I will not forget topics I learned in Session 3 about "B" words; I will continue blocking times on my calendar for focused work & specific tasks; I have learned to speak up if something is bothering me.... that maybe something is just in my head and a "me thing" rather than a real problem with colleagues or clients. This program was different than anything I've ever been in, where we were able to speak freely about stuff going on, vent about certain things, and ask for tips on how to handle situations. Other programs are more of a lecture, or too much "work in a team at your table and present to everyone on a paper afterward". This seemed more personal and intimate. Future participants should not be shy to speak up in the sessions. I didn't partake in the Ask a Coach as much as I would've liked so I'd encourage them not to make the same mistake. I'm glad the firm made the investment, and I hope they offer it to other positions of the company because there is value for everyone. We can all work better together and it can be a domino effect of overall improvement!

This is a top-notch program with a collection of brokers around the country solving similar problems. Jenn, you do such a great job of leading our meetings with real-life examples and experiences. Jenn taught us to think about our roles and clients differently and I practice what I have learned daily. The course has live sessions which I found extremely helpful but my favorite was Jenn's 1:1 opportunities. It was awesome having access to a career coach. When situations with clients or coworkers come up, which they always do, I find myself thinking about the tools Jenn coached us on so I can better navigate my response and find a solution. The tools I've learned even help in my personal life as well! I use the phrase "Something I learned in the AE Academy" all the time.
