I came to Conor because of extensive chronic pain from almost 20 years of competitive jiu jitsu and then two pregnancies and births. The chronic pain included hip impingement, arthritis in knees, hip, and ankle, nearly constant lower back pain, and other inflammation throughout my body that was tough to diagnose. I think the only fear and concern I came in with was when Conor said he could promise me a pain free body in 3 months. I’ve spent years and years trying everything out there for my issues- chiropractors, Rolfing, regular massages, acupuncture, physical therapy, surgery, many doctors- and only ever got very temporary relief. So part of me was trying to be realistic that this might not work either. Thankfully, I was wrong. The first big win was after the first session. It was like the perfect fit key came in and unlocked my back and hips. I felt a difference after only an hour of one on one time and then doing my prescribed homework over the next two weeks. Since then it’s been nothing but up. My body has changed dramatically since starting. Not only do I feel lighter, stronger, and pain free, my body composition has changed too. I’m recognizing a younger version of myself that so many other health professionals told me was gone because I’m older and have put my body through a lot. My outlook on aging, training, and what does strong/flexible/mobile really mean has changed. What I like most about working with Conor is his magic-like ability to coach you through adjustments, and his intuition with how to push you. He’s the best out there, I’m an iso movement cult follower now for sure 😅.

My right hip brought me here; I would have periods of soreness, and if not that, periods of time during which I could not activate the muscles on that side at will. I would have periods where the pain would also begin to involve my left hip, as well as my feet (where I had begun to experience flattened arches as well). My biggest concern was that the process would be a waste of time and money - another resource that would provide yet more information to overload; that it would prove unhelpful at worst and transiently helpful at best. Those fears were put to rest early in the process, because of your energy, the logic of the methodology, and the ability to notice results right away. My first big win was performing a lunge. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why they would look lopsided, and why I couldn't feel a thing when performing one. It took a few weeks after they were introduced, but one day it clicked and I felt hopeful and excited. Life has more possibility after these results. I feel even more hopeful I can stay out of an OR in the near future, and I learned that my anatomy does not have as much power over me as I had originally thought. I liked how you would call me out on my shit, but in a gentle, loving way. I don't respond well to the "yelly" type of trainer, and it was like you instinctively knew that.

One day I was just watching a reel about some dude, I remembered thinking wow this guy is controversial he is not subjected to the norm, I like it. That is Conor. Quite honestly I am not an athlete, I can’t even call myself a fanatic in sports. Really just another human with a lot of joint pains into her 30s and questioning do we have to live with these pain. So when Conor spoke about a pain free life, boy I was sold. These movements have drastically changed the quality of life I experience with my body, I know I am on my way to feeling more free than ever. I have now abolish these nasty heel pains, and have used the same education to help my aunt and some friends to walk in ways their heels no longer ache ! It also allowed me to experience what integrity in my body truly feels like, with that, I had the courage to also made some major shifts in my career, my living environment and my relationships. Conor’s craft had the ability to basically bring my body back to its homeostasis and after trying it a couple of times, I found balance as my state of being. That’s when I realise this movements is art that we are practising. And this is an art I want my body to experience everyday, you know you would too

Conor is a wizard. His movement training has changed how my body feels and given me the tools to eliminate my knee pain while running. But it's not just that; his approach to life and his way of being have been a huge influence on me. Movement with Conor ends up being a practice of becoming who you want to be, and group coaching has been an amazing way to explore that. I get to ask questions to Conor directly and see the movement of people who are ahead in the program, which is great motivation. It's not easy work but it's deeply rewarding. I can't recommend it enough.

Happy to re-engage with Conor again after a few years. Working with him pre-pandemic changed my life. I was out of shape, working too much, not investing in myself and my body. After working with Conor for a few years, I was in a much better place.

I contacted Conor to help me address debilitating chronic pain in my neck and shoulder that had me maxed out on pain medication for multiple years. What drew me to him was how much I could relate to the concepts in his content - it all just made sense. When I saw him talk about finding & addressing the actual root of the pain, instead of just treating the symptoms, I knew I had to start working with him. Without knowing a lot of my history, his questions helped him immediately hone in on the places where I had historically experienced pain & difficulty with my body. His confidence in how his program could address my pain helped me believe for the first time in ages that it would actually be possible to live pain free again. Within 5 weeks I was no longer living day to day on pain killers, and over the following months I watched my body grow stronger & more capable as he took me through his program - learning how to properly use & move with my muscles again and then slowly chipping away at problematic movement patterns. For the first time in almost 20 years, I have a tool kit I can use to get myself out of pain - it's incredibly empowering and this is easily the best investment I've made in myself! Some of the most unexpected results of my work with Conor though, have been how it's impacted my mental health and my approach to life. Conor has coached me through facing the fear of my pain, where I've been holding myself back, and has helped me achieve things I didn't think were physically possible for me. All of this has spilled over and transformed other areas of my life. Through his support & insight I've learned more about myself than I ever expected to, and that may be the most profound impact of all.

