John is one of the most patient and thoughtful people I have ever met in my life. He took the initiative to create several workshops for us during our team lunches, including one to better understand Git. He also wrote detailed notes for each student on their code files to target individual areas of improvement. He spent countless hours of his free time working with students one-on-one to explain concepts and review workshops. I can personally attest to how his clarity, knowledge, and perspective helped me grow as a developer and as a team player. 

John was one of my favorite people to pair with on workshops as a student, because he always asked thoughtful questions to make sure both he and I truly understood the material as we worked through it. He has a rare ability to look at things through multiple perspectives at once, allowing him to regularly notice things nobody else does. As a Teaching Fellow, John used this strength to help broaden his students' perspectives, challenging their understanding in a way that helped them grasp complex topics at a deeper level. 

I had the pleasure of getting to know John as both a student and fellow at Fullstack Academy. Throughout both roles, John proved to be an invaluable partner, colleague, and friend. As a student, John's inquisitive nature, combined with his calming demeanor was often the driving force behind deep thoughtful discussion that invariably resulted in a profound understanding of the topic at hand. As a fellow, John was kind, caring, and nurturing, often foregoing lunch to meet with students to discuss their process and provide them extra support.

I was impressed by his solid coding skills and his problem solving skills, but what struck me even more were his human qualities. John is always willing to help people around him, and he does so by trying to have a deep understanding of everything and everyone around him. He has a great sense of observation and communication. John is an excellent asset to any team, given his solid technical skills and extremely rare social skills.

Among the Fullstack alumni who served as teaching fellows during our cohort, John was the most devoted to the role. What little free time it provided him, he graciously spent mentoring us. The professionalism as well as empathy we found in John belied a beyond-impressive degree of maturity for one so young and at the beginning of his career. His knowledge of Javascript is acute. 

John will open your world. He will show you the ins and outs of Javascript. He is the most supportive student at Fullstack. I don't know how I would have got through the program without him. He is a must-have on any team.

I noticed that even when he understood concepts and was ready to leap way ahead, he always checked in with his teammates and made sure that everyone was completely on the same page before moving forward. This makes John one of the best team players I can vouch for, and I'm excited to work again with him in the future.

I had a pleasure of getting to know John as student and later work side by side as teaching fellows for past 6 months at the Fullstack Academy of code. John has a nature of the true engineer, who is never satisfied till he dives deep into a specific concept or topic to reveal the mystery, figuring every small detail of it. One of the greatest examples of John’s genuine curiosity is the tech talk that he gave to students where he introduced an exciting new perspective on investigating JavaScript functions. That said, I truly believe that John is a true asset to any engineering team!

John is one of the most unique and thoughtful individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting. Regardless of the setting, he has a rare ability to understand people's thoughts and perspectives; this capacity makes John a true pleasure to have on your team. I look forward to working with John again in the future.

I was lucky enough to work along side John during my three months at Fullstack Academy. He has a real depth of proficiency but still maintains a humble and open attitude, stepping back to give others a chance to voice their opinion and attempt to solve the problem. Working with John is always enjoyable, calm, and extremely productive. I only wish we'd worked together more often.
