I just attended the kickoff for the 30-Day AI Reinvention Sprint with FlipWork, and I couldn't be more excited about what's ahead. This isn't just another online course. It's a structured reinvention blueprint — rethinking how I lead, how I work, and how I position myself as irreplaceable in an AI-powered world. The truth is, the professional landscape is shifting faster than ever. And I've made the decision I'm not going to wait and watch it happen. I'm going to get ahead of it.

Over the next 30 days, I'm committing to:

✅ Redefining how I show up as a leader in an AI-driven environment

✅ Learning how to rebuild workflows around the tools and technologies reshaping every industry, and

✅ Positioning myself for the next phase of my career with clarity and intention

This feels like the right move at the right time. I'm energized and ready. To everyone else navigating this shift, you're not alone. Let's grow together.

I attended this season and am now officially enrolled in the program at FlipWork, and it’s been eye-opening. I thought I understood AI. Turns out, I was only scratching the surface. As a founder of a small business, efficiency isn’t optional, it’s survival. What’s powerful about this experience is not just learning tools, but understanding how to build agents, design workflows, and truly integrate AI into daily operations. The shift is real: from using AI occasionally to thinking in AI systems. I’m already seeing how this will help me operate at a completely different level - doubling efficiency without doubling resources. Grateful to Nikki Barua, Monica Marquez and FlipWork team for building something so impactful. You continue to impress and inspire. You’re unstoppable!

FlipWork is building a new kind of leadership muscle, and I love the workouts. Learning Agentic AI with FlipWork isn’t just learning a tool—it’s more like building athleticism. It takes reps. Rules. Understanding the mechanics of workflows, and how each “agent” performs, or groups of them swarm. As Chair of three companies, this is an edge: not just using AI, but setting the rules and training the system, and growing confidence where it’s most needed as an E leader to hit a few more home runs in my career. Flip score up ⬆️ Game on 👩‍🎓 Thanks for the opportunity to ad to your post Moe. Nikki and Monica have a game-changing curriculum here! I’m pinching myself daily that I have the time to do it, and the access to it. #grateful.

30 days ago, I joined the AI Reinvention Sprint with FlipWork. At the time, I barely scratched the surface of what AI could do. These past 30 days changed that. From learning how to craft prompts that actually produced results, to building workflows and agents — the growth has been real. The sprint measures progress through a confidence score. Mine increased by 1.23 points, moving me from an AI Explorer to an Orchestrator mindset. That shift wasn’t just about tools, it was about trusting myself to redesign how I work. I put that learning into practice and built an AI-Powered Job Application Engine.

As an active job seeker, the cycle is: read the job post → tailor the resume → draft the cover letter → repeat. That loop was exhausting me. Two, maybe three applications in, then burnout. With this workflow, what used to take 45 minutes now takes 7.

The insight I’m carrying forward: AI isn’t about replacing your expertise — it’s about amplifying your capacity to act on it. To remove friction from the repetitive, and create space for the strategic.

If you’re on the fence about investing in your AI fluency, this is your sign. 🚀

Special thank you to Monica Marquez, M. Ed., Nikki Barua, and my cohort for your support throughout this journey.

And here’s to embracing the power of AI - a tool that continues to shape the future and push us to tap into capabilities we never knew we had.

A perfect topic for Nikki Barua and Monica Marquez who are currently redefining executive productivity through AI. Their latest venture, FlipWork, is doing incredible work teaching leaders how to build their own tools and lead with confidence in the AI world. Nikki Barua would be a phenomenal guest for your podcast—she is a South Asian trailblazer, a serial entrepreneur, and a leader who was born to elevate others. This is exactly the kind of conversation today's senior leaders need to hear.

"AI is not the advantage—your system is." I saw this first as a regenerative farmer: when one element is off, the whole ecosystem responds. We are 100% stewards of our domains—farmer, chef, builder, home holder. Your class FlipWork is helping me contribute a lifetime of experiences into a new recipe of value & impact for those I’m called to serve. Thanks Monica, and mom💕. This ‘last 30’ will be the most consequential yet, God willing.

The AI job search breakthrough I wish I'd had sooner: I used to think I needed to chase every new AI tool that launched. The pressure to "keep up" was exhausting.

Then I realized: staying relevant isn't about knowing every platform — it's about choosing the right tools for my work and going deep.

As LinkedIn's UK Country Manager noted, "AI is now often the first to review a job application" and "applying for roles that genuinely match your skills will always outperform sending lots of generic applications."

My new approach:

✓ One tool for resume optimization (going deep, not wide)

✓ Strategic transparency about AI use in interviews

✓ Leveraging my experience to know what "good" looks like — AI just helps me get there faster

The real advantage in 2026 isn't sending 200 applications. As one job seeker shared: "I applied to 400 jobs with a generic AI bot and got zero calls. I switched to targeting high-match roles and got 3 interviews in a week. Quality beats volume."

The shift from tool-chasing to strategic selection changed everything. Now I use AI as my amplifier, not my replacement.

