The course I took was "Hired". This course work was helpful, yes, I've been a nurse for 15 years, but, it's still incredibly intimidating to go before a panel interview for the job you wanted 15 years ago and just had a hard time getting there due to family constraints, bullying enviroments, etc. I think the best thing about this course was that I came prepared. I already had my questions written down and I could focus even though I was so nervous (nervous because this was for a surgical nurse training program).
I got the job! I will start in the PONI program (Perioperative Nurse training program) on March 3 at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, CO.

I went throught the Hired course and wasn't sure at first if it would help. I'm more of a mediocre job interviewee mainly due to nerves during the interview process. I can say without a doubt that this course helped me become more confident during the interview process. I felt like I was more professional as well as able to show them who I am as a nurse during the interview and while job shadowing. Be sure to follow through with a thank you email! My grandpa also told me "the squeaky wheel gets the oil" but I never knew how to do that without looking like I was annoying. This course helped show how while being professional!

Your interview course helped me land my second DREAM JOB! I actually have 7 years experience but it has been 5 years since my last interview. I know your books helped me get my first dream job in surgery, so when I went back to review them I found your new course. My new job offer is for my first-choice company in my first-choice location and my first-choice schedule for the salary I asked for. Not to mention other positive perks; I am in complete shock. HOW DO I SAY THANK YOU! Maybe all of that information is available somewhere in google land, but I did not have much time to prepare and your course gave me all the fine-tuning and comforting I needed, from researching facilities to understanding the purpose of the behavioral questions, to the exact wording of thank you notes. Using your HIRED course as a guide, I crafted a resume and cover letter and was promptly invited to an interview. I was expecting a one-on-one interview with the manager, but it was a panel interview with four people from the ICU. I'm so glad I listened to your podcasts and went through the "HIRED" behavioral interview questions - I was super nervous, but also felt very well prepared. And clearly, it was an effective process because I got a call the NEXT day that they were offering me an ICU position in their new grad program!

I took your cardiac crash course and loved the content. I noticed recently that it’s now in audio files, too, so I can listen to it. I love this. I had my preceptorship last spring in Tele and having your course helped me to feel confident and more prepared (knowing what was important, what to look out for, how to talk to doctors, etc).
I also took your resume and interview course and used your template for my resume (and got the job!) I listened to your podcasts about interviews and about new nurses and what makes a great new grad.