I started working with Conor to gain strength and to help with posture , balance, and back pain. I was a little afraid, even though I'm athletic, that at 64 that his workouts would be too dynamic. Conor met me where I was. He was patient, encouraging, and motivating. Conor begins with VERY basic moves. I mean like walking. I was very surprised that even with his cues how difficult the balance aspect was. Also standing in alignment. I think the whole first few months I kept saying to him "OK is this straight?" And it wasn't but it was getting better each time. We were making good progress when i needed spinal surgery. That set me back for almost 8 months. After completing my physical therapy, I started back with Conor. He got me to the point of full recovery. What I love about the skills I've learned with Conor is that I now know how to run the cues and correct my movements. If I'm feeling any particular pain in any area of my body, I can do my calibration exercises with the cues and before I know it, the pain is gone. I think the best thing about working with Conor is his sense of humor and his patience. The depth of his knowledge is impressive. It has been a life-changing experience working with Conor for which I will forever be grateful.

After a horseback riding accident at the beginning of 2022, I was left with chronic back pain that made even the simplest tasks feel like a challenge. It hurt to breathe, sleep, sit, you name it. 😩 And the pain wasn't just in my back; it radiated through my neck and shoulders too. I went to 3 different physical therapists who were all highly recommended, and I did a year of rehab, and I got some relief but not enough. Nothing REALLY seemed to work. 😢 I was having breakdowns regularly, feeling like that was just how the rest of my life was going to be, and it sucked. I felt totally hopeless. In 2023, I was referred by my therapist to Conor and the Out Of Pain Program, and OMG it changed my life. In just two months, I started having pain-free days – something I hadn't felt in over a year. 🎉 A month later, I started to actually forget about the pain because I was going weeks without pain. I put away my heating pad for the first time in TOO long and it felt SO. DAMN. GOOD. I'm so beyond grateful to Conor for helping me regain my confidence and my physical strength in a way I didn't even have before the accident. 🥹 I can now enjoy my life and participate in activities without having to worry so much about my back! If you're tired of living in pain and bouncing between physical therapists and treatments that don't deliver, give this program a shot. ❤️ Don't even waste time debating it.

I was referred by a friend who had been experiencing knee pain and I was looking for alternatives to surgery. To say I was skeptical is an understatement, particularly since it’s a virtual program, but after the initial assessment, I had absolute confidence that Conor understood my situation and would be able to help me achieve the results I was looking for. After three months, my knee fluid and pain have almost completely resolved, and I am confident that continuing to follow the protocols will result in complete recovery. This is no cookie cutter program. I am a 61-year-old, post-menopausal woman, who has been very active in terms of my career and also as a CrossFit athlete for the last 15 years, and Conor has been able to dynamically customize the needs of my regimen seamlessly as we have progressed. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Conor, as surgery was about the only alternative I had left. His understanding of and approach to human movement is remarkable, and he is able to convey that knowledge in a manner that not only makes sense, but is also easy to incorporate into everyday life. He possesses all the qualities of a great coach, but most importantly, he truly cares about helping you reach your fullest potential.

My right side felt tight and restricted in movement, specifically my right hip and ankle. My biggest fears about working together were all around my ability to trust myself and that this type of movement was enough to create the changes in my body. Watching myself move through this and show up almost daily has supported me in building a stronger more trusting relationship with myself. I've also seen my body change and feel the difference in the muscles activated throughout my everyday life outside of training. My first big win actually feels like its happened in the last week, I've started to build awareness around a pattern that has kept looping in a cycle. The pattern is about my ability to trust that the steady progress im making is enough to guide me into the version of myself that i know i am but have yet to embody in all areas of life. Its taken 3.5/ 4 months for this to become apparent. It feels really exciting to see this pattern that ive felt so stuck in, I feel like im at a tipping point. Life feels like its requiring my full attention and awareness because this pattern is showing itself in a couple of the bigger areas of my life. I love how honest my body is and how Conor's ability to interpret that honesty feels spot on. I love how the changes that I'm experiencing through this are spiraling out into so many areas of my life. I also love how this is inviting me to create a stronger relationship to my big WHY

