything we could have ever expected. DJ Mojoe operates on another level. He flew all the way from California to Virginia for our wedding. Our wedding venue was at a farm and barn, and he and his assistant Darren were able to set up in such a seamless and effortless manner despite having to hand-carry all their equipment and having to DJ in a rustic outdoor setting. He mixed our entire personalized playlist – quite a feat! The equipment and lighting are super high-tech and modern, and the sound was the perfect volume. The transitions were as smooth as butter, and he was able to choose the perfect songs for the perfect moments. He orchestrated the vibe and energy of the entire day like a master-level conductor, from the beautiful quiet moments during our ceremony to keeping our guests extra hyped and energetic during our reception and dance, all the way to the last minute. His voice is the perfect radio voice and added that much more magic to the experience. Nothing ever felt forced at any moment, even with the sudden interruptions and announcements for the surprise events we planned with him behind the scenes. It was such a pleasure to work with and meet DJ Mojoe and we feel lucky that he played such an important role in making our dream day so special.

This professional is who you NEED at your wedding/event! We had our reception in Feb 2022 and he most definitely made people groove during cocktail hour, lining up for food and on the dance floor! You should work with people you like. We really liked DJ MoJoe. He was always calm and humble, but had a lot of energy and kept things fun. Not only is he a great DJ, but a really awesome person. I’ll break it down on how he was an amazing DJ for our wedding: Pre-event: Ok, so before we hired DJ MoJoe, we talked to him over the phone. It was a great conversation as he told us his philosophy on his services, which is to make sure everyone is having fun. Also, there was no pressure. We even mentioned how we spoke with this other DJ, and Joe was complimentary of the other DJ even though he knew that he was competing with him for our services. That truly shows his character. After the phone call, we scheduled an in-person meeting, and he was just as nice and humble as he was during the phone call. Before the event, we had another consultation to go over the details of what was to come which was also so helpful. Organization: If you want a well-organized DJ that takes off the stress from wedding planning, hire DJ MoJoe. My wife and I were so impressed with his electronic scheduler, electronic playlist and event timeline creator and just all the technology that he used to make sure he had all the details from the songs we like to the reception schedule to how to pronounce everyone’s name. And if we ever wanted to speak with him, we could always call him or schedule a time to speak through his electronic scheduler. Equipment: You can really tell, he uses the best equipment. The sound equipment was of great quality. One thing my wife and I were debating about was uplighting. Our venue did it and so did Joe. We went with Joe and glad we did. He was able to change it to match the mood, which really made the party fun. Also, he had access to the TVs around the reception area and played various clips of videos which also added to the atmosphere. Actual Event: My family and friends love to party, and with DJ MoJoe, that is what we did. Not only was he an amazing DJ that played all the music we love (which is pretty diverse), but his MC skills really helped make the event go smoothly and kept everyone energized. The floor always had people dancing and he just really seemed to know what music to play at what time. We had a money dance and he helped time each dance with each person, which was very helpful. Also, we appreciated the small details like him getting to know the other vendors, which added to the harmony of the event and matching his outfit with the theme of our wedding. DJ MOJOE was in one word AMAZING! From start to finish, he made our experience stress free and fun! WOW, was it fun! Okay don’t judge me, but I’m like, nine months late on this. Where do I even begin!! DJ Mojoe is literally the best in the business. One phone call with him and I was already relieved about the wedding (which as a bride is hard to do)! He’s incredibly understanding and friendly, while also being a professional at everything he does. He had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire so he’d meet every single expectation that we had, and he FAR succeeded it. At the wedding, he was constantly analyzing the crowd and ensuring he made as many people as happy and dancing as he could possibly do at any given moment. It was almost mesmerizing how he’d read people’s minds?? I’m convinced he has superpowers. He was more than perfect for our wedding and I’d recommend him ALL DAY LONG. If you’re looking through reviews thinking about maybe giving him a call, do it right now or I’ll do it for you (but please do it because I am busy as a married woman). Getting a good DJ sets the tone for the ENTIRE reception, and they’re hard to find. please take my word for it and set up a meeting with him, because 5 minutes in you’ll be convinced.

