Ompractice has been a wonderful way to start exercising after years of inactivity. The beginning classes instructors (especially Sharif and Allison) are really thorough and patient at explaining the movements and they take the extra time to adapt the movements to chair exercise for me.

I'm a 78 year old man living in Lenexa Ks. USA. I've gone full throttle all my life. I've had 10 surgeries on broken body parts. Physical therapists told me I needed to find a moderation button. When my health insurance started including ways for me to help myself be healthy, I started looking for Tai Chi classes. Ompractice offered 3. I attend Gurney Bolster's class on Mondays, Ann Swanson's on Wednesdays and Sharif Zyhier's on Thursdays. Even though they are all Tai Chi / Qigong classes, They are all different. They emphasize doing it slowly. It's amazing how the classes make me realize how my body is to move. On top of making me feel better, it has really helped my golf game.

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy Gurney's Qigong, Sharif's Tai Chi, and Marie's chair yoga classes. They have made a tremendous difference in my life. As a teenager growing up in the 1950's and 1960's gym class was extremely hard and competitive, I disliked it! The Ompractice classes have made exercise enjoyable. I look forward to them and I know they are improving my strength, health and wellbeing.

Ompractice is a live online yoga/meditation platform like no other. I love that I don’t need to go anywhere to take a yoga class, especially great with a 5 year old at home. The classes are live which holds me accountable to get on the mat and allows the teacher to give helpful personalized cues. Ompractice is a great place for beginners because the classes are accessible and teachers give cues to keep you safe.

Ompractice is an online community of people who celebrate yoga. The teachers are wonderful - they make every practice meaningful and it feels like we are in class together. I have been practicing with Ompractice since the pandemic. I love Ompractice and can't imagine my life without it. One piece of advice: Try many different classes -- there are so many to choose from that you'll find the classes that are best for you.

I was apprehensive about an online class but after stepping out of my comfort zone I thought it was amazing.

I love ompractice. You kept me alive during Covid by reuniting me with three beloved teachers - Lisa Rischitelli, Dawn Avent, and Katy Mills. They are wonderful! THANK YOU!

I live in North Carolina. Ompractice is a live online yoga/meditation platform like no other. I love that I don’t need to go anywhere to take a yoga class, especially great with a 5 year old at home. The classes are live which holds me accountable to get on the mat and allows the teacher to give helpful personalized cues. My favorite classes are Yogi Unwind: Yang to Yin and Yoga for Tight Neck and Shoulders. I always feel less stressed and more present after those classes. The teacher, Niki, has a lot of knowledge about yoga philosophy, anatomy and the nervous system. Ompractice is a great place for beginners because the classes are accessible and teachers give cues to keep you safe.

"I love Ompractice and recommend it to everyone. What works for me: the early morning, bite-size classes, the variety of classes, the ease of use of the website and Zoom interface. The diversity of instructors. Love! Also, the price structure and friends/fam opportunity. Very humane, very welcoming, very well-done!"

I'm Debra and I live in Bemidji, Minnesota, 100 miles from the Canadian border. Ompractice is an online community of people who celebrate yoga. The teachers are wonderful - they make every practice meaningful and it feels like we are in class together. I have been practicing with OM Practice since the pandemic. I love Ompractice and can't imagine my life without it. I attend Lisa and Katy's classes by myself and Alyssa's classes with my 6 year old nephew. One piece of advice: Try many different classes -- there are so many to choose from that you'll find the classes that are best for you.

For years, I trekked to the gym for my weekly yoga class. I loved the class and the instructor, but I did not love traveling through ice and snow to get there. Now I do yoga practice at home in the cozy space I have set up. My favorite instructor is Beth Ciesco. I love that I can work at my own pace and at different times that work for me.

