Some even made me cry...e.g. Ron Baker 'What I learned from Walt Disney' And Rowena Millward even got me at the end with 'Halo'. Preparing for disruption and the constant changes in our industry was my biggest takeaway from today. I especially loved the Walt Disney Story session and its moments of magic—it was inspiring and practical.

Rowena Millward's session truly helped me to identify my vision/mission, my Why, for my business. This has now given me, or reminded me of, the answer to my question;Who is my Ideal Client? I lost sight of this along the way. Now this has set me off again to be clear on my next steps to build my business. I LOVED Mark Wickersham's presentation. So much practical and helpful information for me as a sole owner/worker in my business. ChatGPt has become my part-time business and brain-storming assistant. I’d absolutely recommend it to others.

Kind of say to what a massive effort, putting all that together by the team to put all that together for 2 days and the idea that we can go back and look at specific sessions is perfect, It was just amazing effort to put it all together.

I used what I learned about ROI during Day 1 with Debra Angilleta in a call with a new client that same night and was able to close him. That's $5,400 per year for the bookkeeping plus an additional $1,500 for the tax returns.

What I like most about the The Successful Bookkeeper Summit was how practical and varied it was. So many great nuggets to take away. Every bookkeeper should be part of this community, in some form.

There were several valuable things I learned at The Successful Bookkeeper Summit, but totally loved the session by Chris Williams and Jeremy Allen, and there were so many nuggets in that session alone. My favourite session by far was How to build and sell a multimillion Dollar Bookkeeping practice.

How to Master Selling for your Bookkeeping Business with Debra was wonderful. She's such an enthusiastic and engaging speaker and I found that she had really great information to share.

The biggest takeaway is value pricing. There is a monetary value to everything. "If I could solve your problem, how much is that worth to you?" "If I could save you 8 hours a day to focus on other areas of your business how much is that worth to you?" - Brilliant 🧠

The most valuable thing I learned from The Successful Bookkeeper Summit was I do not have to continue on my current path... there is so many options that are available to give all of us not just a life, but a profitable life. I wound up becoming engrossed in all of the presentations, great info was shared today. I enjoyed all of them but was pleasantly surprised by The presentation on Apps by Jessica Fox.

The first session with Amanda was SO HELPFUL relating simplifying the proposal process while also adding details. The tip on scheduling 2 hours after a discovery call to work on the proposal was GENIUS.

Just how enjoyable an event like this can be even though others would regard this as a dry topic.

There were a couple of "inspiration" moments. My most relevant session was Defeating Average... the "Ask Yourself" portions were astounding.

The most valuable thing I learned at The Successful Bookkeeper Summit was there are tools and systems available as well as people to help me grow my business. The way we've been working to scale got us to this point but it won't get us to the next level. The summit. has introduced a new way of looking at the business which is energizing!

My favorite part of the session was the 'Build your Business with Positivity'. It was full of great takeaways and I really liked Debra's session with the chart on how to look at each area of the business and the exercise she gave us to do around that.

It was great to have so many different ideas all in one place. It made it so easy to gather such useful information!

I am just starting out with my bookkeeping business. All of these sessions provided value to me today. Once the summit is over I feel I have all the information I need to sit down and write a plan for my business that incorporates a solution for processes, use of technology, proposals, and how to move to advisory, which is what I am most interested in.