Finding vendors and the right one is really hard. And I remember that Dj Mojoe is our first vendor that we bookedThe first time we met him then and there we already said yes! We were so happy we used Dj Mojoe. We felt a connection with him from the first time we talked to him on the phone. After we actually sat down and met him we knew we were making the right choice. He understood that we were looking for an emcee who didn't talk through every song. He was totally on board with our music choices. My husband and I got married last July (2019). We both decided that having a really good DJ was a priority to us.  The DJ/MC can really set the mood for the entire wedding.  We wanted our wedding to be really upbeat & fun for our guests (but we also wanted smooth transitions from the ceremony, to dinner service, to games, to speeches, to the after-party). DJ MoJoe worked collaboratively with our day-of coordinator and they made our wedding day flawless! Leading up to our wedding, I had multiple phone calls and e-mails with DJ MoJoe.  I expressed that we wanted a mix of mainstream music, singalongs, and a mix of 90's/2000's throwback music.  WOW! He did not disappoint! I also wanted a custom mix for our first dance & instrumental music for our ceremony.  Dj MoJoe took all of our considerations and exceeded our expectations.Oh yea! DJ Moe Joe literally set the vibe for our entire wedding. He's such an easy-going person to work with. We were impressed with his organization and his initiation of setting up a final meeting before our wedding to go over everything. You know your vendor has it together when they're the one who reaches out and not vise versa! In addition to his amazing DJ skills, DJ Moe Joe is also an outstanding MC. He kept everything on pace and was so comfortable, people thought he was a friend of ours! In our guests' words "Oh, I thought he was a homie!" This is so important in a wedding. Comparatively, hiring a friend to DJ/MC likely wouldn't be as great of an outcome, because if you're not a professional, you're not as comfortable with the mic, and things can get awkward. We've been to weddings with bad MC's and it totally ruined the vibe. We got the best of both worlds with DJ Moe Joe! He even set up the mics for our officiant and got him all squared away before the ceremony. He also made a sweet Instagram reel which was such a fun "sneak peak" to watch. We appreciated the memories and how he went above and beyond to help make our wedding a dream. 10/10 recommend, you won't be disappointed hiring DJ Moe Joe for your wedding!

We just had our backyard wedding this weekend and DJ Mojoe hit it out of the park! He is resourceful and knew what to do when we only had one power outlet for him to use. The music still pumped like it was a dance club at midnight.Planning with him was a breeze because of his online questionnaire and planner that transferred all the information we were storing on Google docs, spreadsheets, and my head all in one organized planner. He knew to ask the right questions about logistics, producing sound quality, and how to work with other vendors and staff.The Night ran late because our mass and ceremony went longer than expected but he knew how to course correct and manage the timeline with new parameters he was given. His transitions for music and for speeches were excellent and went smoothly.The Dance Party! Though limited to 30 minutes due to neighborhood quiet hours he put on the best dance session I've ever had! Surrounded by family and friends we were dancing to Our favorite choices of 2000s dance music. He kept it lively and raucous as our dancing climaxed before quiet hours hit. Then quieted it down at our request for quiet hours. He provided great direction and announcements to make sure crowd control was orderly and everyone knew where to go at the end of the night!We are so happy we chose DJ Mojoe for our wedding because his organization, professionalism, and instinct for a good party were all in full force on our wedding day. There just aren't enough good things to say about DJ Mojoe! He was very attentive to our requests and hopes for our wedding, exceeding them in every way possible. Our guests, weeks after the wedding, still, rave about how much they loved DJ Mojoe! From the very first meeting, it was clear he was far more organized than any other DJ we'd spoken with and even gave us some fantastic advice without knowing whether or not we'd even sign him for our wedding. He goes out of his way time and time again to make the day memorable, including making several suggestions on wedding coordination that we could consider trying out. He also customized our MC experience by having us (from groom to bride and vice versa) record special messages to be played before the first dance which made our day that much more personalized and unique. He also had us record messages to our parents right before our father/daughter dance and son/mother dance which brought tears. We were able to use his uplights to create a mood during the entire evening that matched the tempo of the music. Another amazing point was that he created a slideshow of our photos from all of our adventures that just played throughout the wedding and it added yet another personalized touch. Lastly, DJ Mojoe stood out exceptionally because he's always working on honing his craft by attending workshops and making content to teach others how to improve as a DJ. We absolutely loved that he is a lifelong learner and our wedding day was a testament to how awesome and professional DJ Mojoe is!

