I have always been an avid gym goer, but was not seeing the results I would have liked. I knew this was because I had not taken the time to properly focus on nutrition. I worked with Ted to learn to track calories and set macro targets. I followed Ted's coaching plan and read all of the materials provided. I was able to hit my weight loss target while maintaining good body composition. Now, thanks to Ted, I have a better understanding of nutrition and a tool kit to use to maintain going forward. My workouts are going great and I am seeing the results.

I wanted to send my updated after photo. I'm eating more and leaner and stronger than ever. At the end of our 12 weeks I lost 13 pounds, and reduced my body fat percentage by 4.2%. I'm proud to say that I've kept tracking macros for the past year and now look at me!

At 56 years old, things are different than they were at 35 or 45. Weight loss and fitness are more challenging and require more work, much more. It was a home video that really woke me up. It was like someone had inflated me, and I was disgusted by what I saw. I tried the solitary method of trying to get myself into the gym, eating better. It worked maybe 10 percent of the time and the weight was increasing along with some depression at the lack of change. I happened to be with some friends talking about the subject and Coach Ted came up. My friend is in great shape, runs routine triathlons and marathons. I thought, why would you possibly need a health coach? Diet, accountability, positivity, and motivation were the reasons. So I signed up. And I am finally on the path I want and need. Weight is coming off (1/2 way to my goal), I'm eating better and am in better shape than I have been in years. No regrets.

am a 64 year old female…five feet 2 inches…starting weight 148.5 lbs. July 17, 2023 I started the Keto diet. I lost 10 pounds in the first month. Although there was successful weight loss, this diet was just not sustainable for me. Only being allowed 13 carbs, 78 protein and a whopping 81 grams of fat just wasn’t going to work for me. My daughter being concerned for me, came across the Macro solution and passed it on to me. I was very excited when I saw this program. Not only was I allowed to eat more carbs (101 grams), protein (97 grams)and a loss less fat (37 grams), this diet just made so much more sense. I was able to eat whatever I wanted as long as I stayed within my TDEE (calories) and my allotted macros. No more Keto flu and leg cramps. Long story short, I was able to lose 11 more pounds and that was without exercise! I was pretty proud of this but soon realized I had lost a lot of muscle mass in the process. Although I stayed within my calorie allotment I often didn’t eat my protein requirement but wasn’t too worried-I was losing weight slow and steady. I decided to go on Ted’s coaching program because I needed to gain back muscle mass and still lose ten more pounds. This wasn’t easy because as I was gaining muscle, I wasn’t able to lose weight very easily. At the end of my 12 week coaching program I only lost 4 1/2 lbs because I gained muscle since Ted helped me establish a healthy exercise program that I continue with to this day. My advice to everyone would be this…do the coaching program with Ted and make sure you exercise as well well as macro counting. You need to do both for healthy weight loss. Thanks Ted, for this program and your guidance. At a family gathering this past weekend, my fifteen year old nephew told his mother (my sister)that I looked ten years younger and after sharing this with me asked for the name of the program I was on. “Slow and steady does win the race!” My end weight was 125.5 lbs. I am happy with the progress I made and I feel great inside and out. Thanks again, Ted!

I wanted to lose weight and get in shape at the same time. I had put on around 30 pounds, switching from an active to a sedentary job. I had tried losing weight on my own by eating less and exercising, but I'd run out of energy by the time I got to the exercise part of my goal. Ted set me up with a plan that was simple to follow and gave me enough energy to build muscle and lose weight. I have lost approximately 20 pounds, while gaining at least 5 pounds of muscle in the process and I feel much better.

Following a balanced macro approach, I was able to stop skipping meals and lose 20 pounds without feeling hungry or experiencing a loss of energy. Ted offered helpful suggestions and encouragement along the way with our weekly check-ins. He also provided recipes and meal-planning resources as well as interesting weekly articles with ideas for implementation or simply reflection. In summary, I learned how my body responds to Ted's balanced approach using food and exercise to achieve weight loss, preserve energy and stamina, and most importantly develop a system for me that both works and is sustainable in the long term.

I work with a personal fitness trainer but after a year of doing the same things, I hit a plateau for five months. I tried several things, including more exercise, less calories, and more calories, and nothing worked. I contacted Ted, who gave me the tools for the missing piece - nutrition and macros. I was not paying attention to what I ate other than hitting my calorie goal. I had no idea how much macros affect my fitness goal. Ted also freed me from thinking I could not have carbs and fat - those I now see as essential. His resources were invaluable, and he is great to work with and always available for any reason. I could not have asked for a better experience. I lost 10 pounds after the 90-day program and gained muscle while eating whole-grain bread and nuts, which I love. I continue to track my macros and do multiple days of cardio and strength training each week. Macros and exercise have become essential to my daily life, and I have never felt better.