Before working with Conor I was doing HIIT classes regularly, but also feeling pain and soreness more than I had liked to admit. I have lived with a torn labrum in my hip as well as a limited ACL from previous tear for a number of years and the way I was running, biking and lifting weights was not helping ease my body from pain associated with these injuries. I was referred to Conor to seek a new way of moving my body and after our first consultation I knew I wanted to work together with him. The knowledge, charisma, passion and approach to moving the body all intrigued me. I went through all levels of his program but after the first month I was already noticing changes in the way my body felt, my posture and the way I viewed “working out”. I had never felt so light, accessible and athletic, even though I grew up playing sports and weight trained for many years. It was a different mind and body shift for the better, not to mention Conor made me feel so empowered and capable. After having worked with Conor for a year, I can truly say what he is teaching is unmatched. My body has never looked or felt this good. I have a whole new approach and mindset on how to move and feel great doing so. I recently found out I have new bone growth in my hip which was causing some pain and rather than going to physical therapy (which was recommended), I went back to the basics of what I learned with Conor and within a week I was able to alleviate my body from the pain and feel even more incredible than I had previously. Conor is an amazing person all around and if you have the chance to work with him, you won’t regret a second of it. I’m so thankful for having the opportunity to meet and work with him!

When I began working with Conor I was experiencing persistent lower back pain that had me at a loss as I felt I was doing everything “right” Conor’s movement and 1:1 coaching transformed so much more than my lower back pain Conor asks the tough questions and has developed a practice bridging the mind body connection in the most profound of ways I have never shown up for myself in the way I have over the past three months and I cannot thank Conor enough for holding such a clear goal driven vision for me I honestly am just excited to build and see where we go from here :) Life’s wild Thank you, Conor!

Conor is one of the biggest influences on my life. He is an amazing coach, mentor, and friend. When I first met him, I was dealing with a left scapular injury, tight hamstrings, and an insanely tight t-spine. I could barely play a sport or workout without feeling worse after and constantly reinjuring myself. My biggest fear when I started working with Conor was not being perfect. I had a mental strategy that if I did not do something perfectly, I was unloveable, and I suck. Conor so lovingly helped me break down this perfectionism and taught me to love the process of being a beginner. He taught me how to have fun while learning a new skill instead of hating myself for not being good immediately, which, honestly, no one is perfect at anything right away 😂. Once I regained this love for being a beginner, he taught me how to be my own coach and use my body and tools to inform me where I am and what I need to do to accomplish my physical goals. These lessons were so valuable because I was building self-confidence through movement. I was learning how to show up for myself and be 1% better every day. I didn't need to destroy my body daily to feel like I accomplished something; I learned to play the long game. I could identify the difference between what I need and what I want. I learned that focusing on what I need, or what my body needs, will get me to where I want to be faster than focusing on what I want. Frankly, I could talk for hours about how Conor changed my life. However, one statement that Conor said will always stick with me he said "I build character, not physique. I just learned that the quickest way to build character was through movement." That is what Conor did for me; he helped me rebuild my character through movement. I am forever grateful for how beautiful my body moves through space now and how effortlessly I can pick up new sports or physical activities. But, the biggest win I achieved with Conor was going from someone who blamed the world and external events for how my life was to owning what I wanted in life and using the skills Conor taught me to go and make them a reality.

I first came to Conor about four years ago as a new mother with constant hip flexor pain. We began by working on things like how to lift my toddler son, push a stroller, etc., but quickly revealed were a host of dysfunctions that I had never properly addressed or known how to. I never thought I’d work with a personal trainer because I imagined being yelled at to do endless reps by a drill sergeant seeking superficial and short-term results. It was immediately evident that this would not be the case with Conor - that the focus would be health and longevity rooted in education and awareness, which matched my goals. I also discovered that he would push me hard but appropriately and even more so, encourage me to push myself. What also quickly became clear is that his work transcends the physical. While I came to him with physical pain, my larger issues were poor stress management and not prioritizing myself and my well-being. I began to learn how good breathing and other important habits and high-intensity workouts (physical stress) could simulate how I respond to mental stress. I started to feel empowered and confident to begin the process of re-discovering/re-inventing myself and living more intentionally in the same way that I was learning to move more intentionally and optimally. He taught me to like hard physical and mental work and no longer shy away from things that are uncomfortable or come with risk because I was prepared. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the body, and it always blows my mind how he knows exactly the pain I describe and how to fix it. His unique and groundbreaking philosophy on movement is contagious, illuminating, and life-changing. I have never considered myself “athletic,” but I am now doing exercises, activities, and more than I ever would have thought possible. I hold myself to a higher standard in all aspects of my life now because of him, and I’m eternally thankful.