DJ MOJOE is the DJ you want! From start to finish, he was accommodating, communicative, professional, and the absolute best.DJ MOJOE met with us several times to discuss plans - from the wedding ceremony to the finish of the reception. He can meet in person, through Zoom, or by phone - super flexible. He has a fantastic app that allows you and him to customize the event to fit you needs. For the event itself - he was incredible! He was set up on time, prepared to DJ  the ceremony with microphones and speakers, and ready with up-lights, his photo booth, and DJ set-up as soon as the cocktail hour started. Joe was flexible throughout the entire event - even helping with surprises by the guests. He got everyone on the dance floor, and even explained his tactics on how he would accomplish this every step of the way. Joe organized the hora, first dances, speeches, walk-outs, announcements, and of course partying on the dance floor. Our outdoor party ended with rain. Instead of immediately packing up, Joe played to the moment and threw on some "rain" songs to keep the party going! Our guests have not stopped raving about how incredible dancing in the rain to "It's Raining Men" and "Voulez-Vous" was!Thank you, Joe, for creating a one-of-a-kind experience and putting the guests and hosts as the priority. You make that very clear. Side note for those of you looking to book DJ MOJOE - our guests LOVED the photo booth. You, as the hosts, gain access to all the pictures/GIFs taken throughout the night - and Joe customizes the photo to the theme of your event.Cant recommend Joe enough!

Three Words: BEST DJ EVER!!!!!!!!!A couple of things define a Successful Wedding Reception - Food, Open Bar, Flowers/Décor, and MUSIC.I am a very particular and extremely picky person - so picky that I opted not to have a Wedding Planner and planned the entire Wedding by myself ("if you want something done well, do it yourself" type-of-mentality). I went through a whole vetting process before booking any of my Vendors and I am so glad that I picked Joe as our Wedding DJ!Out of everything that I had to plan, Music was by far the EASIEST portion!The entire process was seamless from beginning to end. Joe's Planning App is super easy to use and convenient, as you can make all of your Wedding Song Selections in one place (Processional, Grand Entrance, First Dance, etc...). You can even add Song Requests (as many as you want) for the Dancing portion of the Reception, as well as add any Special Instructions or Notes. DJ MOJOE also has Spotify Playlists for every portion of the Wedding (Recessional, Cake Cutting, Garter Removal, etc..), which were super helpful when it came down to song selections. Once you're done selecting everything, he goes over every detail with you and makes sure that all of your (and his) questions are answered. Communication-wise, Joe was very responsive and easy to reach. Anytime I had a question, I would text him and get an immediate response.DJ MOJOE also offers Lighting "services" and did our Uplights - those totally set the mood to our Reception Ballroom and tied in very well with our Wedding Theme and Décor. You can see for yourself in the pictures!Now on to the actual Wedding Day...The Vibes were IMMACULATE.The song choices played during the Dinner portion of the Reception were perfectly selected. I remember just writing "Chill Vibes" in his Planning App because I didn't know what else to put and DJ MOJOE UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! My entire Wedding Party (myself included) were grooving and vibin' to the music while enjoying our dinner.Joe was also a great MC! He had a very calming voice and made sure to highlight all of the extra little things we offered to our guests throughout the evening, such as our Photobooth, Boba Bar, Dessert Table, and Late-Night Bites.A talented DJ is a DJ that can read the crowd and play songs that everybody dances to - and DJ MOJOE is definitely one of those...My guest list was made of both young and old folks; and Joe made sure there was something for everyone. He changed the genre of music based on the vibe of the crowd and even included Mashups of old classic songs mixed with today's top hits - everyone loved those!When I tell you that my dance floor was NEVER empty from the moment Dancing started till the VERY END of the night, I am in no way exaggerating... DJ MOJOE ROCKED MY DANCE FLOOR and my guests LOVED him! So much so that they asked for an "Encore" and wanted to keep the party going even after the reception was over! Loool! A few of my guests even went as far as tipping him themselves because that's how much they loved his work!Overall, Joe did an AMAZING job! This professional is who you NEED at your wedding/event! We had our reception in Feb 2022 and he