The value of Jay Johnson’s XC Training was completely worth the money. 


I loved the Pre-Warm up routine, workouts, and post run. The 3 Phases, videos, calendar, emails, and the daily plan were so easy to follow, perfectly laid out. Plus, Jay Johnson would answer my questions and help in any way I needed it. 

The XC Training system kept my runners injury free. My team doesn't have depth, so this was important. In the past, my teams could not get as far in the Postseason due to injuries. The Post Race Progression was a key to prevention for the team and also helped get my runners overall physically fit. 

Jay Johnson’s XC Training was a game changer for me. I have been coaching for a while and always struggled with injuries and the Post-Season workouts(too much, too little etc.). Post-Season Workouts and emails were the best parts of the program for me. 

I had a young team, and we had a very successful year especially in the Postseason. I had 6 Runners All-League, Boys SOC 2 champs, 2 All District Honors, both my Boys and Girls teams made it to Regionals, and my senior boy made it for the 4th year to the State Meet. This was the best he had ever done earning All-Ohio honors and All Academic Honors. 


This is what he said to the newspaper about the season and State Meet: “ I just finally ran my race this year. I went out slowly, like 5:05. Then I just kept on passing people over and over. That was the big thing–just running my race. It was a great feeling to finally go out as the best I could be. It is my greatest season. I feel stronger this year.”
