I have taken multiple courses through elite NP but my favorite was the functional medicine certification. I have used the information obtained from this course/certification to help my addiction patients. Using some of the supplements recommended I have successfully helped patients get off of buprenorphine. My patients were able to successfully complete the program which is ultimately their goal to be drug free. I would highly recommend elite np to my fellow colleagues to gain and grow in their skill set and to look outside of the conventional realm. It is important to grow and improve in our knowledge as healthcare personnel. Nps are vital to healthcare and Elite NP can help NPs become independent of the norm. The functional medicine certification not only helped me help my patients but allowed me to heal my own issues when conventional medicine was not helping. I had serious health problems and the providers only wanted to push pills whereas I wanted to know what was wrong. Doing my own research and with the help of Elite NP, I was able to improve my health. Due to furthering my education with elite NP, I have been able to help more patients and family members. I have used my resources to educate patients on more than what conventional medicine can offer. My patients will actually ask for my opinion over their PCP because they have found I am willing to look for their root cause issue. I appreciate my patients and the work I am able to do. I am currently completing the Functional Medicine Certification course with the intention to start my own business. This course is INCREDIBLE! Tons of helpful information and functional medicine as a specialty but also very informative, easy to grasp business how-tos! I am not business savvy, but after learning more from Elite NP I have a much clearer understanding of how it works! I would recommend this course to any fellow NP looking for a way to help their patients in an existing practice, or as a way to make more money. The biggest benefit for me has been to learn how I can use the full scope of my license and education by going into business for myself, make income on my own terms, and to truly help my patients. I’m working on a business plan and looking forward to finishing the course!