I first came to Conor about four years ago as a new mother with constant hip flexor pain. We began by working on things like how to lift my toddler son, push a stroller, etc., but quickly revealed were a host of dysfunctions that I had never properly addressed or known how to. Before working with Connor I had a lingering lower back & hip flexor pain. That led to less confidence and control over my movements, simple things like crouching to clean or to put on my shoes were more effortful than they should for someone in their early 30s. My biggest fear heading into it was - is this worth it & will it work? It's a sizable investment and nobody else is teaching this method of movement & personal training on insta, etc. Two very athletic friends turned me onto Conor and said it worked for them. Friends & family were skeptical but I followed him on insta for 6mo and then made the decision to start together. I knew I was getting somewhere when my lower back pain went away in the first 30 days after working with Conor. Now it's been gone 6mo and hasn't poked it's head out. I'm also more mindful of my movements - strengths & weaknesses and I love it. Walking & running feels different - more springy. Crouching feels more stable. Confidence is high. Conor always kept it real, pushed me, but wasn't a drill sergeant. I've never done personal training in any form but this was the perfect partnership for me. Thank you Conor!

Constant upper and lower back pain that limited my ability to stay active was my main reason for working with Conor. Little did I know that I’d be receiving a truly comprehensive movement education. I’ve learned to move properly and efficiently and two years later I’m stronger than ever and have less pain than 10 years ago at 25 years old. It’s been a hard process but with good effort I think anyone can get these results. Conor’s system has given me the freedom I’ve always looked for. I do movement/workout 6-7 days a week, hard. And recover fine. My posture is better than ever. I no longer fear any sort of movements. No more throwing my back out for no reason. I had to lose a lot of ideas I thought were true about movement but once I did the freedom presented itself. Use the spine to move, don’t brace around it 💯💯💯 Conor’s system is worth every penny you invest. And if you trust and try it a few months im 100% certain you’ll agree. I am an acupuncturist and own a clinic in philly. I refer all of my patients to Conor over PT at this point because his system is so foundational and holistic. No more spit treatment via PT, now my patients fix their whole body at once. And for good. 10/10 recommend for all humans. Better investment than most anything material item you can own.

Before meeting Conor I didn’t know how to move. I was literally moving in a nonhuman way - we laugh now as we look back, or at least I do. I came into this experience with no physical injuries and no chronic physical pain. Working with Conor, however, illuminated how much I carried on an emotional and deeper level than just physical. The physical was a mirror of what I was going through emotionally. Working with Conor changed my life and I would have paid a lot more than what he charged me for the results I got - namely a new relationship to my body and understanding how to move. In three months I can tell you I’m a new person. Conor is a loving and supportive guide through this process and I truly feel like he’s tapped into something greater that he’s channeling through - not to be all woo woo but sue me I will be. Anyway - best money I have literally ever spent and I can’t wait to continue working with him/using his online platform.

I was having constant discomfort in my left side - starting at my shoulder all the way down to my calf. My sciatica was at a point that I just thought that was the norm and what my life was moving forward. I was consistently strength training and would wake up feeling much worse after every session, whether it be doing a leg day, back day, shoulder day, stair master - anything. It was mentally and physically exhausting. Some fears I had starting with Conor was the fear of the unknown. I had been doing weight training consistently for about 5 years so I was very used to it, comfortable with it and didn't even know what to think with what the results were going to be from working with Conor. My first big win I would say was when I finally put my ego aside and stopped weight training after about a month of working with Conor. I finally accepted that the weights weren't working for me and I was only holding myself back from exceeding with Conor's program by continuing to move in ways in which my body didn't agree with. From there on out, my sciatica significantly got better and I started to see a lot more results physically and mentally. Life is great - there are definitely hard days and days where I get frustrated and impatient, but the feeling that I have found that happens after the workout that Conor has put together for me is amazing. I am constantly checking in on myself to see where my body is at and how my cues are doing throughout the day. I also now have more in my pocket when it comes to feeling better - I know the movements that make me feel better physically and mentally, which is an amazing feeling. I am not lost anymore! I like how Conor really lets you go on this journey on your own. He is there to help but he really has you figure all of this out on your own, which is I think super special. He is always there to answer questions and pushes you in such an encouraging way while also understanding that everyone moves and works at a different pace and takes that into consideration. I can't wait to continue working with and learning from Conor! And to also see all that I can accomplish as I continue this journey - I am hungrier than ever!
