The best part of this course is its completeness, in two senses. The first is that it provides a "system" - something I was seriously lacking prior to starting the course. I really enjoyed learning how to read on-chain data and draw conclusions and investment decisions from it. I was really very positively surprised about the super structure of the course and how everything built on each other. It all made sense and it all came together more and more.

My biggest lesson was that my current crypto portfolio was way too big and I need to optimize it and know what narratives to expect in the next bull run. It was the second cohort for me and it was even better than the previous one. The Team constantly keeps updating the research tools, like new protocol and software to discover and evaluate gem. This time they produced the playbooks as well, literally small gems.

The best parts to me have been the workshops. It’s great to see the pros go through from A-Z their DD research prices implementing what we’ve learned. It’s also helpful to hear your thought process throughout. It’s not only good for reinforcing what we learned but also nice to see even the pros get confused or stuck understanding certain things. Most surprising thing is just how much alpha is actually out there for free. The biggest barrier to alpha is simply finding it. Putting the hours in to do the research. Most people (like me many times) are just lazy. I liked Edgy’s quote that whenever something is a pain to do, there’s opportunity. And right now there is still a lot of pain and manual research to be done in defi and crypto. The fact that we still can’t completely automate the DD process with AI yet makes this a golden opportunity. Biggest lessons have been the PPPF research framework and learning about narratives and catalysts. Having the framework gives me a clear list of items to research on. Before, I’d just research the roadmap and tokenomics but not look into the team or product. I also would ignore the narratives that are not now, and think if it’s a good project then it should be a buy at any point in time, but it’s important to keep on top of what’s trending to take advantage of pumpamentals. Before DYD I mostly degened and relied on other influencers to find new tokens and projects. But not I know where to look for new gems myself and do original research on it. If someone is on the fence of joining, I’d tell them to look at how much money they’ve lost in crypto since they’ve been in, how much they’ve spent on going to university, and ask them to consider what they’ve learned from those losses? Consider this as an expense that will give you returns to you by way of education and training. Plus you’ll meet some smart people and get a direct line of communication with one of the smartest minds in crypto during the course.

Really glad that I joined this course in last minute. I had almost no clue what defi actually is even I'm in crypto since 2017, but after listening to the whole course, everything is much clear, altrough I do have information overload and would need to go over videos and slides a few more times. It's nicely packed with a lot of content, love the fact that videos are made live and that each day there is new video coming out. Some information really opened my eyes of how I should look into altcoin investing in general not just defi, I think I would do fewer degen moves from now on. Team is really helpful, and I do think the Discord community will remain active after the course ends.

Double Your DeFi is the concentrated structured set of tools and knowledge by well known and proven practitioners that allows you to do systemic analysis and to evaluate DeFi projects. 

The most surprising for me during the course was to cover many aspects I have either never realized at all or assigned them a secondary role. Also, being a non-native English speaker, I doubted that I can master the material in full measure. Fortunately, my concerns turned out groundless. 

The material is outlined in plain English. 

The main thing I learned from the course is to form and to enhance my own view, conviction, and expertise instead of relying on what other people say. Before starting the course, I gave my knowledge in DeFi a rather modest assessment. 

Now, after completing the course, I can give a decent head start to many. If you are willing to gain valuable systemic knowledge in DeFi field, Double Your DeFi is the right platform that allows you to do that and in very compressed time at that.

The course is intense, well presented, clear, without any fat and with tons of practical examples. With this course, you will get a very complete and overall picture of how to evaluate projects and the most important thing from my point of view: a framework and guidelines to do so on your own applying a proven system that already works.

Edgy, Patrick and the rest of the team are extremely committed to developing top-notch content, and they care about their students, not only during the classes but also the rest of the time.

Trust me, I teach sometimes and I am aware of how hard and time-consuming it is to build a course like this while providing continuous support. It is not for newbies even though there is a bootcamp the first week, so if you don't have some background and know the basics, you can't catch up in a week.

Finally, of course I was hesitant about paying in advance good money to a pseudonymous guy, but now I don't regret it at all, in fact I am really happy I stepped forward.

The best part was PPPF framework. Slowing down the process of buyng a token is crucial in avoiding FOMO/Ape in. 

