After taking The Torch, I've found that I can take a much more active role in conversations and leadership situations. With the countless skills, techniques, and patterns we've discussed, I can operate above the conversation, noticing things I wouldn't have even thought to look for before. And since opportunities for these skills occur in practically every interaction, there has been a very real impact on my life. I think the Torch is helpful for the typical young man because he can become confident in interactions, not passively following where it takes him but being able to look ahead, see where he's going, and make adjustments if necessary.
