I was on the edge of joining 8STR8; I thought I could change my diet, movement and mindfulness and end up at the same destination. Looking back after 8 weeks of sticking to the exact plan described, I can honestly say starting in Cohort 3 was the best decision I've made all year and 8STR8 has transformed my life. I'm down 20 pounds, I'm stronger than I've ever been and my stress levels have plummeted. In a short 8 weeks, every aspect of my life has improved.

Incredible group - lost 12 pounds in the first month by just sticking to the basics in the guidelines, making the workout routines my own and staying on track with likeminded people who hold each other accountable. Since then, I’ve lost an additional 15 pounds. Stay the course, do the work and the results come. The beauty of this recent process is that I’ve been more alert, attentive and thoughtful with both my work and in my personal life. I spend money on dumb sh*t all the time, this was the best investment I’ve made in myself in recent years.

Joining 8STR8 has positively impacted me in a variety of ways: mindfulness, fitness, and in professional endeavors. I have lost 20 lbs and grew my network with like minded individuals with the same goal in mind: living a more positive life all around. Kyle and JC—thank you!

I joined 8STR8 to keep myself more accountable both in and outside of work. However, after just one month I've come to realize it is so much more than just another fitness challenge. Over the past few weeks, I've forged new friendships, met high-performing individuals from a variety of industries, and of course, got in much better physical (and mental) shape. Looking forward I'm more optimistic about the future and am proud to be part of the 8STR8 community. For anyone on the fence about joining, I would say "Just do it" - you won't be disappointed. - Lincoln

- I’ve experienced a lot of personal fitness growth during my time here at 8STR8. It was very intimidating at first, given that when I first started I struggled to run a mile. Now I’m running a 5K with ease, I’ve joined an aerobic dance studio, started swimming and I’m excited to keep growing so I can achieve fitness goals I had only really fantasized about before. - I was inspired by the founders’ personal stories and their mantra for the group. I was also intrigued by the idea of a community of tech sales professionals focused on fitness and well being. - It’s been amazing being part of this journey and growth in 8STR8. It’s much more than what I expected. The people I’ve met on here are so kind and genuine, and they’ve been incredibly inspiring personally and professionally. Moving forward, I’d say the most important lessons are to stay learning, and not get complacent. Constantly surround yourself with people that are better and can teach you. And to remember to stay consistent and accountable to myself in fitness, and refrain from sacrificing my personal wellbeing for short term wins at work. I love Kyle’s saying - fitness is the single best thing you can do for your career. 💪💪

I thought I was joining a fitness community. Turns out I was only 25% right. As part of 8STR8, I’ve: - quit smoking - lost 13 lbs - started jiujitsu - met and received advice from incredible salespeople - received interview coaching - sweat it out on the gloomiest days (that lifting program HITS) *refer to pic - had the chance to share things I’m passionate and excited about Now, your results will look different than mine but I’m CERTAIN that if you take a leap and let the community you’ve joined uplift you, there WILL be results beyond anything you’re expecting.

When I started 8STR8 I couldn’t remember the last time I ran a mile. I could only swim one length of the pool without stopping to catch my breath. I hadn’t ridden my bike since 2016. By the end of the 8 weeks of following the program, I completed my first triathlon!

- No longer dependent on my anxiety medication to get me through the work day

There’s no coincidence that the more I focused on my mental/physical health, the better I started doing in my job! I joined 8str8 after a few of my friends joined before me, and encouraged me to enroll. In my time with 8str8, my mental health blossomed, my physical health has (& continues!) to grow, not only with losing weight but building muscle, and I received not one, but TWO promotions at work. Being active and focusing on every aspect of my health has transformed my life, and my husbands! (Que the picture of us at a workout together!) The community and support Kyle & JC have created is incredible, and I am forever a fan, and grateful.

8SRT8 has been transformative in my life! I originally joined because I wanted to do something different with my life and realign myself to who I know I am and can be. I had felt bored and wanted to reinvest in myself so I could reinvest in other areas of life. I waited to write this review because I wanted to wait to see some longer results from putting in the work consistently. I started on September 8th 23, finished in November and have kept up drinking a gallon of water (almost) every day since. My workouts have vastly improved, and my resting heart rate has gone from an average of 59 to 52! Journaling has become a regular part of what I do and has been a great way to reflect and hold myself accountable. My family life has improved, and I have become more intentional with my time with them. I have a gym in my home, and my daughter has loved spending time with me while I workout, and she has even learned to “work in” with me 😅 While I have been reasonably quiet in the Slack channel, it has been motivating to see other people find success in every area of their lives from physical, emotional, work, and relationships as they have jumped wholeheartedly into 8STR8.

What have you experienced in 8STR8 so far (weight loss, strength gain, new opportunities, etc.): 1. Lost 10 lbs (190->180 in 2 months) 2. Spending way more time with family (always been known as the cousin who never attends family events) 3. Just accepted a new job + used negotiation tactics learned from group 4. Be a better husband Why did you join 8STR8 in the first place? I joined 8STR8 because I wanted to surround myself around other people who also are striving to be the best and healthiest versions of themselves. People who push themselves especially in the sales world. I joined a free webinar and instantly realized that there was so much to gain if I just spent more time with these extremely smart and hardworking people. How will you take what you've learned with you moving forward? Bias towards action. It's extremely motivating when people are posting their wins on slack and updates. Everyone is extremely "real" and acknowledges that not everyday you're going to want to work out or do something you know that'll help you for the rest of the day but everyone else does. On my days when I really don't want to get out of bed I know there's someone in the group getting after it which pushes me to know I can too.

