[NEW NURSE MASTER CLASS] It was a difficult back and forth decision to pay for this course or not. Ultimately I thought, this is an investment in myself to grow as a nurse and with that in mind I went through with it, and am absolutely soooo grateful I did because it helps me grow in the long run. And I see fresh RN as my mentor.

[NEW NURSE MASTER CLASS] I'm entering the bedside setting for the first time after a year of post-grad service. It's so true that refresher courses are varied and never all in one place. Some refresher courses are strictly theory material that might be helpful indirectly in the practice, but not the boiled down basics needed as a new grad RN. Others provide 'birds eye' view advice like "taking care of yourself" or "meal prep" without any tools to do so practically. You have combined all the resources I needed in easing my transition back into healthcare, and for that, I am so grateful!

[NEW NURSE MASTER CLASS] I appreciated the well rounded nature of the course- from nursing skills, etc. to self care and sleeping. I also really appreciated including other members of the care team and what they do, and how to be respectful (cool vs. not cool- nurses are notoriously NOT cool to environmental services, thanks for mentioning our hard working co-workers.) I really enjoyed the section on providers and the interviews with APP and PT. The structure of the hospital is hard to understand, this course really helped. The communication tips are excellent and very helpful. This course lays out "a day in the life" of what a real nursing shift in a hospital looks like, which helps me feel significantly less lost as a new nurse new to hospital care. The time management, patient flow etc., are super helpful and practical. Including specific examples (like the patient who refuses therapy and meals, or the ICU nurse who copies previous documentation) help make the concepts you teach tangible, and I personally can better retain information that is attached to a story. Great course, thank you.

[NEW NURSE MASTER CLASS] I used this course in conjunction with my new grad RN orientation program... there were definitely some challenging days at the hospital, but I was able to ground myself and ease the stress and anxiety by reviewing/replaying certain segments. How to navigate relationships with patients, coworkers, etc., along with self-awareness and self-care tips were very beneficial. Thank you!

[NEW NURSE MASTER CLASS] Hi Kati, I thank God that I found you and the help and encouragement you offer. This was truly an answer to prayer for me! I am learning so much in this course so far, and it has been worth every penny. The breathing techniques have been extremely helpful. I am a little over 2 months into my orientation as a new graduate nurse. Due to covid, I literally had only virtual clinicals and no internship. I was hired in a small rural hospital with only 20 beds on the med/surg unit. I was so full of anxiety, and I wanted so desperately to please everyone around me. I LOVE that you start the course talking about the mental aspects. It is so helpful to know that I'm not alone in the feelings and emotions. It is so hard working through those! The lack of clinical experience has made the experience even more challenging, but my 2 preceptors have been so helpful and gracious with me, and my manager has extended my orientation to 4 months. With your course and the help of my preceptors, I have started to really progress. My biggest struggles right now are admitting patients and starting IVs successfully. I am so grateful to you that you have so selflessly shared your own struggles and mistakes to help me and many new nurses. Thank you so much for your kindness! ~ Theresa

[NEW NURSE MASTER CLASS] Everything, literally everything you said, I have felt or are currently feeling and... wow, just wow. You made me feel so validated in a place I thought I was alone. Thank you for relighting the fire inside in a profession like nursing that seems to distinguish it.

[NEW NURSE MASTER CLASS] I’m barely a couple modules into this class but it’s like you wrote down all the thoughts going through my mind! I’m a new grad in the ICU and this class is already helping me so much with accepting that this is a process and I will get there!

[NEW NURSE MASTER CLASS] The new grad course helped me understand the structure of a nursing unit. I am a foreign nurse that graduated in 1998. In 2018 I passed the NCLEX. 2019 I worked in the hospital and purchased the new graduate course. It helped me understand better how things work.