Hi Ompractice team, I've been holding off writing to you because I know I can't make this short! I'm writing from my hometown: Clarksville, TN which is near the Ft. Campbell, KY military base and about an hour outside of Nashville. I took my first yoga class in 2009 and immediately knew I'd found something that meant a lot to me. Between 2009 and 2017 I cycled through various teachers, different yoga styles, studios opening and closing. I was thinking recently that I probably wouldn't have found out about Ompractice if I didn't live in a military town, but my last in-person teacher, Danielle Compton, told me about it back in 2017. I believe she knew Lisa R. from the platform. The truth is I never want to go back to the studio. That probably sounds extreme, but taking classes from my home has been the most natural progression in my practice. I live with pain that is sometimes debilitating, but yoga (and specifically Ompractice teachers) never asks me to give more than I'm able. Whether or not I can fully participate in a sequence doesn't matter here. I can have as many props and blankets as I need to support me without worrying about distracting those around me. That's just not that case in a studio setting. I feel truly supported by all the teachers I'm able to practice with here. During all the years of studio practice, I would always have one, maybe two teachers that really resonated with me. Living in a military town along with natural progression, that individual often changed. There is no way I can pick one class or one teacher as my favorite. Niki is probably one of the top yoga teachers in the country. Prema and Yely are also my #1's. The three of them offer completely different experiences, yet give me so much to look forward to. Classes on Ompractice are easily one of the most important aspects in my day to day life. I do think learning from a virtual platform could be difficult for a beginner. I would recommend Yely's beginner classes on Thursday mornings. Despite not being a beginner, I still learned so much from those classes every week before I had to return to the office full time after having a hybrid remote schedule. I seriously miss those classes! In my city, heated yoga is still popular. Personally, I think a heated practice is awful and definitely not for a beginner, so a virtual platform does have the benefit of practicing in a temperature that you feel most comfortable in going for it. All in all, I think Ompractice has plenty to offer for beginners. I never stop raving to everyone around me about Ompractice and everyone knows I'm tied up during my class times. I never stop learning and growing from the amazing women of Ompractice!

My name is Robin and I live in upstate NY. I’m an RYT-500 registered yoga teacher. I found Ompractice through a friend. I never thought practicing online would be the same as a studio but boy was I wrong. I love that I can check the schedule each day and jump into a class that interests me literally at the last minute. It’s okay if my hair isn’t done and I’m wearing no makeup. I come as I am. I set up my dedicated yoga space, light some incense and I’m in, whether it’s at 6:30 a.m. or 9:00 p.m. No driving in the cold winter weather. My absolute favorite class is IRest Yoga Nidra with Annie Okerlin but I also love Lisa Rischitelli’s Power Yoga. Another great new teacher is Allison Jeraci who offers Yoga Nidra. I’ve only taken one class I didn’t enjoy — all the rest were awesome. As a yoga teacher myself, Ompractice teachers give me so much inspiration to offer sequences to my own students. My advice is to try Ompractice! You simply cannot beat the price, especially when you compare it to the cost of class cards found in studios that expire.

I'm Janice, Ompractice is part of my United Health Care Insurance. I love the online classes. It saves me time because there is no driving to a gym. Gurney, Sharif, and Marie are my favorite teachers. If I sign up for a class I have an obligation to myself be there. I take QiGong, Tai Chi, and Chair yoga. I'm 72 years old and the classes have improved my balance and flexibility. We all have a responsibility to be a partner in our overall health. Thanks, Janice

I was injured while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard but life rocked on and at the age of 37 old injuries caught up with me and caused major physical damage. PT helped but it wasn’t enough for me. I discovered Ompractice through my V.A. Jane Cargill and Alice Riccardi, Ompractice yoga instructors, provide wonderful classes for assisting in gently rebuilding, strengthening and stretching damaged muscle tissue. Jane offers evening classes calming the mind and exercising the body for restful sleep. Alice’s yin yoga class has helped me wonders in repairing damaged myofacial tissue. I encourage you to take their classes if you have prior injuries and in need for mental relaxation.