What's your approach to staying relevant without burning out?

My sincere thanks to Nikki Barua and Monica Marquez, M. Ed. at FlipWork for their guidance and support in this new, exciting journey of AI!

Most professionals with flexible schedules are drowning in morning chaos without realizing it. I was stuck in what I now call "morning drift" – starting each day reactive instead of intentional. My priorities around AI learning, Career design and Health were getting buried under urgent but unimportant tasks. Then I tried something different. I used Claude to completely redesign my daily schedule around what actually matters to me. The AI helped me map out time blocks that protected my core priorities while eliminating the decision fatigue and distraction that was eating my mornings. An AI-built tracker allows me to record how I actually meet these goals and modifies the subsequent days. It's my accountability partner in action. The result? I reclaimed 10 hours weekly. But here's the deeper insight: Most of us think productivity is about doing more faster. It's actually about doing the right things consistently. When you align your daily structure with your true priorities, time stops feeling scarce and starts feeling abundant. What's one priority that gets buried in your daily chaos that deserves protected time? Thanks to Nikki Barua, Monica Marquez, M. Ed. and FlipWork

Excellent perspective. Thanks for sharing Jeff. As Board Chair of a small company, this is exactly why I recently completed FlipWork Agentic AI Leader certification program. We’re not reinventing our company because we have too many people. We’re reinventing it so our people can thrive in the AI era — while continuing to build a top-place-to-work culture grounded in transparency, learning, adaptability, and trust. AI fluency is becoming part of our playbook. Not just for efficiency, but for governance, communication, cybersecurity, operational stewardship, and better decision-making across the enterprise ecosystem. The companies that thrive won’t necessarily be the biggest. They’ll be the ones willing to rethink old operating systems early — before they’re forced to. What Julie Sweet is describing is much bigger than technology. It’s organizational evolution. #Love her courage, and as it’s been said: great leaders go first.

Why I Brief AI Like I Brief My Best Analyst

I've always felt comfortable with technology and believe we need to move with the times. Recently, I've taken a deep interest in AI; particularly how we humans can co-work with AI in this era of innovation. This is leading me to develop my own learning journey and intepretation, as a finance and communications professional: how can I leverage AI in both my professional and personal life? This note reflects some of my thinking, and perhaps it will resonate with others navigating the same journey.

After 25 years of translating complex strategies into actionable plans, I've learned something crucial about working with AI: it's not the technology that fails us; it's how we communicate with it.

Here's what most leaders miss about AI: AI learns through proximity and mathematical patterns. It's incredibly smart, but it only knows what it's seen before. Without proper context, you get answers that reflect historical patterns; including the biased ones. Think of it this way: Imagine hiring your most talented analyst, but they've only learned by watching how things were done in the past. If you don't give them the full picture of what "good" looks like now, they'll replicate old patterns- including the problematic ones you're trying to move beyond.

The solution is simple: Brief AI like you would brief your best team member.

Before asking for anything important:

- Share your goals and constraints

- Describe your audience and what matters to them

- Define what success looks like in your context

- Include the nuances that make your situation unique

It might sound simple, but it can fully unlock the power of what you get back.

The result? AI becomes your strategic partner, not just a faster search engine. The future belongs to leaders who can bridge technical possibility with human adoption. And it all starts with how we communicate.

*What's your experience with giving AI better context? Have you seen the difference it makes?*

Thanks to the talented team at FlipWork, especially Nikki Barua and Monica Marquez, M. Ed. for helping me through this learning journey!

I did it. I earned my FlipWork™ Certified Agentic Leader credential. 🏆 I used to think I was "using AI." I'd ask ChatGPT to help me edit an email. Ask Claude to clean up a post. Ask basic research questions. And then I'd close the tab and go back to doing everything else manually.

The truth? I was overwhelmed. The constant headlines about AI changing everything. Every time I tried to figure out where to start, I'd end up more confused than when I began. And underneath all of it, one quiet question I didn't want to ask out loud: How far behind am I?

That's where I started FlipWork's AI Reinvention Sprint. Twelve sessions later, I'm not just using AI differently, I'm thinking differently.

One of my biggest wins --> I built a complete workflow to create event assets that used to take me hours. Manually. Every time. Now? It runs in a fraction of the time, with AI handling the heavy lifting so I can focus on what actually requires me.

But the bigger shift wasn't the workflow. It was realizing that AI isn't something you need to master before you start. You start, and that's how you master it.

If you're sitting where I was, overwhelmed, unsure where to begin, quietly wondering if you're already too far behind, I want you to hear this: You're not behind. You just haven't started yet. And starting is the whole thing.

A heartfelt thank you to Nikki Barua, Monica Marquez, M. Ed., and the entire FlipWork team ❤️ for creating a program that doesn't just teach you about AI, it changes how you see yourself in relation to it. I'm leaving this program not just more capable, but more confident. And thank you to my fellow members who showed up every week with excitement, shared learnings, and inspiring stories.

