Having been with a few companies now for travel nursing (on and off since 2016), I can say with honesty FlexCare is the best there is. I recommend highly, to anyone in healthcare, looking at the multitude of travel companies out there to go with FlexCare for their assignment. They outpay pretty much everyone--but it is so much more than that. I feel like FlexCare an excellent team- they are so very efficient, and work tightly together. I had to get in touch with my recruiter about something once an he was out of office that day, so April Collins helped with what I needed. She was absolutely lovely, so patient and helped tremendously. Everyone I have worked with from the company has been genuinely kind--you can tell they care a lot about teamwork among their employees, and about their nurses/clinicians. A lot of recruiters out there will really try to push an assignment, but he does the opposite. He was so patient awaiting a license with me for an assignment I really wanted. Most of all he's like a friend who's there to listen and be supportive but also always tells you the truth even if it's not what you want to hear. I'm on my second travel assignment as an x-ray tech with Flexcare and each time the experience has been 10/10. The app is super user friendly and I like how you can pull up the map to see locations of assignments. The onboarding process is very easy and I love that I only have to communicate through my recruiter with everything. Justin Goulart is my recruiter and he has been absolutely incredible! He has excellent communication, always answers my questions, and is very on top of my needs for travel assignments as well as what I need to get done to get set up for everything.

The unique thing about the agency is that there is only one point of contact which makes the communication and the rest of the process so much easier and seamless as compare to other agencies I have previously worked with. Flexcare has been a pretty decent travel company to work with. I feel the pay is decent and generally higher than other companies. I have been with them for almost a year and feel they aren't too pushy to have me make any decisions. Jennifer W has been great at communicating in a timely manner on any questions or concerns I have had. I feel she tries her best to make me happy and if she doesn't know the answer, she will redirect me to the right person. I do feel I have had to represent myself a lot and work a little harder to get certain things I want, but it could be the hospital I am working for currently. I feel flexcare is slightly lacking in showing nursing appreciation. Other companies I have worked for have sent out very nice gifts and bonuses for working with them.

Marlette was the only one who called me with updates instead of emails or texts which was so helpful. When I finally signed a contract with FlexCare, Marlette stayed on the phone with me for over an hour to explain each item I was signing which was so helpful when navigating legal documents. The time and attention she gives to her RN's is really exceptional. I would recommend her to any nurse looking for assignments in the U.S.!!
