I joined this workshop to lose my belly fat (skinny fat), build muscle, get in better shape, and finally have the body that I have always wanted but never worked for.
I wanted to have a more sustainable and structured way of working out that I could adjust and manage on my own.
The videos are extremely informative and yet simple. The workout splits worked well for my schedule and home gym.
The clear and straightforward explanations which made me understand how to be my own trainer.
At first, I was skeptical because the exercises felt too easy. However as I pursued progressive overload, I started noticing my increasing strengths. It became more difficult but more rewarding because I was slowly seeing the results visually and analytically using a body composition scale.

I joined this workshop because I was exhausted. I was tired all the time, struggling to keep up in my water polo games, and just generally fatigued throughout the day. Despite years of research and even setting up a small garage gym, I found it challenging to stick to a routine. I was constantly seeking new answers and methods, which often led to confusion and inconsistency. The appeal of this program was its straightforward approach. It offered a chance to stop the endless search for the 'perfect' fitness solution and instead, follow a structured, proven plan. The idea of just doing what I was told, following a clear set of instructions without second-guessing every step, was incredibly appealing. It was an opportunity to focus on action rather than getting lost in the sea of information and possibilities.
The standout message from the workshop for me was the realisation that not all fitness information carries the same weight. In the past, I got caught up in details like finding the most optimal way to consume protein, yet I missed the bigger picture like tracking calories. The foundational elements the workshop emphasized, such as calorie counting and establishing a routine, have been game changers for me. Initially, I resisted calorie counting, but the advances in apps made it more accessible and less cumbersome than I had imagined. It keeps me honest and aligned with my goals.
I'm delighted with my transformation so far. I started at 104kg (229.3 pounds)and have lost 15kg (33.1 pounds) over four months, now weighing 89kg (196.2 pounds). My routine consists of a 3-day-a-week aesthetic fundamentals training program combined with 2 hours of cardio spread across three additional sessions, totalling six sessions per week. The cardio is a mix of 15-minute high-intensity bike sprints, a 30-minute challenging run, and a 75-minute zone 2 jog. I gradually built up to this first by doing a free 3 day a week couch to 5k program. The cardio not only aids in weight loss but also boosts my fitness for water polo.
In the initial stages of the 3-day aesthetic program, I focused on learning the movements and wasn't lifting much weight. Over time, I've been able to increase the intensity of my sessions. My next goal is to maintain this momentum. I'm absolutely thrilled with my progress so far. Staying true to my initial drive, this routine and program have become an energising start to each day. The visible body changes are incredibly motivating and a constant reminder of how far I've come. Gaining the energy that I was missing and feeling more capable in my sport and daily life only makes me want to carry on with the program.

I purchased the workshop because I often have gone in loops with fitness, watching one YouTube video after the next, never realizing that they all keep saying the same thing in a new packaged format. All of this “planning” and aiming for perfection prevents quite a bit of success. Josh really nailed this program, showing all of his expertise in one concise platform. The workshop has given me the confidence I needed to decipher through the fundamentals of body composition and overall training so that I’m not wasting hours down a YouTube rabbit hole. The best thing about this workshop is the engaging graphics and clear, easy-to-understand information that Josh conveys to those who have decided to partake in this course. My fitness journey still has quite a long way to go, but since Josh’s program, I am actually making steps towards the goals I have rather than “planning” myself to perfection.

As someone on the more fat side of skinny-fat I needed to lose some weight, since starting I am down from 102kgs to 85kgs.
The information was well presented, extremely easy to understand and implement.
I really appreciated the fundamental focus without marketing talk and fluff, Josh did a great job of cutting to what really matters.
If you are looking to get into good shape I highly reccomend this workshop, especially if you are on the heavier side!

What made you purchase.
I purchased the program about a week ago. Been following the 5 day split workout program, tracking calories and macros with my fitness pro, and going through your videos a couple videos a week. I purchased it because I saw your transformation video, then binged watched every single video you have on your YouTube channel. While you are a bit younger than I, your body shape is very similar to mine. I also ran long distance and track and field (pole vaulting) and was a diver. I was extremely skinny entering high school and less than 5 feet. I had a growth spurt my junior year and have always been the skinny guy. After graduating college and getting married and having two kids, the skinny turns into skinny-fat after 10 years. While I did about a year and a half of training 2018-2019 with Bony to Beastly program, I wasn't counting calories or macros, was just eating as much as humanly possible (and not the healthiest) and wasn kind of winging it in the gym. I made some gains and finally put on some muscle, but once covid hit I fell off.
What it's helped with so far.
You explain things concisely, clearly, and cogently. I was not looking to get advice from some ripped bodybuilder, but rather someone that had done the research and knew the science, and had a body similar to mine. That was what convinced me to dive in because I saw that it was possible.
The main things you like about it.
It's simple. It's data and science driven, it's encouraging, and it's entertaining (video editing and content is optimum). I'll send you a before and after photo in about a year ;)

Josh is an excellent presenter, the program is very easy to follow. It is very simple yet extremely well crafted, useful and practical to the core. Everything with a clear and science-based explanation.
I was quite surprised as a skinny-hard-gainer-guy that I could put on some weight after starting the workshop. Recommend it.
