As a first timer to Umrah, the Muttawif (Uztaz Aidil Hanafiah and team) had thoughtfully ensured that I understood all the manasik before the pilgrimage, provided a simple, concise and straightforward Umrah booklet that was easy to learn from and refer to (as compared to other Umrah booklets), and proactively guided me throughout the entire manasik – ensuring that my ibadah was correct, calm, and satisfactory every step of the way. In terms of accommodation, the hotels that this agency chose (Jumeirah and Sofitel) were conveniently located near Masjid Al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi – allowing me to walk back and forth within 5 minutes. The hotels themselves were also comfortable and user-friendly due to how close they were to established supermarkets, money exchangers, and pharmacies while their rooms were very cosy and well-maintained. Their in-house breakfast and dinner were wide in variety and were all delicious – truly 5 stars. The Muttawif themselves were also professional, knowledgeable, proactive, and were a breeze to be around – the way they explained Ilm of Mecca and Medina was not only clear and insightful, but also very engaging.
