Kevin tutored my twins in algebra 2 last year as well as for the PSAT. They not only improved both their grades and scores, they also became better overall students and test takers. There are many tutors out there but where Kevin shines is in his rapport with his students…this enables them to develop confidence in addition to problem solving skills. Although they did not use him for math this year, the “toolbox” he gave them last year equipped them with the skills they needed to get A’s in geometry this year. I can’t recommend him enough!!

What prompted you to get Kevin's help? He was recommended to me as a tutor through my college counselor and I sought his help to insure I would be adequately prepared for the ACT. As a student, what have you learned from tutoring with Kevin? I learned that one of the biggest battles of testing is how you mentally approach it: figure out why you are getting things wrong, and address those reasons, as opposed to just seeing what you get wrong and trying harder next time. What is the best thing about Kevin's tutoring? The methodical way Kevin taught me to go about studying was the best tool I could have asked for. His system is proven and if you do what he says, the results speak for themselves. Anything else you'd like to add? I went from a 31 with a 26 on the math section of the ACT to a 36 with a 35 on the math section. Kevin’s methods work, period.

I used Kevin for ACT tutoring. The best thing about his tutoring is that he doesn’t just correct you if you have the wrong answer, but he makes you think about why you came to that conclusion and how you can improve in the future to get it right. This was very helpful and was an approach that allowed me to understand the way that I was thinking through problems and the process I was using to get my answers rather than just being corrected for getting one wrong.

Kevin is a tutor and a mentor… he’s taught our son many topics including trigonometry & chemistry (we haven’t found any topic he can’t teach!).