The most surprising part of the course was that finding alpha was not so impossible to find, just system and strategy and tools that work for you. 

The biggest lessons are do not sit down with professional poker players, wait for the drunk millionaires - don't trade in choppy/bear market, better wait for the bull market, when retail is back.

Also, if you do not outperform ETH you are doing bad. 

Another one is to have a reason for buying and selling, leave the emotions out of it. Before I was more emotional and had a long-term conviction on some projects on which I should have more short-term and that the money are flowing in hot narratives and out of old ones. 

Now, I am cutting the emotion and trusting the numbers and the data. Way less fomo, got new connections to discuss the course and the many tools, strategies provided. 

In whatever level you are, this course would be a life-changer for you. It will give you excellent insights and strategies to grow steadily a few levels up.

The Double your DeFi is a complete package to upgrade your defi skills. 

The most valuable part for me was the systems approach. How to build a system and getting more structure in my investing approach.

Already from the first session I thought: OK, I got my money's worth.

The insights they share, whether already known to me or new, are really valuable as they are compiled into one package and this course really brought me peace of mind.

When I took this course, I had doubts about the quality of the content I would find. I was afraid of coming across basic information I already knew, or the level of dubious courses found online.

The first week served as preparation and gave me confidence, but as soon as the actual training begins, you move on to another level and quickly realize the quality of the courses. 

This training helps you get into the right frame of mind, to know how to interpret data, news, and mindset, to turn them to your advantage. We learn how to deconstruct/analyze a project, set up systems, use all the tools at our disposal and manage our minds. 

The training is optimally structured: each week we got 3 live sessions, 1 bonus, and at the end of the week, a Q&A session to answer any questions you may have had after each session. The sessions are long enough to cover the topics of each session without ending up in a never-ending lecture.

If you're a crypto person that has been buying coins kind of on a whim, or based on the opinions you see on Twitter or Youtube, with no real guidelines or plan other than "wait till it goes up", then you're probably a lot like me before this course.

Double Your DeFi is great. I considered myself an intermediate DeFi user before joining the course. I knew most of the basis and experienced some ups and downs in the last two years. However, I always felt that my knowledge wasn't complete. I could ape into sh!tcoin, I could hop to chains to chase yields, but how could I do it systematically and efficiently?

Double Your DeFi has shown me how to become a DeFi user with its own system, which is precisely what I needed.

1. I was sloppy in building a robust portfolio that suits the current market context, Double Your DeFi showed me how to do it.
2. I was unclear on how to take profit in the last cycle and lost a lot, Double Your DeFi showed me how to do it for the next cycle.
3. I was always behind in picking the 'next gem' and became others' exit liquidity, Double Your DeFi showed me how to identify new narratives and be an early investor instead.

The course covered almost all aspects of DeFi and compressed hours of extensive research into easy-to-digest sessions. Although I couldn't attend all sessions due to time differences, the team always uploaded the recording quickly so I could learn it independently. Team members in the discord were also very responsive, and both Edgy and Patrick were active in it too. YMMV.

Your experience in DeFi and crypto would be different from mine. What you seek would also be different. But what I can be sure of is that there is still a lot to learn and you don't have to learn it the hard way. Double your DeFi is an excellent course taught by two superb teachers, Edgy and Patrick. I was a complete beginner in DeFi. After taking this course, I believe I've gained a solid foundation in DeFi concepts and understand the key factors to look for in a good protocol.

The course covers a lot of ground from the basics to more complicated topics, while being presented and taught effectively. Edgy and Patrick do an outstanding job of holding nothing back and feeding you everything they know. Their teaching styles complement each other as well. Edgy and Patrick go into detail about each topic and openly share all their strategies, tips/tricks, tools, advice, and portfolios.

The combo of theory and research/practical sessions work well for learning. Much effort was put into this course. I believe all the transparency in this detailed content is the best thing about the system. If you want to learn about DeFi from a successful, reputable, and genuine team, I would highly recommend taking this course. It's teachings will benefit you immediately. More importantly, it'll bring you long-term value for your investing journey.

