
I joined The PhD People’s writing sprint in January after feeling stuck and unsure about my progress. Having tried so many approaches over the years, I wasn’t too optimistic, but the one-month writing sprint turned out to be exactly what I needed. I completed my final chapter and met my deadline—an incredible milestone for me. Shifting from writing only when I felt motivated to a structured daily writing routine helped me regain confidence and a sense of control over my PhD. I feel excited about my research for the first time in years which has made all the difference. There are still challenging days but the PhD People have provided a community and support system that I can lean on. I highly recommend their support to anyone struggling because it has made such a significant impact on my work and how I feel about it! :)
