Ross’ program is absolutely outstanding. I am a retired Finance guy with zero background on power let alone van power systems. That said, I decided to challenge myself to learn something new and build the van of my dreams exactly the way I wanted it. That is when I came across Ross’ program. Watched a couple of his free videos and I was sold. He gives you literally everything you need to learn and install the system that best fits your needs. His written materials coupled with videos and diagrams are clear and easy to follow, even for a neophyte like me. His parts lists with hyperlinks to add them to your Amazon shopping list is a huge bonus! What you will find is that you are just doing a sequence of projects that are building on your complete system. Done this way, you will find your project is not overwhelming. So, me the neophyte decided to go for the Big Bang “go live. I kid you not, I started flipping switches and watching monitors and devices and that freakin van just came alive. EVERTHING was working! Battery, solar, alternator charger, shore power, 12v and 120v interior power. Air conditioner, ceiling fan/vent. Take your time and follow the program closely and you totally got this. Your van exactly the way you want it built, and if you find down the road (literally) you need to trouble shoot, you got it! Having spent about 20 weeks in the van and covered the country, I can honestly say this is one of the most fulfilling accomplishments I’ve experienced. This is a no regrets decision. Ross takes you from an absolute beginner to a competent solar technician. I love how he can have a laugh at himself and his mistakes which makes him very relatable. The explanations are delivered at a good pace and Ross explains in depth things in a way that makes it understandable.

Great presentation and information even though I am not building out a van. I used the information to better understand how to add solar to my motorhome, change to a larger lithium battery bank and larger inverter/charger, and incorporate B2B charging. The wire and cable sizing was very helpful information. Some of the presentation was very basic but a refresher is always useful and he corrected some misconceptions I had. Highly recommend.

I started out trying to replace AGM battteries with Lithium and it wasn't until I saw one of Ross's videos that I started to get an idea of what I was in for. After watching the way he taught, the clarity of delivery and information I decided to sign up for the Masterclass. I don't think that material is presented as well anywhere else. Lots of info on the web is helpful, but this class took me by the hand and I went from overwhelmed to decisions. This is Stuart. I'm a retired landscape architect that knows a lot about the environment. In 2018 I bought a 4x4 Sprinter high roof 2500 Cargo van and slowly but surely (3 yrs) made my way through a complete build out such that we can go camping any time of year ...as long as it's cool. We don't have A/C in the rear, but the list of what we do have, mostly because of Ross' information, is extensive. When I started I knew NOTHING about wiring, layout, and the equipment needed to make an all season camper. Ross' diagrams and equipment lists helped me 1000% along the way. When it came down to finally figuring out what I needed, and where to put/attach/size/etc. I knew the right questions to ask and then the expected answers BECAUSE Ross spelled it out. Yes, I did have someone nearby check my work, but when they asked I could show them the answer and the work. (One added lesson I've learned: Don't trust some off the wall manufacturer's snap in lighting connections - they will fail. Make a soldered connection!!!!) I now have an entire Victron system powering peace and quiet for weeks at a time, miles off the paved roads, even when totally snow covered. Using the Van Power Master class has let me sleep soundly at night; no worries of being out of power and cold when I'm 20 miles off the pavement. No worries of short circuits. I can wake up to fresh brewed tea; come back from hiking and know the frig-freezer is adequately powered so we can relax with a cold drink. THANK YOU ROSS!!!

Started the Van Power Masterclass when my 2008 Ford van with only a 1 year old inverter took a dump. Not being electrically savvy enough to jump in myself but having strong mechanical skills, I knew enough to wait until I found the right person to team up with and seeing some of Ross’s videos, I looked deeper into his program and jumped in that same day. I may have missed the whole thing if I did not see the 3 payment plan option, was more on my plate than just the van, immediately started the course. Maybe the best part is doing it at my own speed, maybe it was using the hour long conference call that helped me get things on track. Maybe it’s the detail that Ross has used in his presentations. And possibly it was just that Ross made me feel comfortable asking questions, receiving solid advice that played out well every time. Really, as I think about it, the knowledge and willingness to share his insights with everyone on the planet and somehow it is me that has benefited the most thru this course and no doubt the van will be top notch with this new power system I’m installing. Hi. I’m a retired millworker. I own an extended E 350 Van. I have lived in my vans as I traveled to various jobs but never had any luxuries. Now I’ve beefed up my van as I like out of the way places. I’m a novice and love to overland. Have a Chevy 2500 with an Atlas topper. Looking to add solar, shore power, alternator power to 200ah battery pack. Simple is what I want.