I did it!! I earned my FlipWork™ Certified Agentic Leader credential. 🏆 This was not a course. This was a full reinvention of how I lead and work in the AI era. I showed up, did the work, and proved the shift happened. Over the past several weeks, I:

✅ Built real AI workflows that save me hours every week
✅ Developed my voice and influence for the AI age
✅ Designed a personal operating system that makes the new way of working my default — not my goal

But here is what surprised me most... using AI shifted how I see myself as a leader. I used to measure my relevance by how many tools I had in my toolkit. That mindset was reactive — not strategic. AI actually taught me to trust my own judgment more. I stopped asking "what can AI do?" and started asking "what do I already know, and how can AI help me do it better?"

That shift made me more intentional, more focused, and more confident in the value I bring. I have always believed in autographing my work with excellence — and AI gave me a faster, sharper way to do exactly that. By sharing what I have learned with the people I care about, I get to advocate for AI and continue to lead from the front. AI does not replace my instincts. It sharpens them. 💡

The best part? My growth is not just something I feel. It is documented and measurable, with FlipFactor diagnostic scores to back it up.

🚀 If you are a leader navigating the AI era and wondering where to start — this is where. The shift is real. And it is possible.

I graduated this week as a FlipWork Certified Agentic Leader. 🎓 I’m genuinely excited about this, because it feels less like an ending - than a new beginning. One thing I’ve learned over the years building EarthKind is that some of the best innovations are born out of necessity, not $$ abundance. EarthKind was a pioneer in online social reviews because people thought natural & humane pest control couldn’t possibly work. Survival demanded #trust as we brought the first-ever Fed EPA Registered botanical rodent repellent to market for a public health risk pest. #SocialNature #BazaarVoice #PowerReviews were there to help us get it right, and pioneer a new category. We became one of the first 100 companies on the NetSuite cloud platform—integrating CRM, eCommerce, and ERP systems long before most companies understood what integrated systems could do. Domiciled in North Dakota, this meant we could keep serving our customers (from home) through blizzards and road closures⛄️. We were also early adopters of HubSpot (first 100 as I recall) and an early adopter with Pattern, an e-commerce accelerator helping category leaders grow in the digital marketplace. Why? Because when you’re building a purpose-driven business starting with nothing more than the land you stand on, you learn quickly that heart, ingenuity, and resourcefulness can outsize big budgets. We were pioneers in SEO cloud computing and naturally smarter approaches to growth because we had to. To earn our first million customers we didn’t knock on doors—we clicked into hearts. Turns out, a mouse can build a house. And now, here we are again—with more resources, still re-inventing, using first-principles thinking: learning, adapting, and building for the AI era while connecting more people to our products, purpose, and the future we believe is possible. Next week, EarthKind’s Sales & Marketing Director Greg Sweeney will join a panel discussion on AI and humanizing brands—exactly the kind of conversation I encourage all pioneers to do. It’s important to share that while AI can accelerate systems, only people can create the trust and belonging that grows a business. Technology must help us become more human, not less. Let’s be wise with it. To all the graduates of 2026🎓: Congratulations. Keep learning. Keep evolving. Keep building businesses and communities that leave this beautiful, bountiful planet better than you found it. As a founder who loves spending time on “groundbreaking” technologies (can’t get the farmer+futurist out of me 🌱), I’m deeply grateful for our team of leaders who steward the opportunities and resources God has entrusted to us to serve humanity. #faith #innovation #compassion #excellence is how we roll. May we use what we learn to build a kinder future together. 💚 #ClassOf2026 #AgenticLeader #FaithAndInnovation #PeaceOverPoisons #Leadership

I just completed FlipWork's Agentic AI program, led by two people I already deeply admired: Monica Marquez, M. Ed. Marquez and Nikki Barua. I trusted them before I fully knew what "agentic" even meant in this context. That trust was more than rewarded. What I did not expect was how transformational this experience would be. Not because it taught me more of how AI works, or how to build a workflow, create agents, or more (though it did all of that). It changed the way I think. About problems. About leadership. About my own value in a world that is evolving faster than most of us are ready to admit. I signed up on my own, because I genuinely believe that intellectual curiosity is not optional. It is a responsibility. And if change is coming (and it is), I would rather be ahead of it than watching it from the sidelines. Here is what hit me hardest: I spent 25 years building judgment, context, and expertise that no model can replicate. This course did not make me feel threatened by AI. It helped me understand exactly how to bring all of that to what AI can do. That combination? That is the real opportunity. Monica and Nikki are visionaries. Their course is the best I have seen on this topic, full stop. They do not ask you to surrender to technology. They ask you to lead it. And they show you how. We cannot stop progress. We never could. But we absolutely can choose to get ahead of it, use it intentionally, and make our work and our lives better because of it. I am proud to have earned my Certified Agentic Leader certification today. And I feel genuinely ready to step into this next evolution, for my team, for my organizations, and for everything I do. If you have been curious about where to start, start here. I could not recommend Monica and Nikki more!