Joined 8STR8 because I was in a rut. After a couple years in a new career in tech sales I had completely fallen off my workout regiment. Had ballooned up to almost 300lbs and was on a really unhealthy path with my after dinner beers every night. I wasn't getting the community and accountability that I needed in a remote role and so it was easy to go through the unhealthy motions day in and day out. 3 months later and I just dipped below 265lbs for the first time since my wedding in 2017. I've got a network of people who are positive influences and supportive of healthy habits and professional growth. And I'm just getting started.

I joined 8STR8 to surround myself with other dedicated tech pros that are committed to success and fitness. 8STR8 has blown expectations away with great networking, top guest speakers, and a community of people that are committed to supporting each other. 8STR8 has pushed me to put myself out there more and has given me strong self-belief in my own personal business. Kyle and JC are very caring people and great leaders. Join 8STR8!

8STR8 has helped me get back into a healthy rhythm and routine of exercising and taking care of my mind and body. Honestly my experience has been incredible, I started up at kind of a tough time, I had just had a loss in the family and was in the middle of a job change but knowing this community was out there helped keep me motivated and focused on showing up. Some of the biggest things that I’m so thankful that 8STR8 helped me to get on track with was drinking more water, cutting out alcohol, and I loved having the gym regime that was provided. I’m a runner so weight training isn’t something I always prioritize but 8STR8 made a crisp plan that was great to have on hand and got me excited about pumping some iron 💪

To the next 8STR8 member and many more to follow, My name is Kevin Falk, I was part of the 8STR8 on one of the previous cohorts. Not only did I get to meet and network with a great group of like minded individuals, I met someone from the group in my city and now we are working out together. Once I finished the program I was in the best shape of my life, I ran a half marathon and was not even training for one, the program works so well I just decided to lace up my runners and go power one out. I think that is the beauty of the program, it is not just for your fitness, it is for your mental toughness, eating habits, removing bad habits, business success and you get to do it with a fun community of winners. During the Cohort I landed the biggest deal of my personal business, $6M in capital which will result in $20M in real estate. Its not only for tech folks, its for hard working professionals in any industry. The Cohort pushed me to make a career move that has been a burden for quite some time. I finally left Corporate America after 14 years. It isn't easy to walk away from $160K a year but during my time at 8STR8 I got the extra belief in myself to make the leap and go full time in my personal business. It has been the most liberating point in my career. I can now stop "no lifeing it", grow my business but also to continue to grow in fitness, health, volunteering and all the other important things in life. The most important thing we have in life is time and I can thank 8STR8 for pushing me to get that back! Big Thanks to Kyle W & J Pollard for putting together such a great community and fun program. I know 8STR8 is going to be massive because IT WORKS! if you are on the fence about it, just move forward and dive in and I guarantee you will see results. I saw some of the best in my life. Thanks guys!

- My goal for this experience was weght loss, and to learn from this community of like-minded professionals - I was sort of coasting with workouts, diets, and honestly just needed to do somethign out of my comfort zone, found 8STR8 via Linkedin and it was just what I needed - I think soaking up knowledge from others in my position about not only work in Software, but how to balance the aspect of fitness, education, and investing back in myself. Making time for yourself is one of the most rewarding and healthy things you can do. - I wish the 8 weeks didn't have to end, can't thank Kyle, J.C. and the Cohort for all the support.

Self-care. I've been a member of 8STR8 for 3 weeks, #cohort8. The premise of a private membership community for high-performing tech professionals, looking to level up health and career, caught my attention. I connected with JC after attending a webinar that he was on the panel for - his personal approach blew me away. It didn't take long talking with him about my background and goals that I decided joining would be a no-brainer. I joined for: Physical Health - I grew up struggling with obesity. My freshman year of college, I lost 100+ pounds, but purely by diet. Fast forward, when I was 35, I started CrossFit. I am dedicated to getting to classes 5-6 days per week. For me, starting my day with physical activity clears my head and helps me set intentions for the work day. In addition to my regular classes, I love the idea of accumulating 8,000 steps per day, no matter what. Mental Health - my gym routine really helps me to clear my head on a daily basis. What 8STR8 adds to my routine is 8 minutes of daily focus of my intentions (often done while walking the trail to accumulate my 8k steps). In addition, having a group of like-minded individuals as a sounding board? Nothing beats it. Career Growth - In the 3 weeks that I've been a member of the community, I've attended 2 team calls and 2 additional webinars focused on leveling up my skillset as an Enterprise AE in SaaS. I recognize that I can always learn and enhance the foundation of my sales experience - I've already put in to practice ideas from these calls. Truly remarkable. Community - Having a group of high-performing Tech Professionals to connect with to learn from, celebrate with, maintain accountability with and be part of? So far, it has far surpassed expectations, and I know it will continue. And I'm so glad that I did. Thankful to be part of 8STR8.
