I started working with Elliot around October 2023 to help me build a sustainable exercise routine as well as help me learn more about nutrition and develop a meal plan. My motivation to start really just came from a change in my work and my routine - suddenly I had the time and capacity to prioritise my health and give time to my lifestyle. My only goal to begin with was to create a sustainable lifestyle for myself and learn more about health in general, my goal is still the same now. Elliot has been great to work with, he’s been able to help me create an exercise plan that challenges me as well as makes me feel excited to actually follow. The meal plan he has come up with and the recipes he’s given me are all great. Overall I have found everything to be equal in terms of achievement and progress. When I first started out I was in the process of recovering from a knee injury, he’s been great adjusting the exercises to fit my ability and my knee is now fully recovered I’m sure in no small part due to the rehab exercises built into my workouts. Elliot is a great person to work with, I think he’s incredibly good at his job and working to different levels depending on what your skill level and goals are. Plus, he’s just a very cool person overall so the sessions are never boring either.
I first confided in Elliot as a friend- expressing my challenges with extended travel and working overseas and my relationship with my health and body from the year before. It was the constant challenge of wanting to try all the things whilst also wanting to feel comfortable in my body. I felt like I was ready to learn about healthy habits and my bodies needs whilst building some discipline into my life around my food choices. Elliot did a fantastic job in coaching me, making the program guided yet flexible and in keeping me on track on the harder days, whilst celebrating the highs with me too. From my time with Elliot, I felt like I built a deeper understanding of my abilities to choose what feels best for me with the right knowledge. I recommend having Elliot as your coach if you too are ready to establish a healthy ‘normal’ with food, exercise, your health and body in general.

I started training with Elliot because I wanted to feel stronger and more confident in myself and on the footy field, and honestly, it’s been such a game changer! When I started, my goal was pretty simple, get fitter and actually enjoy training and now I’m hitting 100kg on hip thrusts like it’s nothing, feeling way more powerful during games, my kicking distance has improved and… I have to get bigger footy shorts because I “grew” out of my old ones. Not mad about it 😅🍑 Elliot’s coaching style is super motivating without being pushy. He listens, adapts things when needed, and keeps it fun (even when I’m dying mid set)...If you’re thinking about training with him in person or online do it. You won’t regret it.

My teenage son has been training with Elliot for the past few months, and the transformation has been incredible. Elliot coached me a few years ago before we went separate ways and when I recently started a new fitness journey, I knew I wanted to reach out to him for help again because I loved his coaching style and knowledge. It always felt super targeted and personal, plus backed with heaps of info. Most recently, Elliot’s helped me get back to running injury free (once I actually listened to him and stopped trying to run rogue extra km’s) which I’m so thankful for !! I started my fitness journey a year and a half ago looking to have somebody who could hold me accountable and provide reliable training and nutrition information amongst all of the noise on social media which can be confusing at best. My goals were to gain lean mass and to lose some stubborn body fat I saw results in both of these areas very promptly after working with Elliot. My goals now are to maintain a more regimented and consistent training program amongst my busy work schedule. Elliot is extremely flexible and provides realistic suggestions in this area. My greatest achievement thus far is developing a positive outlook training where it is something that I look forward to do and that makes me feel happy confident and relaxed from as soon as I into the gym is a welcome part of my week that provides a mindset reset. Elliot is such a great bloke to work with. He’s always positive and happy and encouraging he makes training and being in the gym feel welcoming and he solves problems and issues with knowledge, kindness and professionalism.

I approached Elliot as I was training for a 70.3 Iron Man and was struggling to find the energy required for the demanding training regime I had. After Elliot's comprehensive Nutrition Guide I was very easily able to identify the gaps in my diet by comparing an ideal training diet to what I was currently eating. A few minor adjustments has helped me feel an enormous difference in my energy levels and I now always feel adequately fueled during training and outside of training hours. I can't recommend his services enough to anyone serious about getting on top of their diet and exercise.

I was recommended to Aspire Gym by a doctor friend of mine and had a discussion with Elliot in late January. My first session was in early Feb and was, and still is, scheduled for twice a week. I had been feeling tired and fatigued for a while due to treatment for cancer; I was stiff in some of my joints and sore in areas of my body, in particular, the pain in my left shoulder was restricting me in certain activities. I decided that I needed to try address these issues and therefore followed through on my doctor friends’ advice. Elliot provides a very controlled and balanced delivery to my routine. Some of the very early stages of the program came across as very basic but IN FACT his approach was very practical and extremely effective. I am far more agile than I was when I started, and the biggest surprise is my shoulder feels much better. My energy levels have also been enhanced. He knows what he is doing! He listens; he communicates well during the workout routine; he is friendly, and he provides a great level of encouragement and confidence along the way.

I started with EBF 4 weeks ago when I was back from holiday and looking to really dial in my fitness and nutrition. I signed up with the goal of finding the right nutrition plan to fuel my marathon training and Elliot helped me a lot with that. Since joining the program I have had a set out meal plan that I have prepared each Sunday for the entire week, leaving little room for excuses not to stick to the plan.
