Great pest control service!! I was vacationing in Nags Head and found a bunch of ants in our Airbnb when we arrived. The owner called First Light Pest Control and Bruce responded quickly and the ants were gone within the day! I would definitely recommend them if you need anything while staying/living in the Outer Banks.

We stayed in Duck and saw rodent droppings. Called the property manager and First Light Pest Control came to the house within the hour. He set out some monitors and came back out for three consecutive days. It turned out to be a false alarm but the level of communication, understanding and professionalism was outstanding.

On a recent vacation to Duck , North Carolina In the Outer Banks, we had our first experience with “water bugs”. Not sure what these were, we reached out to the property manager. We had First Light Pest Control come out to deal with an awful roof rat situation at our house in Kill Devil Hills. They were incredibly responsive, immediately scheduled with us, and were flexible based on our schedules. They were super friendly and professional and completely took care of the situation. I was losing sleep over this situation (rats! The worst! Stuff of nightmares), and First Light literally completely took care of it. So grateful!

I am very happy with First Light. I was a little hesitant at first to contact a pest control company for my issue because I thought I could handle it myself. As I watched them methodically go though my house and quickly reveal the root of the issue I knew straight away I made the right decision. He responded to my initial email about general pest control very quickly and provided me with a quote that was fair and reasonable. When he came to my investment property in Salvo, NC for the initial treatment, I asked about rat prevention (proactive rodent exclusion) and he said that was something that he did. I had heard from several people that "roof rats" were becoming a problem in the outer banks and I wanted to make sure my home was protected. He also offered bedbug prevention so we decided to go with both of those and he got the work done very quickly. We discovered a family of starlings had moved into an uncovered vent on the third story of our beach home in Corolla. Our regular pest control service (just bugs no wildlife) could not help and that is what lead us to First Light Pest Control. Bruce answered the phone immediately, was able to come out within 24 hrs, and knew exactly what to do and how to handle the situation--- which included sanitization and recovering the vent.
