I'm a home brewer in the UK and I've always liked 'Belgian beers' . Why use speechmarks? Well, because I'd be limited to macro brews without information that Belgian Smaak and others have given me on the range of beers and culture in Belgium beyond what I'll see on shop shelves or hear on the Internet.
