TTW offered another way to study the bible one book at a time, verse by verse. I have studied using another app that also walked me throught the bible verse by verse and I was glad to find a second option. I wanted to really know what the bible says and the facts surrounding the written words such as when they were written, who they were written to and why, Often teachers provide their interpretations and opinions. I wanted to find a study that sticks to the facts and what was written with validated explanations. If there is no conclusive or validated explanation, I respect hearing it said that we just don't know the who, what or why. TTW helps me know God and know my need for a Savior deeper than I had before. I see time and time again how loving and just God is. I was convicted when a pastor said that many of us are biblically illiterate. We are satisfied with going to church once a week and hearing the preachings. I was convicted to become less biblically illiterate. I love studing every day. The bible is not a read it once and done kind of book. I learn something new everytime I study. Anyone who truly studies what the bible says will love God and know we are loved by God no matter what. We need Grace in our world and the Bible and love of Christ is the only place and person to find it.

The Through the Word app opens my eyes, ears and heart to Biblical truths, and inspires me to go deeper into God's word to get the revelation and understanding for myself. Many years ago, I tried to read the Bible from front to back, without any historical context or human contact. Sure, I finished it, but it went completely over my head and didn't get much help from it. Now, with the help of TTW and Sunday school, I finally started to understand what God's grace meant, and how Jesus came to save all those who believe. TTW brings in many Bible teachers, who offer insightful commentary that gives listeners that much more clarity and context beyond the mere text itself. I thank God for TTW, and I pray that it will reach more and more people in the world!

I am a 72 yr old ‘Papa’ with 6 grandkids….from our two kids. I invited the oldest from each home to join me in a ‘face-time’ Bible study every Sunday evening (we live 2 hrs apart). They are 15 and 13. We started this about 6 months ago and having a great time. I offered to stop if they wanted to but they insisted to keep doing them. Made my heart very happy. I have shared/encouraged friends to give it a try. My tip/advice…. Don’t take it personal if it doesn’t work every time. Schedules have canceled half of them…but always with comments to keep doing them. Thanks again for what you’re doing. It’s very helpful for me personally as well as for my family.

Through the Word has been so great for my growth toward God and as a better person! I have learned so much from listening that I would never had gotten from just reading the Bible. Things make sense that I would read and think, "what in the world does that mean? why?" I love my daily devotional plans. I slap on my earphones and listen while I cook or from my bluetooth in the car when I'm driving. I rarely listen to just one chapter because I feel hungry for the knowledge. TTW has helped both my husband and I grow toward God and each other. I have shared the plan via text with several friends who are now hooked! We will be taking a long road trip next week and believe that the marriage plan will be great to listen to each day on the road. Thank you so very much for this awesome ministry! I have been listening to YouVersion for many years. I have listened to a lot of plans and this year I started listening Through the Word. I found a lot of them and safe them that way I have them when I finish on series. I can start another series. Since I started listening Through the Word, I have not missed a day. It keeps me listening that I can finish a journey in my app. I am glad that I was able to find this appt. It helped me to know God better. My friend has passed away and I do not go out that much.
