We recently went to Paris to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and knew we wanted to incorporate a local Paris wine bar tour and a trip to Champagne as part of our itinerary. We booked an evening in Paris touring local wine bars with Tanisha – Girl Meets Glass and a private day trip to Champagne. The wine tasting tour gave us a slice of Parisian life in the best way possible. We walked to several different wine bars, tasted through sparkling, white, and red wines and were able to sample appetizers at each location. Throughout the tour Tanisha was able to weave the learning process in while we were having fun taking in the local scene. It helped me on my wine journey to be able to taste wines that I wouldn’t be able to easily access back home and ask questions. Our day trip to Champagne was fantastic and our itinerary was a surprise! Claude, our driver, and Tanisha picked us up on time and we appreciated their punctuality and professionalism throughout the tour. We had requested to go to smaller houses (Grower Champagne) and our tour included 1 large house and 2 grower champagne houses. We loved being able to see the difference in the scale of production between the houses and of course tasting all the champagne. We had a lovely lunch in Epernay and a beautiful drive through the countryside. The best thing about our wine tasting is the unforgettable memories. Tanisha provided an absolutely perfect in home wine and food tasting experience that weeks later, we are still talking about! My grandparents and mom were visiting Paris, and I wanted to give them a wine tasting experience in my home. Tanisha was recommended on a facebook group. Communication was great from the start. Tanisha arrived at my house with everything needed (she even offered to bring glasses). The experience was fun, informative and TASTY. My husband and I had an amazing time learning about French wines during our tour with Tanisha. She is as affable as she is knowledgeable, and she gave us the language we needed to choose the wines we like best moving forward. We even ended our tour at an amazing little gin bar, after I mentioned my love of the spirit. It was the perfect way to end our time in Paris.

What we learned and experienced was incredible! All the winemakers selected by Tanisha were welcoming experts that really took the time to make us feel special. The overall investment was a phenomenal value for what we received in terms of education and tastings. Highly recommend!
