Elite Learning Passport has been excellent for nursing continuing education. I have now used this company for over 2 years. I need 150 CE hours every five years. My specialty is geriatric psychiatric nursing. Elite has so many courses that fit into this category plus lots of other ones that I considered electives for me. Those others include other age span issues, other medications, new approaches to many medical and surgical nursing issues. So I am sold on elite. I always do outside CE too but Elite has the best system. I like doing everything online and everything you need from content to testing to evaluation. Also, having the certificates available immediately and stored historically can’t be beat.

I retired from school nursing in 2020, not because of covid , but after the summer off went back as a substitute school nurse. As a school nurse I have to complete both education CEU’s ( 150 over 5 years as well as 15 CEU’s as an RN. Elite made my life easier as I could complete courses that had both new knowledge as well as reviewing info that I had forgotten or was changed over my 46 years of nursing. I have worked in many different Venues during my career: hospital, subacute , private duty and school nursing and Elite never failed to come up with courses for my licenses that weren’t useful and informative

I know you can get your required credit for sites for free vs paying for a membership. I use Elite and continue to stay a member be completing my credits is easy, fast, and they keep track of them. For me I work, get busy, and forget I need to keep up with me CEU's. I would recommend using Elite if you are like me or if you get close to that time of year and you are not even close to completing your required hours.

It's not designed for students who are working full-time, but it taught me an important lesson: when you're tired or overwhelmed, you can miss valuable opportunities.