most definitely made people groove during cocktail hour, lining up for food and on the dance floor! We got married 9/24/22- and we had the pleasure of having DJ Mojoe as our DJ and MC! He literally came to our rescue since our original dj canceled on us the week before our wedding- but it was a blessing in disguise. DJ Mojoe was one of our most favorite vendors we booked, and we wished we got to work with him longer! His pre-wedding meetings are extremely thorough, and we loved his custom mobile app where we could upload all of our must play songs for the evening! It really made us way more at ease knowing that he got our vibe and would be able to play music that would be perfect for us and our guests. His DJ setup is absolutely amazing with the lights and his dj table with a screen that he's able to project pictures of the bride and groom! The entire experience is totally custom and makes you feel like an all star! We received so many compliments on the music from our guests- there was always a crowd on the dance floor! If you are in need of a DJ for your event, you've come to the right man! Joe was one of our favorite wedding vendors to work with! Communication was standout and so easy. He has an online calendar showing all of his available times and you can instantly confirm a video appointment with him using this system. Emails were responded to promptly. We knew we wanted an amazing party but we had no clear direction of how to achieve that. We had several meetings with Joe as he walked us through our wedding day and posed suggestions/ questions to really shape it into a personalized experience over a generic one.  He thinks about details that we would have missed like walk up songs for speeches, transition songs, send off, etc (too numerous to recount). He helped us seamlessly clip together 2 songs for our first dance so that we did not have to struggle ourselves. His suggestions for pacing and layout were so helpful as well and felt above and beyond. My brother who was our officiant remarked how at ease and prepared Joe made him feel for the ceremony when they met for a small practice run and he was mic-ed up. Our guests all had a great time busting out moves and dancing to his beats. He was even able to accommodate an impromptu rap from our friend. The music was clear and the lights added a nice vibe. His DJ booth displayed our pictures on the front which many of our friends remarked they had not seen that kind of setup before. We used his photo booth services as well which people found to be easy and fun, especially with the boomerang feature.We really appreciate how he worked with our coordinator to troubleshoot various venue issues. For example, the fireplace at our venue was unexpectedly broken. I was so impressed how he cleverly placed uplights in the fireplace while my coordinator got various candles in there to create that fireplace ambiance despite it being broken. It is a small gesture but these small gestures add up and are a testament to his attention to detail and professionalism.1 month after our wedding, we received a lovely surprise in the form of a vlog he made at our wedding. It was nice being able to see our day behind the scenes and the intentionality from Joe. He was so generous to directly share some video footage with us as well. We could go on and on about how amazing it was working with Joe but we would be here forever. Rest assured you are in more than capable hands if you book him as your next DJ/MC!

Got married August 14, 2022 at Tivoli in Fallbrook and the best part about this venue was that they required for you to pick a DJ from their preferred list and that is how I came across Joe's information. From the first phone meeting I knew he would be the perfect person for our wedding. He actually was the first vendor we booked. He's so easy going and helpful throughout the wedding planning process. From messaging on IG, or text, or email he is so responsive. Where do I even start… DJ MOJOE was amazing!! We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ at our wedding, might have to fly him out for our international wedding when we finally get the chance to do our church wedding.. HE WAS THAT GOOD. During our initial meeting, DJ MOJOE’s vibe and organization definitely caught our attention and that’s when we instantly knew we needed him at our wedding. It was so easy to communicate with him throughout the planning process, he had a questionnaire regarding our song preferences, what the sequence of events were, and he even suggested amazing ideas for us. DJ MOJOE did our company holiday party this year and this was easily the smoothest experience we've had with this event. It was so effortless having him there to keep the party flowing and help to manage the timeline of the night.