My overall assessment of the course is positive. The topics covered have been appropriate and have been developed in depth. The workshops were beneficial and gave a vision of using the tools and analyzing the coins. The team has always been helpful and attentive to the needs of the students.

English isn't my native language, but that didn't hold me back. I had the option of having subtitles available during the sessions and the transcript and chat of each session along with the video, which helped me not to miss any information.

I recommend this course for those who want to deepen their knowledge of crypto and learn about methods/frameworks and tools to analyze and manage their assets, profits, and to minimize losses.

I discovered crypto near the end of the bull run in December 2017, with stars in my eyes and absolutely no knowledge of what I was throwing my money at. You can guess how that went (exit liquidity). After a hiatus from crypto, I started slowly scratching the surface of understanding the blockchain. I was trying to catch up with people who stuck around during the bear market. I started to understand a bit about what I was investing in, but I had no plan, risk framework or discipline to take profits. The bear market soon returned, and I had no gains to show for the many hours I spent watching charts and scrolling Twitter.

Joining the Course

I followed Edgy on Twitter for some time and found his content useful. Then came along his DeFi course. I was a bit apprehensive about signing up. Who wouldn't be? Giving what was to me a large amount of money to some random dude on Twitter. I hesitated until the hour before enrollment closed. I gave in to the recurring sensation in my gut and decided to invest in myself. Edgy's writing resonated with me, my mindset, & my experience.

It is by no means a complete beginner's course, but rather guidance for those who; struggled to utilize their knowledge, do their own proper research and create a set of systems to methodically enter and exit the market whilst reducing the risk of getting rekt. After completing the course, I feel it tied together all my knowledge and put my experience into perspective. Now I can accept the lessons I've learned thus far, put systems in place and position myself for the next bull run. I am now confident in my competence in forming my own opinions and analysis, constructing my portfolio,  understanding market cycles, and understanding my risk and time horizons.

Thoughts on the Course

I thoroughly enjoyed the online course format, discord group discussions, homework, and live QA sessions. I was also introduced to Patrick of Dynamo DeFi, now a go-to person on my Twitter list. Patrick provided live research sessions with over-the-shoulder insights on metrics to decide which projects to research, and then a structured framework on further analyzing projects and their teams to form our own opinions to base investments on. It was great to have Patrick co-hosting as it gave the teachings another perspective.

Crypto can feel very isolating if you don't have trustworthy sources of information to be able to bounce your endless questions off of. Twitter gurus and chaotic Telegram chatrooms aren't the best places to learn when your hard-earned money is on the line.

Taking this course gave me the confidence to be able to find the answers to my various questions WITHOUT relying on some random account's "price predictions" or "technical analysis" or undisclosed shills. The program really teaches you how to fish and can honestly overlap with areas of traditional finance, real estate, and entrepreneurship.

As a small (brick and mortar) business owner myself, I found the content extremely useful-- I had more impactful things to learn than I had bandwidth to absorb all at once. Wow, I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Double your DeFi course! In today's world, it's hard to know who to trust, especially when it comes to the Crypto market. I was definitely hesitant on joining, mainly because of the cost of the program, but now being on this side of the course, I can confidently say it is worth every penny! The value that Edgy and Patrick pack into this course is exceptional. If you want to know how to find the new up and coming tokens before they're discovered by the masses, then this course is for you. If you want to know how to do your own research, then this course is for you! If you want to have a better understanding of how to analyze projects and what to consider rather than FOMO'ing in on the 'hot' pick on twitter, then take this course! The amount of information we received in the course was shocking to me! The best part of this course is its completeness, in two senses. The first is that it provides a "system" - something I was seriously lacking prior to starting the course. Secondly, the course can also be seen from the sense that it covers the required knowledge on subjects (including drawing on real crypto case studies and real frameworks from traditional business which can be applied to crypto) as well as the practical (as you are provided with several videos walking you through how to use the various crypto apps/tools covered on the course). The biggest surprise to me was the actual quality of the content delivered. I am educated to masters degree level (Manchester University, UK) and this course content is right up there on a par. This course has provided me with a clear picture, a system, and the guidance I was seeking to be competent, and confident, in tackling crypto in a significantly risk reduced manner.
