Just about a year ago I started trading with Mike Navarette. Prior to this I had learned the basics of trading with a different system. I was hesitant to try a new system but I knew that I had not learned enough and I was really interested in growing and getting better as a trader. My wife and I stumbled upon one of Mike’s classes by accident. On this first class I was drawn to his teaching style and his breakdown of the markets and wanted to see more. I began taking his classes every day and immediately clicked with his process and wanted to learn Smart Money. I completely submerged myself into his videos that taught the inner workings of Smart Money. This view of the markets completely changed the way I perceived the charts as a trader. I learned so much and quickly started to take this education to the charts and follow his daily classes to live trade with Mike. Having the ability to trade every day with a mentor has been so instrumental to my evolution as a trader. Charts aside, the biggest gap in my ability of a trader was my psychology when it came to the markets. I used to be frustrated with the markets and trading. In my old trading system, I didn’t have a trading plan that taught me discipline and how to have a clear sense of RISK. I realized I was risking too much. Mike had live psychology sessions and tons of videos from prior sessions. I went through all of them and learned that I need to reset the mind to ever be a good trader. I joined Tradetopia in May 2025. When I first joined, seeing others posting their wins stressed me out because I didn’t have the same success. I learned a lot about myself during that time. I learned that I was envious, I learned that I was lazy, and I learned how impatient I am. My life is different since I started trading. After joining Tradetopia and watching the live sessions and the Classroom lessons, I stopped blowing my accounts. I am currently a funded trader with a Topstep $50k account, and I was able to withdraw my first $880. I didn’t realize it at the time, but my perspective completely changed, and it truly disgusts me how I was before. I am now much more disciplined, though my discipline is still not at 100 percent, and neither is my psychology. There are many days when I still feel strong FOMO and impatience, but compared to the past, I can reset by the next trade most of the time. If not, I have the control to lock myself out, reflect, and move on, which shows how much I’ve grown.

My identity has changed for the better , my skills at technical analysis is on point. I am at an all time high and making all time highs consistently in my mentality, trading and psychology.
