I took a friends advice and downloaded this app, then went straight to the produce store. This app is fantastic and I don't even have the paid version yet.

Highly recommend this app. Have just been using it over the last fortnight since its release and can already see how huge the impact will be for our horses (and our) lives! The app is really intuitive to use and nicely structured with all the info.

I would highly recommend this app to anyone. Our laminitis/ hoof problems mare's health has been declining over the last 6 months, haven't been able to get her right, this app showed her diet was severely lacking in the vitamins & nutrients she needed to heal, it was very easy to add in different feeds / supplements (it showed which ones are safe for her) and you could easily see if all her needs are being met. Thanks to this app we have seen a rapid recovery in her health.

What feeding challenge were you facing before MyHappy.Horse, and how did it make you feel? Before using MyHappy.Horse, I felt like I was constantly second-guessing my feeding decisions. My mare had been through gut issues, including an impaction colic, and her behaviour became reactive and unpredictable. I was juggling multiple feeds and supplements, trying to support her digestion, hooves, muscles, and energy without overloading her. It was stressful and overwhelming. I wanted to do the right thing for her, but I never felt 100% confident that her diet was truly balanced or appropriate for her workload and environment. In the end we had a major work up which showed no conclusive result for what could still be causing her behaviour and discomfort that the only options we had were investigative surgery or see if a diet change could be the answer to our problems. What changes have you seen in your horse since using the app? The biggest change has been consistency. Once her feeding was properly balanced, her gut settled, her manure improved, and her overall demeanour or became calmer and I finally got the mare I loved back. She’s not reactive, holds condition better (shining from the inside out), and feels more even in her energy under saddle. I’ve also noticed improvements in her feet and whilst we regressed through the challenges she’s undergone a massive corrective farrier work and has made such impressive progress since her diet has been improved. Having clarity around what she actually needs and what she doesn’t has made a huge difference and I can ensure she’s getting the right ratios. Since getting your horse’s feeding on track, how has life changed? How do you feel now? Life is honestly easier. I no longer feel anxious every time something changes, like pasture, workload, or season. I feel confident adjusting her feed because I understand why I’m feeding what I’m feeding. I’m no longer feeding huge list of things that take so much time to prepare. It’s taken away that constant background stress and replaced it with confidence and peace of mind. I feel like I’m finally supporting my horse properly rather than guessing and hoping for the best. I love that every month I can sit down review her work load, pasture and re weigh everything to ensure it’s reflective of where we are at. I actually stumbled across the pilot of the app after missing a talk by DR. Nerida at our local pub after a huge vet visit (10hrs) with no answer to why my mare wasn’t okay and getting no real answers despite the vets amazing work and it has been a huge saving grace for us and nutrition saved my mare. What would you say to a fellow horse owner who’s on the fence about trying MyHappy.Horse? If you’re overwhelmed, confused, or constantly questioning your feeding program the app is totally worth it. It taken the guesswork out and helped me make informed decisions that are actually suited to my horse at that exact time . Even if you think you’re “doing everything right,” it’s can help refine and simplify things in a way that genuinely improves your horse’s health and your confidence as an owner. It’s amazingly helpful at keeping a log of body condition, hoof health, manure and your goals in a lovely logbook. It’s become a massive part of my horse management.

I’ve been having a few issues with my OTT who is normally a great eater going off his food but otherwise healthy. I contacted MyHappy Horse and Nerida was fantastic. She listened to all my thoughts and then suggested it could be something as simple as food tasting too salty - she was right. I followed her suggestions and gave him free choice salt and left it out of his feed and he’s been eating like normal. Very happy. Highly recommend MyHappy Horse.

So Happy with the My Happy. Horse app! Our young ASH was looking good but I just felt like there was something missing for him, the software made it simple to work out what that was. Also dealing with the challenges of coastal pastures, we found the app was great at taking into account the full picture of Pasture + Hay + Hard feed. Save yourself time and money- try the app!

I have recently gotten a 5yo OTTB mare and started using My Happy Horse to set her up on a balanced diet to help improve her gut health as she comes down off race feed. It really highlighted the importance of weighing my feed, and I am actually able to feed less, saving money in the long run! As well as knowing I am giving my horse everything she needs to thrive in her new career. Nerida has also been so helpful with any questions I have! Absolutely recommend at least giving the free trial a go.
