30 days ago, I joined the AI Reinvention Sprint with FlipWork. At the time, I barely scratched the surface of what AI could do. These past 30 days changed that. From learning how to craft prompts that actually produced results, to building workflows and agents — the growth has been real. The sprint measures progress through a confidence score. Mine increased by 1.23 points, moving me from an AI Explorer to an Orchestrator mindset. That shift wasn’t just about tools, it was about trusting myself to redesign how I work. I put that learning into practice and built an AI-Powered Job Application Engine.
As an active job seeker, the cycle is: read the job post → tailor the resume → draft the cover letter → repeat. That loop was exhausting me. Two, maybe three applications in, then burnout. With this workflow, what used to take 45 minutes now takes 7.
The insight I’m carrying forward: AI isn’t about replacing your expertise — it’s about amplifying your capacity to act on it. To remove friction from the repetitive, and create space for the strategic.
If you’re on the fence about investing in your AI fluency, this is your sign. 🚀
Special thank you to Monica Marquez, M. Ed., Nikki Barua, and my cohort for your support throughout this journey.
And here’s to embracing the power of AI - a tool that continues to shape the future and push us to tap into capabilities we never knew we had.

The AI job search breakthrough I wish I'd had sooner: I used to think I needed to chase every new AI tool that launched. The pressure to "keep up" was exhausting.
Then I realized: staying relevant isn't about knowing every platform — it's about choosing the right tools for my work and going deep.
As LinkedIn's UK Country Manager noted, "AI is now often the first to review a job application" and "applying for roles that genuinely match your skills will always outperform sending lots of generic applications."
My new approach:
✓ One tool for resume optimization (going deep, not wide)
✓ Strategic transparency about AI use in interviews
✓ Leveraging my experience to know what "good" looks like — AI just helps me get there faster
The real advantage in 2026 isn't sending 200 applications. As one job seeker shared: "I applied to 400 jobs with a generic AI bot and got zero calls. I switched to targeting high-match roles and got 3 interviews in a week. Quality beats volume."
The shift from tool-chasing to strategic selection changed everything. Now I use AI as my amplifier, not my replacement.
What's your approach to staying relevant without burning out?
My sincere thanks to Nikki Barua and Monica Marquez, M. Ed. at FlipWork for their guidance and support in this new, exciting journey of AI!

Excellent perspective. Thanks for sharing Jeff. As Board Chair of a small company, this is exactly why I recently completed FlipWork Agentic AI Leader certification program. We’re not reinventing our company because we have too many people. We’re reinventing it so our people can thrive in the AI era — while continuing to build a top-place-to-work culture grounded in transparency, learning, adaptability, and trust. AI fluency is becoming part of our playbook. Not just for efficiency, but for governance, communication, cybersecurity, operational stewardship, and better decision-making across the enterprise ecosystem. The companies that thrive won’t necessarily be the biggest. They’ll be the ones willing to rethink old operating systems early — before they’re forced to. What Julie Sweet is describing is much bigger than technology. It’s organizational evolution. #Love her courage, and as it’s been said: great leaders go first.

Why I Brief AI Like I Brief My Best Analyst
I've always felt comfortable with technology and believe we need to move with the times. Recently, I've taken a deep interest in AI; particularly how we humans can co-work with AI in this era of innovation. This is leading me to develop my own learning journey and intepretation, as a finance and communications professional: how can I leverage AI in both my professional and personal life? This note reflects some of my thinking, and perhaps it will resonate with others navigating the same journey.
After 25 years of translating complex strategies into actionable plans, I've learned something crucial about working with AI: it's not the technology that fails us; it's how we communicate with it.
Here's what most leaders miss about AI: AI learns through proximity and mathematical patterns. It's incredibly smart, but it only knows what it's seen before. Without proper context, you get answers that reflect historical patterns; including the biased ones. Think of it this way: Imagine hiring your most talented analyst, but they've only learned by watching how things were done in the past. If you don't give them the full picture of what "good" looks like now, they'll replicate old patterns- including the problematic ones you're trying to move beyond.
The solution is simple: Brief AI like you would brief your best team member.
Before asking for anything important:
- Share your goals and constraints
- Describe your audience and what matters to them
- Define what success looks like in your context
- Include the nuances that make your situation unique
It might sound simple, but it can fully unlock the power of what you get back.
The result? AI becomes your strategic partner, not just a faster search engine. The future belongs to leaders who can bridge technical possibility with human adoption. And it all starts with how we communicate.
*What's your experience with giving AI better context? Have you seen the difference it makes?*
Thanks to the talented team at FlipWork, especially Nikki Barua and Monica Marquez, M. Ed. for helping me through this learning journey!

I did it. I earned my FlipWork™ Certified Agentic Leader credential. 🏆 I used to think I was "using AI." I'd ask ChatGPT to help me edit an email. Ask Claude to clean up a post. Ask basic research questions. And then I'd close the tab and go back to doing everything else manually.
The truth? I was overwhelmed. The constant headlines about AI changing everything. Every time I tried to figure out where to start, I'd end up more confused than when I began. And underneath all of it, one quiet question I didn't want to ask out loud: How far behind am I?
That's where I started FlipWork's AI Reinvention Sprint. Twelve sessions later, I'm not just using AI differently, I'm thinking differently.
One of my biggest wins --> I built a complete workflow to create event assets that used to take me hours. Manually. Every time. Now? It runs in a fraction of the time, with AI handling the heavy lifting so I can focus on what actually requires me.
But the bigger shift wasn't the workflow. It was realizing that AI isn't something you need to master before you start. You start, and that's how you master it.
If you're sitting where I was, overwhelmed, unsure where to begin, quietly wondering if you're already too far behind, I want you to hear this: You're not behind. You just haven't started yet. And starting is the whole thing.
A heartfelt thank you to Nikki Barua, Monica Marquez, M. Ed., and the entire FlipWork team ❤️ for creating a program that doesn't just teach you about AI, it changes how you see yourself in relation to it. I'm leaving this program not just more capable, but more confident. And thank you to my fellow members who showed up every week with excitement, shared learnings, and inspiring stories.

I did it!! I earned my FlipWork™ Certified Agentic Leader credential. 🏆 This was not a course. This was a full reinvention of how I lead and work in the AI era. I showed up, did the work, and proved the shift happened.
Over the past several weeks, I:
✅ Built real AI workflows that save me hours every week
✅ Developed my voice and influence for the AI age
✅ Designed a personal operating system that makes the new way of working my default — not my goal
But here is what surprised me most... using AI shifted how I see myself as a leader.
I used to measure my relevance by how many tools I had in my toolkit. That mindset was reactive — not strategic.
AI actually taught me to trust my own judgment more. I stopped asking "what can AI do?" and started asking "what do I already know, and how can AI help me do it better?"
That shift made me more intentional, more focused, and more confident in the value I bring.
I have always believed in autographing my work with excellence — and AI gave me a faster, sharper way to do exactly that.
By sharing what I have learned with the people I care about, I get to advocate for AI and continue to lead from the front.
AI does not replace my instincts. It sharpens them. 💡
The best part? My growth is not just something I feel. It is documented and measurable, with FlipFactor diagnostic scores to back it up.
🚀
If you are a leader navigating the AI era and wondering where to start — this is where.
The shift is real. And it is possible.
